Abstract

The phenomenon of the Corona Virus Diseases (Covid-19) Pandemic that has occurred in all corners of the world has made the world's internal situation very worrying. However, if you are willing to look back at your historical track record, situations similar to the Covid-19 pandemic have actually been experienced by the world, such as SARS-Coronavirus and MERS-Coronavirus. All of these phenomena have been studied in medical laboratories, but what is very rarely done is an assessment based on existing historical records or data, as in classical Lontar literature as in Lontar Roga Sanghara Bhumi. Three issues were raised in this study: regarding the structure of the text, classifying the Covid-19 pandemic disaster from the Lontar Roga Sanghara Bhumi study and spiritual mitigation efforts in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic disaster from the Lontar Roga Sanghara Bhumi study. This type of research is a qualitative research with a psychological approach. The data obtained were collected using library techniques and document recording. The data that has been collected is then analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques and hermeneutics. The results of this study indicate that the content structure is structured in the format of formal structure (manggala, corpus, epilogue, language) and narrative structure (theme and aspects of speech). If classified, the Covid-19 disaster in the text of Lontar Roga Sanghara Bhumi is included in a Non-Natural Disaster, which is categorized as a Grubug Agung phenomenon or a pandemic outbreak on a wide scale. There are several spiritual mitigation efforts in responding to Covid-19 according to Lontar Roga Sanghara Bhumi, including; (1) Preventive Efforts, in the form of spiritual-based isolation and social distancing efforts, drawing closer to God and fortifying oneself with spiritual means, (2) Curative Efforts, in the form of alternative treatments with tattwa and spiritual ethics as well as through ritual means (yajña), and (3) Promotive Efforts, in the form of suggestions to deepen the knowledge of God, ethics and morality, yaja and deepen the knowledge of usada

Abstract

The phenomenon of corruption cases is not a foreign phenomenon in Indonesia. Its existence seems to have become ingrained in the daily routine of the world of work which is increasingly being suppressed by the increasing pace of development of the necessities of life, as well as the temptation of the development of new technological innovations that are increasingly tempting. There have been many cases of corruption that have been revealed, but the emergence of corruptors is actually getting more and more caught. Of course, it is interesting to study when considering the fact that criminal and civil law verdicts have not provided a deterrent effect. There is a need for the presence of other sanctions that accompany so that corruptors are more aware of, which in this case is the cultivation of an understanding of religious sanctions. The purpose of this research is to stimulate the anti-corruption spirit of the community through understanding the teachings of Hinduism, especially through the concept of the Karmaphala Trilogy. Three issues are raised in this study: the existence of corruption, efforts to eradicate corruption and efforts to build an anti-corruption spirit through the Karmaphala Trilogy. As a type of qualitative research, the data obtained in this study were collected through library techniques and document recording. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive technique. The results of the analysis show that corruption is a product of the life attitude of a group of people who glorify the existence of nominal finance (money) as a standard of truth. Recognizing the increasingly worrying level of extremity of corruption cases, efforts to eradicate them can no longer be carried out with ordinary steps, but extraordinary methods are needed in the form of a combination of socialization of criminal law, civil law and religious law. Building the Anti-Corruption spirit through the Karmaphala Trilogy is one alternative that can be done, through inculcating an understanding of the concept of Sancita Karmaphala, instilling an understanding of the concept of Prarabdha Karmaphala and inculcating an understanding of the concept of kryamana karmaphala to the public.

Abstract

Yajña routines are generally known by the public, especially by Hindus in Bali. However, often the Yajña routine is only seen as a ritual and lacks philosophical understanding. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further evaluation studies, especially on the understanding of Hindu students in higher education regarding the existence of the Yajña. This research is a field research, with a qualitative descriptive research method. The selection of participants is not directed at the number, but is based on the principles of suitability and adequacy to achieve data saturation. The technique of determining the research subject in this study used purposive sampling, with a psychological approach. The primary data in this study is the result of interviews between researchers and the main resource persons, namely Hindu students of STIKes Wira Medika Bali. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, literature and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Colaizzi method. This study aims to transform understanding to the younger generation of Hindus regarding how, what and why the Yajña is carried out. The results showed that the optional dominance of the perception of Hindu students at STIKes Wira Medika Bali towards the implementation of Yajña tends to lead to the context of quantity, which indicates that students tend to more easily understand Yajña in the context of nominal or amount, compared to the quality aspect. This indicates that there is still a need for further improvement of Hindu religious methods and materials, especially in planting an understanding of the existence of Yajña.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to awaken and straighten out personal perceptions of the existence of people with epilepsy so that mythological discrimination against people with epilepsy can be minimized and eliminated. Three issues are raised in this study: forms of mythological discrimination of epilepsy sufferers, causes of the emergence of mythological discrimination of epilepsy sufferers according to Hindu religious teachings, and solutions in overcoming the phenomenon of mythological discrimination of epilepsy sufferers according to Hindu teachings. As a type of qualitative research, the data obtained in this study were collected using library techniques and document recording. Analysis of the data that has been collected was carried out using a qualitative descriptive technique. The results of the analysis show that the forms of mythological discrimination received by epilepsy sufferers in the Tri Education Center are restrictions, shunned, ostracized, humiliated, humiliated, and even imprisoned. The causes of the emergence of mythological discrimination of people with epilepsy are due to the low quality of education (formal, informal, non-formal), the low implementation of human values, the degradation of morality, and the low implementation of the teachings of Catur Marga Yoga. Solutions that can be taken to overcome the phenomenon of mythological discrimination of epilepsy sufferers according to Hindu religious teachings include improving the quality of tattwa (philosophical) education, increasing moral quality, integrating human values that are integrated in the concept of Pawongan with tat tvam asi, and the last is realizing the implementation of the teachings of catur marga yoga (bhakti marga yoga, jnana marga yoga, karma marga yoga and raja marga yoga).

Abstract

The yajña routine carried out by generations of Balinese Hindus seems to be synonymous with festivity, which ultimately becomes a paradox in religious life. Therefore, the younger generation of Hindus needs to be equipped with the philosophical meaning of the implementation of yajña through the basis of literature, in order to have a clear and directed basis or basis regarding their obligations in maintaining the preservation and sustainability of the yajña tradition in the space of religious spirituality. There are three things that become the basis of the problem in this research study, namely related to the structure of Dewa Tattwa literature, the tattwa of yajña quality contained therein, and the function of understanding the tattwa of yajña quality for the Hindu generation. The data studied in this qualitative research was collected through document recording techniques and literature, which in the process of analysis was carried out with qualitative descriptive techniques. The purpose of this study is to reveal the functional basis of instilling philosophical values in the implementation of yajña according to the Dewa Tattwa text for the younger generation of Hindus. The results of the analysis show the structure of the Dewa Tattwa text, including the formal structure (manggala, corpus, epilogue and language) and narrative structure (text theme and speech aspects). The yajña quality tattwa contained therein, includes religious tattwa (symbolic), spiritual moral tattwa, Hindu legal tattwa (awig-awig), and also legitimization tattwa (ratification or inauguration). Regarding the function of cultivating the quality of yajña implementation for the younger generation of Hindus according to Dewa Tattwa literature, including; educational function, rescue function, discipline function, decency function, and self-control function.
