Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan komunikasi seni melalui budaya masyarakat Bandung dalam bingkai penciptaan seni terfokus pada fenomena kota kosmopolitan kemudian mewujudkan bentuk masyarakat urban dengan segala bentuk gejala sosialnya dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, khususnya di daerah Cicadas, gejala sosial yang muncul menjadi dinamika tersendiri yang dapat dikaji dari berbagai perspektif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti membuat sebuah bingkai berdasarkan persepsi terhadap gejala sosial yang terjadi di tengah dinamika masyarakat urban. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analisis deskriptif bersifat kualitatif dalam menggambarkan persepsi terkait hal-hal istimewa dari gejala sosial yang ditemukan saat melakukan pengamatan pada karya seni ilustrasi yang erat kaitannya dengan gambaran masyarakat urban. Penelitian ini menjabarkan makna-makna dari karya seni yang diciptakan oleh seniman, ditemukan bahwa karya yang muncul merupakan wujud representasi gejala sosial yang dituangkan dalam bentuk karya seni dan secara tidak langsung maka pada karya seni Mufty Priyanka  menjadi media komunikasi penciptanya merespon berbagai isu terkait gejala serta interaksi sosial yang muncul di kawasan padat penduduk, atau kawasan yang muncul di tengah hiruk pikuk masyarakat urban Bandung dalam perspektif seni.

Abstract

Indina Jones and The Raiders: The Lost Ark is a 1981 American action adventure film in which Harrison plays Indiana Jones, an archaeologist who travels the world competing with Nazi Germany in 1936 to find the Ark of the Covenant, which has long been lost. The research method used in this study is a qualitative approach and semiotic analysis of Charles Sanders Pierce. Sources of data obtained from this research are watching the movie Indiana Jones and The Raiders: The Lost Ark which is then selected visuals or images from scenes in the film that contain archaeological elements, as well as secondary data obtained from literature studies that can support primary data in this research. The purpose in writing this article is to analyze and discover the archaeological meaning in the film Indiana Jones and The Raiders: The Lost Ark. The data collection technique used in this study is an observation technique by analyzing and watching and observing carefully from each scene and dialogue in the film Indiana Jones and The Raiders: The Lost Ark, then recording and analyzing according to the research method used, namely by analyzing the scene. using the semiotic analysis of Charles Sander Pierce with categories of icons, indexes and symbols.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss signs or semiotic analysis in the climbing journey carried out in the 5CM film, using Charles Sander Peirce's semiotic analysis. In this film tells the story of the struggle of climbing Mount Semeru which was carried out by 5 friends and one of the younger brothers of one of them, in the ascent there was a lot of cohesiveness and solidity between them, the climbing struggle was not easy to pass but they were able to achieve their goals thanks to hard work and mutual support. complement each other. From this phenomenon, the writer analyzes the images presented using the semiotic theory of Charles Sanders Pierce. This analysis will be based on a classification based on objects with the main subject of study on icons, indexes and symbols according to the subject of Charles Sanders Pierce's Semiotics study. The method used in the preparation of this article is a qualitative analysis method by observing and analyzing the material carefully by the author. This film clearly describes the climbing journey of 5 friends who went through many obstacles and threats to reach the top as their goal. Things about the world of climbing in general are also depicted in this film which is considered to provide education to the audience. In the pictures that are presented, many meanings are conveyed and that is what will be the object of study in this article. Hopefully this article can provide some information and can be a reference in the next writing.

Abstract

Costumes and make-up are important aspects of the film's artistic system, the film Bumi Manusia by Director Hanung Bramantyo has a costume and make-up concept to complement the impression of a background story with the theme of life in the Dutch era in the past, the management process requires the expertise of the divisions. or an artistic arrangement crew that is able to coordinate and create according to the needs of the film script. This study aims to determine the extent of the process and the results carried out to achieve the suitability that has been broken down by the artistic crew for harmony and satisfaction with the audience in assessing the film, especially the existence of the costumes and make-up used. The method used in making this journal is descriptive qualitative about how theory becomes the main thing in ongoing problems. The findings of this study show that the concept of costume and makeup, which is one of the artistic parts, is considered through in-depth research. So the concept of costumes and makeup in this film gives the character a strong whole story between the natives (Indonesia) and the Colonial invaders (the Netherlands). The implications of this research can be a reference for film artistic directors.

