Abstract

The aim of this study is to measure the impact of the human capital on the economic productivity level in provinces of Kalimantan Island. The data used in this study was a panel data from 5 provinces in Kalimantan Island within 2013-2017 time periods which its study finding was analyzed using panel data regression analysis with random effect approach. The study finding explains that the human capital, measured by the education level which is the average of years of education, the health level which is life expectancy and investment has a positive effect on the productivity level of the regional economy. The analysis result also shows that the health variable has a bigger magnitude compared to the education and physical capital investment variables. Based on the result, it can be concluded that the effect of human capital is very important in increasing economic productivity in the region.

Abstract

Pelatihan pencelupan dan pengikatan warna benang telah dilakukan kepada perajin tenun corak Insang di kota Pontianak. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melatih perajin tenun agar dapat melakukan proses pencelupan dan pengikatan warna pada benang yang nantinya akan menghasilkan tenunan bermotif corak Insang. Pelatihan diikuti oleh perajin tenun yang tergabung dalam kelompok swadaya masyarakat yaitu KSM Mekar II dan KSM Pucuk Rebung. Sebanyak 12 orang dari anggota KSM yang mengikuti pelatihan ini. Peserta mendapat penjelasan materi berupa bahan yang digunakan dalam proses pencelupan meliputi zat warna dan penguncinya (fixer) serta praktek pencelupan dan pengikatan warna pada benang. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah mampu melakukan proses pencelupan dan pengikatan warna benang yang selanjutnya dianik sebagai benang lusi pada suri serta siap untuk ditenun menghasilkan tenun corak Insang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of government expenditures, gender gap and per capita income on the education and income inequalities of regencies and cities in West Kalimantan Province. This research used secondary data in a form of data panel. These data include time series data for 5 years (2011 – 2015) and cross-section data for 14 regencies and cities in West Kalimantan Province. The results showed that the government expenditures and per capita income have significant negative effect on the education inequality. In contrary, gender gap give insignificant positive effect on the education inequality. Furthermore, the education inequality has a significant positive effect on the income inequality.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence the impact of intergovernmental transfers on local revenue effort. This study uses unbalanced panel data from 14 Regency / Municipality in West Kalimantan Province during the period 2001 to 2009.The research concluded that (1) There are differences in the local revenue capacity in the Regency/Municipality West Kalimantan Province, causing the local revenue efforts was different, (2) On average in the Regency / Municipality West Kalimantan Province, DAU and DBH tax (unconditional transfers ) has a positive and significant effect on local revenue effort, (3) On average in the Regency / Municipality West Kalimantan Province, DAK (conditional transfers) has a negative and significant effect on local revenue effort.

Abstract

This study aims to map the creative economy culinary subsector of Pontianak City in 2017 based on Creative Economy Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) and structure-conduct-performance (SCP) approach. This study also maps the characteristic of creative economy actor culinary subsector based on age and education, as well as observes the creativity of culinary subsector in Pontianak City. This study used qualitative descriptive method with study object in Pontianak City. The sampling method used was stratified random sample with 287 total samples. The result was the creative economy scopes in Pontianak City mostly are restaurants, stalls, and café. The economy creative actor for culinary subsector in Pontianak is 40 years old in average and 51.2% had high school as their educational background. The creativity of culinary subsector in Pontianak City were 41.1% involving the trained chef, 8,4% routinely creates new menu, 14.3% consists the local cuisine, 51,2% gives culinary experience for the consumers, and 29.3% has used technology. Based on the SCP approach (1) 95.5% culinary business model in Pontianak City are independent, (2) 79.8% (229 respondents) of the creative economy actors stated they determine the price by themselves; from 229 respondents, 120 respondents determined their own prices after finding out their rival’s prices, (3) 87.1% marketing strategy still use word of mouths marketing technique, (4) the business turnover per month ranging from IDR 400.000- > IDR 80.000.000 and manpower recruiting with micro business criteria (1-4 people) for 88.2% while small business (5-19 people) for 11,8%.

