Abstract

The focus of this research is an effort to develop spatial intelligence used google maps-based puzzle media on social studies learning in class VII A SMPN 1 Cimalaka. The method used is classroom action research. Determination of sample and study site is 38 students. Technical data using observation data, documentation and records. Data were analyzed by descriptive and statistical analysis features. The results showed that the individual activities of students had a significant increase with an average of 71.4% in cycle I, 78.4% in cycle II, and 84% in cycle III. Meanwhile, the group of learners experienced anaverage increase of 20% in the first cycle, 60% in cycle II, and 80% in cycle III. The results showed google maps-based puzzle media proved to be significantly can develop spatial intelligence as well as learning outcomes of students. Based on the research results, it is recommended that teachers can develop google maps-based puzzle media as an alternativesocial studies learning media, that the implementation will be successful if followed with sincerity ranging from planning, implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the compromise as a key democratic culture. When, tolerance and freedom excluded from the mechanism of the social system, not only makes the further democratic culture of social authority, but social change will be very few are friendly and do not give hope for avoiding conflict. Compromise is the best way and elegant in resolving differences in the interests of democratic culture because it upholds equality, maintaining the balance between rights and obligations, cultivate the attitude of prudence and justice, familiarize consensus in decision making as well as promoting unity and national unity.  Compromise as a key democratic culture is an expression of political intelligence without the interests of the group to achieve stability. Permalink/DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.15408/sd.v2i2.2820

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi fenomena pasca pandemi covid-19 yang meyakini virtual tourism tetap menjadi kebutuhan untuk memberikan gambaran dan pengalaman tentang objek wisata bagi kaum generasi milenial yang sudah familiar dengan penggunaan teknologi digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi generasi milenial tentang aplikasi virtual tourism dan persepsi generasi milenial terhadap virtual tourism pasca pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan persepsi generasi milenial tentang aplikasi virtual tourism sudah digunakan secara optimal sebesar 25% dan persepsi generasi milenial terhadap virtual tourism pasca pandemi covid-19 terbukti signifikan sangat diperlukan sebesar 85%. Dengan demikian, perubahan platform bisnis menjadi digital melalui virtual tourism akan menjadi peluang dalam mempertahankan dan memulihkan sektor industri pariwisata semakin maju, berdaya saing, dan berkelanjutan terutama bagi generasi milenial pasca pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing income and welfare of consumers' needs for tourism services can not be separated from the decision to visit tourists based on tourist attraction, motivation, and the price of a tourist attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of tourist attraction, motivation, and price on the decision to visit the Cikandung Springs tourist attraction. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis and the proof of the hypothesis is done by t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2). Samples were taken from 150 respondents. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y=3,487+0,411X1+0,415X2+0,420X3. The results of the t-test indicate that the variables of tourist attraction, motivation, and price have a significant effect on the decision to visit the Cikandung Springs tourist attraction. The results of the F test indicate that the variables of tourist attraction, motivation, and price have a significant effect on the decision to visit the Cikandung Springs tourist attraction. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) explain that tourist attraction, motivation, and price affect the decision to visit the Cikandung Springs tourist attraction by 36.7%. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that tourist attraction managers always pay attention to the factors of tourist attraction, motivation, and price in developing tourist objects because the results of the study prove a significant influence on the decision to visit tourists.

Abstract

Along with the arrival of globalization, local cultural wisdom has shifted and is often neglected. Therefore, ethnoscience is a learning resource that can be used. The aim of the research is to find out whether the Tourism Industry Study Program has implemented and described ethnoscience in learning cultural anthropology courses using qualitative research methods. The results of the research prove that the implementation of ethnoscience as a source of learning has not been properly planned but has implicitly used an ethnoscience approach through integration between the socio-cultural environment of the community and the material. Evaluation is carried out using authentic assessment. It is hoped that through the implementation of ethnoscience as a source of learning cultural anthropology it can become a bastion of cultural values ​​and local wisdom so that they are not displaced by foreign cultures and remain sustainable amidst the currents of globalization.

Abstract

Background: Geotourism is a type of sustainable and conservation-based tourism that can provide educational value for the community on the importance of preserving nature. Aim: The research was carried out with a field survey to determine the potential of Cipadayungan waterfall in Padasari Village, Cimalaka District, Sumedang Regency in the opportunity to develop geotourism. Method: The research method used is descriptive qualitative with survey analysis which refers to classification according to feasibility indicators and quantitative descriptive based on the evaluation of geotourism potential in terms of environmental aspects. Findings: The results of the study prove the potential of Cipadayungan waterfall to be included in the category of having decent potential as an educational geotourism destination. The biggest hope is that the geotourism of Cipadayungan waterfall can be more developed and popular as an environmentally friendly geotourism destination in Indonesia.

Abstract

Study background need will post healing tourism covid-19 pandemic. Destination study is for knowing perspective Generation Millennials about healing tourism, the factors that influence healing tourism, and the efforts made for carry out post- healing tourism covid-19 pandemic. Study this use method study quantitative with analysis descriptive. Research results prove part big from they state not enough know (35%) true meaning from healing tourism but often use term the in everyday especially post covid-19 pandemic. Influencing factors _ perspective generation millennial about the need for post- healing tourism the biggest covid-19 pandemic among them for get rid of boredom or bored during the period of Scalable Social Restrictions Big (34%), and the effort made generation millennial for do post healing tourism the biggest covid-19 pandemic is sports (walking) around village / complex, cycling, and swimming (24%). With so, everything activity related tourism_ with destination could pleasant heart, mind, and cheap rousing is part from healing tourism products and worthy developed as one _ opportunity awaken sector industry tourist post covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Role of Kiai in the Development of Modern Education in Islamic Boarding Schools. The method used is qualitative research with a literature review approach. The steps in this research include identifying literature sources, such as books, scientific journals, research papers, and other relevant documents related to the research topic. There are several steps that researchers must undertake in this study, including: a. Determining the research topic, b. Finding relevant literature sources, c. Selecting relevant and quality literature sources, d. Reading and evaluating the selected literature sources, e. Organizing data and extracting relevant information, f. Analyzing data, and g. Preparing a research report. The conclusion of this study is that the difference between Salafiyah and Khalafiyah Islamic boarding schools lies in their approach and view of Islamic teachings. Islamic boarding schools have many advantages and benefits for students in developing themselves. They provide a comprehensive and in-depth learning experience, as well as preparing students to live independently and contribute to society. The leadership style of Kiai has characteristics that can help develop Islamic boarding schools effectively. The transactional and transformational leadership applied by Kiai can bring Islamic boarding schools to a higher level of quality education. Additionally, effective leadership characteristics of Kiai can create a conducive environment for students to learn, for teachers to engage and grow, and for community support to help improve the quality of education provided by the Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Community welfare is one of the objectives that the state must meet. Through social policy, then human development can be carried out. This human development in the future will improve the quality of people’s lives. This research will be carried out to look at how social welfare is increased through social policies to develop humans. This research will use a qualitative approach. The research data comes from the results of previous research and studies which still have relevance to the contents of this study. The results of this study found that in order to develop humans, policies and planning are unavoidable. Human development to create social welfare can be carried out with social policies supported by appropriate budgets. Acceleration of human development itself can be carried out by implementing social empowerment and community-based social rehabilitation for problem groups.