Abstract

The film Bumi Manusia directed by Hanung Bramantyo is an adaptation of a novel written by Paramoedya Ananta Toer with the same title. The story raised tells of the struggle of the indigenous people against various forms of colonialism. To describe the setting of the place and time of the film Bumi Manusia, represent it through costumes as a feature that the story occurred during the Dutch colonial period and the culture of colonialism occurred in the country. Costumes are a very vital marker during the Dutchcolonial period that can distinguish the social stratification between aristocrats and indigenous peoples. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach and data sources were obtained from the film Bumi Manusia. The data taken in this study were the costumes that distinguished the two parties between the colonizers or aristocrats and the indigenous people. Abstract

Artwork in a beauty is a must in every process of creation. Art is one of the entertainment media, which can provide pleasure for the general public. One form of art that is often used as entertainment is art in the form of audio-visual. Advertising is one form of video that is found today, almost all digital media have visual advertisements. Be it on television, billboards or billboards, the internet, and much more. Advertising media using moving visuals is considered effective because it can attract the attention of consumers who see it and tend to feel at home watching it because it is not monotonous. Advertisements are made with the hope that consumers who see are able to feel even carried away and moved to buy the product itself. Ads are made very detailed with the intent and purpose for the promotion to run perfectly. The purpose of this study is to analyze and dissect an audio visual work in the type of good day coffee advertisement both in terms of audio and visual design and creation and then see whether this advertisement has been effective in terms of visual, audio, content, and duration.

Abstract

This study discusses Jaka Tarub's costume adaptation of the 7 wonders webtoon. Costumes are the most important part of the artistic order to support the course of a show. In the production process of a work, costumes and makeup also become an important unit in building a visualization. And even then, the adaptation process when creating a work, namely the adaptation of Jaka Tarub's costume from Webtoon 7 wonders. The methodology that the researcher uses is a research base design, with steps of concept idea, implementation and evaluation. This research has succeeded in creating an adaptation of the visualization of the costume artistic arrangement that is in accordance with the image of the character in the 7 wonders webtoon story. This research can be a reference for artistic stylists of film costumes in exploring the richness of Indonesian localities to be adapted to global films.Keywords — Artistics, Costumes, Adaptations, Webtoon

Abstract

Abstract at The problem of waste in Indonesia is never finished, even now waste is a serious problem, especially plastic waste that is difficult to decompose, with the presence of these problems, it is necessary to carry out campaign actions that can provide awareness so that caring actions arise for all parties, this includes making campaign designs on various social media and websites to foster a sense of care in dealing with waste problems. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, the authors make observations to obtain interview data from informants and find out solutions to create the right design for the NARAI program as a media for waste reduction campaigns in Bekasi City. Based on the research data obtained, the authors can design the NARAI program as a waste reduction campaign media, which will produce a website management design, as well as 6 feeds and 4 instastory designs uploaded to NARAI Instagram @naraiwonderland to be well organized and aim to attract public attention. so that information and education can be received properly.

Abstract

Film is a medium that has an influence on the entire audience. The influence obtained through the film can be in the form of changes in mindset, behavior and everything related to human psychological aspects. In today's modern era, all social issues can be raised as a storytelling topic in a film, one of which is the issue of body shaming or demeaning behavior of others, the issue was later raised into a film entitled Imperfect which was released in 2019. In this study, researchers will analyze how the influence of the film Imperfect on the audience's perception that is devoted to students. The researcher uses quantitative research methods in the data collection process and is carried out by distributing questionnaires then the data obtained will be analyzed through several data tests, so that the results of this study can be achieved.

Abstract

Based on research data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018, annually, there are around 1.3 million people in the world experienced traffic accidents where one of the factors that has recently increased is due to driving while using cellphones. With the increase in the issue, there is a need for socialization of the dangers that can be caused by driving while using cellphones. “Tetap Fokus di Jalan” is a public service advertisement film that is mean to be a socialization effort of the issue. However, as a work of art that is intended to be effective in proclaiming the social message that the creator wants to convey, an aesthetical theory approach is needed in the process of its creation. DeWitt H. Parker advocates the existence of six principles of an artwork to be declared as a beauty. In this study, the authors uses the aesthetic theory of DeWitt H. Parker to the process of creating the public service advertisement film “Tetap Fokus di Jalan”.