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a main factor in determining achievement to help build the quality and welfare of human life in the sense of improving the welfare of the people. Quality human resources are the main capital that is the most basic for the development of a nation. West Kalimantan's HDI is currently ranked as low as 30th. More special review and attention is needed to analyze this. Several factors such as fiscal decentralization, poverty and unemployment can influence human development in West Kalimantan. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of fiscal decentralization, poverty and unemployment on HDI in West Kalimantan Province. The analysis will also be completed from an Islamic economic perspective in the context of human development. The research method is quantitative using secondary data. The data is then processed using eviews software. The research model was obtained after going through model testing and classical assumption testing. It is hoped that this research can provide another side of the policy approach to increasing HDI from an Islamic economic perspective.

Abstract

The number of poor people in West Kalimantan is still in the second highest position among the provinces in Kalimantan the poverty level in six districts is above the national poverty level. The research aims to determine the impact of fiscal decentralization which is proxied by the General Allocation Fund, education which is proxied by the Average Years of Schooling, and Economic Growth on the number of poor people in the District/City of West Kalimantan Province. This research uses secondary data from 2010-2022. The novelty of this research is the use of the General Allocation Fund variable which is regional income from central transfers. Previous researchers have rarely used the General Allocation Fund variable to see the relationship between transfer funds and poverty alleviation efforts in West Kalimantan Province. In the future, more attention will be paid to the allocation and use of the General Allocation Fund so that it will have an impact on overcoming poverty and using quantitative analysis with panel data regression method, Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The research results found that the general allocation fund variable had a significant and positive effect on the number of poor people. the variable average length of schooling has a significant and negative effect on the number of poor people, and economic growth has an insignificant and positive effect on the number of poor people in the District/City of West Kalimantan Province. The results of this research are the basis for consideration of the West Kalimantan Provincial government policy to eradicate poverty which is carried out thoroughly and comprehensively through the government's role in the form of strengthening fiscal decentralization and improving economic performance in each Regency/City area of ​​West Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

Share price fluctuations can be analyzed through factors that can influence them, such as internal and external factors that can influence the company's share price. This research aims to analyze the influence of firm size, share sales, and inflation on share prices in companies listed on the Jakarta Islamic Index. This research was carried out by observing 10 companies registered on the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), namely PT Adaro Energy Tbk, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, PT United Tractors Tbk, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk. With a 10-year observation period, namely 2012-2021 using quarterly data. This research uses a panel data regression analysis method and is processed using the Eviews 12 application. The results of this research show that partially firm size has a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices, while share sales and inflation have a negative and significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

Masjid sebagai pusat kegiatan keagamaan memiliki potensi besar untuk tidak hanya memupuk keimanan, namun juha membentuk fondasi solidaritas dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi umat. Penelitian ini membahas peran Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid dalam menciptakan platform yang mendukung Pembangunan solidaritas dan ekonomi umat. Secara umum pengambdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendalami keberagaman program-program yang dijalankan oleh Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid, mencakup kegiatan sosial, ekonomi dan pendidikan, kemudian mengeksplorasi dampak positif dari program-program Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid terhadap solidaritas umat serta membahas upaya Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid dalam menciptakan peluang ekonomi yang merata dengan focus khusus pada pemberdayaan Perempuan dan pemuda.

Abstract

Sustainable development is essential for the continuity of companies and economic activities. This research investigates the implications of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia by reviewing previous research and filling gaps using accounting and economic perspectives. This research adopted a systematic literature review and content analysis approach using 13 articles from published articles indexed by the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) 2 and 3. Research findings, namely the variable presence of a Corporate Social Responsibility Officer or Sustainability Officer, appear to be a predictor of SDGs disclosure in corporate reporting. The following research finding is that educational accountants as educational curriculum creators can align with SDGs. Another research finding, Zakat plays a role in achieving SDGs, namely poverty, hunger, health, and education.
