Abstract

Sexual violence in the world of higher education needs a special attention. The protection of every citizen from sexual violence is part of the obligation of state in protecting human rights. The Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 30/2021 on the Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education (Permendikbud 30/2021) which has been released is providing a new hope for the citizens to gain appropriate protection. This study aims to examine to what extent has Permendikbud 30/2021 been implemented so far. The study is expected to provide recommendations on necessary things to be done by Indonesian universities to implement the decree. It employed a desk study scrutinizing relevant academic literature and any data or information from official sources in several universities. We found that the government has taken some efforts to guarantee the protection of the citizens against sexual violence in the world of higher education by releasing the decree. However, not all higher educational institutions have implemented. Therefore, the government is required to push this direction and all universities are required to increase their awareness as to put the regulation at work.    Keywords: Sexual Violence, Higher Education, The Decree Of The Ministry Of Education And Culture No. 30/2021, The Protection Of Human Rights AbstrakKekerasan seksual di perguruan tinggi perlu mendapat perhatian khusus. Perlindungan setiap warga negara terhadap kasus kekerasan seksual merupakan kewajiban negara dalam pemenuhan aspek hak asasi manusia. Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2021 mengenai Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan Seksual di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi yang telah disahkan seolah memberi harapan baru bagi anak bangsa untuk mendapat perlindungan yang selayaknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejauh mana implementasi Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2021 di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini akan memberi saran atau rekomendasi mengenai hal apa saja yang perlu dilakukan oleh setiap perguruan tinggi di Indonesia untuk mengimplementasikan Permendikbud Nomor 30 Tahun 2021. Metode yang digunakan yaitu desk study dengan menelaah literatur akademik yang relevan dan berbagai data atau informasi dari sumber resmi di beberapa perguruan tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah telah berusaha menjamin perlindungan hak warga negara terhadap kasus kekerasan seksual di perguruan tinggi dengan mengesahkan peraturan tersebut, namun belum semua perguruan tinggi mengimplementasikannya sehingga diperlukan dorongan dari pemerintah dan kesadaran setiap perguruan tinggi yang ada di Indonesia untuk segera mewujudnyatakannya. Kata Kunci: Kekerasan Seksual, Perguruan Tinggi, Permendikbud No. 30/2021, Perlindungan HAM

Abstract

Fandom-based social movement, particularly charitable activism, has become increasingly widespread globally in today's digital era. The digital platform plays a massive role in the emergence of a new crowdfunding trend. This study aims to examine the potential and limitations of fandom-based charitable activism in Indonesia and to what extent this activism plays a role in empowering marginalized communities. This research employed a qualitative approach based on secondary data collected from several sources. This article finds that high loyalty and solidity positively correlate with the level of fan involvement in contributing to charitable activities. The youth's dominance and attachment to technology and social media potentially make this movement a broader and long-term impact. However, these activities tend to be sporadic and have not yet addressed the specific issues of marginalized communities. Also, the dependence of fans on the existence of their idols is a challenge for this movement.

Abstract

This study explores the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the public sector, particularly how AI adoption affects employment and the future of work. The questions are what the correlation between AI and the future of work is and how the Indonesian government has developed strategies to adopt AI in the public sector. We sought data from various sources and found Indonesia’s National Strategy on AI, published by the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), to be the most relevant. We reviewed and discussed the paper by cross-referencing with the emerging studies on AI in the global context. We found a strong link between AI adoption and changing employment structure, which requires skills upgrades and human resource deployment restructure. Looking into the sectors more closely, we argue that AI adoption will dramatically change the nature of work and employment structure in healthcare and bureaucracy but will only moderately affect education, food security, mobility, and smart cities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi strategi yang telah diimplementasikan oleh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia dalam meningkatkan keberlanjutan karir lulusan mereka, sambil mengeksplorasi potensi-potensi penguatan yang perlu diperhatikan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh beberapa perubahan signifikan, seperti perluasan pasar kerja yang fleksibel dan ketidakpastian transisi para sarjana dari lingkungan pendidikan ke dunia kerja. Penelitian dilaksanakan di delapan perguruan tinggi yang terletak di empat kota berbeda, selama periode Juli-Oktober 2021. Pemilihan kota-kota tersebut dilakukan untuk mencakup variasi geografis Indonesia dan mewakili pusat pendidikan tinggi di masing-masing wilayah. Data dikumpulkan melalui serangkaian Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mahasiswa, alumni, dan pengelola unit pengembangan karir di setiap perguruan tinggi. Ada tiga temuan utama terkait upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh perguruan tinggi, yaitu penyesuaian kurikulum dengan menambahkan mata kuliah kewirausahaan, pendirian atau pengembangan unit pengembangan karir, dan perluasan jaringan mitra untuk memberikan manfaat kepada mahasiswa dan alumni. Meskipun demikian, faktor-faktor seperti kapasitas lembaga, ketersediaan sumber daya manusia, jaringan, dan konteks lokal turut memengaruhi pemilihan dan dinamika strategi yang diterapkan. Oleh karena itu, hasil yang dicapai bervariasi dan tidak dapat diukur dengan parameter yang seragam. Penelitian ini mengajukan argumen bahwa intervensi kebijakan untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan karir lulusan perguruan tinggi harus mempertimbangkan kompleksitas ini. Oleh karena itu, kami merekomendasikan kepada para pembuat kebijakan terkait implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) untuk memahami kondisi awal perguruan tinggi yang beragam.
