Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know and to describe learning problems of Dance subject at elementary school. The lack of teacher’s understanding and the lack of infrastructure become the inhibition of students’ creativity to acquire the materials of dance subject. That being said, this research objective is to describe the creative dance movement skill by applying Quantum Teaching approach on Grade IV at elementary school of 36 Sungai Ambawang. The research findings showed that the application of Quantum Teaching approach on creative dance movement on Grade IV at elementary school of 36 Sungai Ambawang succeeded, and it was matching well with the learning objectives. The results were observed when the students demonstrated creative dance movements. The students who previously were unenthusiastic became enthusiastic after they were placed in groups. Keywords: Influence, cooperative learning model of talking stick, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan seberapa besar pengaruh penerapan model talking stick terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 41 Sungai Ambawang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequevalent Control Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 84 peserta didik. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bawah hasil belajar peserta didik pada post-tes di kelas eksperimen memberikan pengaruh sebesar 0,88. Hal ini berarti pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Talking Stick memberikan pengaruh dengan kriteria tinggi terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 41 Sungai Ambawang. Kata kunci : Pengaruh, Model Talking Stick, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study aims to describe how much influence the application of the talking stick to the study of students learning Indonesian in Class V State Elementary School 41 Ambawang River. The method used is the method of quasi experiment with the design of the study is Nonequevalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study is 84 students. Results of the data analysis indicate that the learning outcomes of students at the post-test in the experimental class effect of 0.88. This means learning by applying the model Talking Stick give effect to the high criteria for the study of students in grade V in learning Indonesian in State Elementary School 41 Ambawang River.
