Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, mothers in Sidomulyo Village have been selling online through social media. The potential of the creative economy that already exists in Sidomulyo Village needs to be further developed both in terms of product quality, packaging and even marketing. This service aims to provide promotional media to raise the image of micro business products in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, especially in Sidomulyo Village using the TokoTalk application. This application provides a very complete range of features and services to develop an online business that is easy, practical, and free. After the training, the people of Sidomulyo Village have been able to create and manage their online store well, so it is hoped that they can improve their welfare.

Abstract

The Effect of Work Environment on Job Satisfaction and Its Implications on Employee Performance at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam This research aims were to determine the effect of work environment on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam. With the subject of this study were all employees of PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam with a total of 40 people. Data collection used in this research was a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability while data analysis was done using multiple linear regression analysis. with Path Analysis tools using Smart PLS, and SPSS. The results showed that: 1) Work Environment Variable (X1) had a significant effect on Job Satisfaction (Y1) at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam, 2) Work Environment Variables (X1) insignificant effect on Employee Performance (Y2) at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam, 3) Job Satisfaction Variable (Y1) significantly influenced the Employee Performance (Y2) at PT PLN (Persero) UPDK Mahakam.

Abstract

Service quality is an important aspect for the development of the company. Currently, most consumers are starting to make quality as the main parameter in making choices about a product/service. Moreover, quality is often used as a mean of promotion that is automatically able to increase/decrease the selling value of the company's products. This study aims to determine how much service quality influence  on customer satisfaction at the Kulo Coffee Shop in Samarinda. This study uses quantitative methods. The data of this study were obtained from questionnaires distributed online using the Incidental Sampling technique. The population of this study were people who had bought or consumed Kulo coffee products, the sample used was 104 respondents. This research was conducted with validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis test, coefficient of determination test and t test (partial) which was processed with the help of SPSS 25 Statistic for windows software. The results of the study found that the hypothesis in this study has been significantly proven. Service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, the correlation coefficient is 0.862 and the coefficient of determination is 0.742. The implication of this research is that service quality has equally important role either individually or simultaneously in increasing customer satisfaction at the Kulo Coffee Shop in Samarinda.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the employee recruitment and selection process. The purpose of this study was to determine the process of recruitment and selection of employees at PT. Jamkrida East Kalimantan. The data analysis method is carried out in the form of qualitative data analysis through data processing as a descriptive research process. Namely the data obtained is then analyzed and compared with theories and then evaluated and analyzed. The process of data analysis in this research is by analyzing the data, reducing the data, compiling the data, presenting the data, and checking the validity of the data. The results of the research obtained are the employee recruitment process carried out opening announcements through existing media and receiving applicants' files is still done manually. The selection system carried out uses a gradual selection method which has a weakness, one of which is that there is a time lag that is not explained in detail how long the stages are adjusted to the job description in order to produce good performance for the company. However, the promotion process for the old employees is not explained in detail on the provisions that form the basis for the promotion. It is recommended to make job vacancies announcements online via the internet in other words can be accessed directly on-line to be more efficient. The selection process is gradually carried out in a more structured, scheduled and efficient manner. Realizing the principle of the right person in the right job will be much easier if the recruitment and selection process produces a number of competent employees. Employee performance appraisal should be carried out thoroughly to all employees, both permanent employees and contract employees.
