<![CDATA[Abstract The method applied in this research is the metching plate method, which is to record the number of vehicle plates in and out to obtain vehicle data. From the vehicle data analysis is carried out to get accumulation, duration, parking volume, parking turnover and parking index. The analysis results obtained for two-wheeled vehicles have the highest accumulation of 478 on Wednesday, while for four-wheeled vehicles have the highest accumulation of 53 on Monday, the duration of parking vehicles ranges from 2-3 hours to the second highest, the highest parking volume for four-wheeled vehicles as many as 16 vehicles occurred on Monday while for two wheels 107 occurred on Wednesday, the average parking turnover rate was 0.25 cars/plot and 0.219 motorcycles/ parking lots and parking indexes on average for four-wheeled vehicles amounting to 97.38 % and for two-wheeled vehicles by 110.9%. Judging from the characteristics of parking, vehicle parking in the parking area of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Halu Oleo is no longer able to accommodate both four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles. Abstrak Metode yang di terapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode plat metching yaitu mencatat nomor plat kendaraan yang keluar-masuk untuk mendapatkan data kendaraan. Dari data kendaraan di lakukan analisis untuk mendapatkan akumulasi,durasi,volume parkir,tingkat pergantian parkir dan indeks parkir. Hasil analisis yang di peroleh untuk kendaraan roda dua memiliki akumulasi tertinggi 478 pada hari rabu, sedangkan untuk kendaraan roda empat memiliki akumulasi tertinggi 53 pada hari senin,durasi kendaraan parkir berkisar 2-3 jam untuk yang tertinggi keduanya,volume parkir tertinggi untuk kendaraan roda empat sebanyak 16 kendaraan terjadi pada hari senin sedangkan untuk roda dua sebanyak 107 terjadi pada hari rabu,tingkat pergantian parkir rata-rata 0,25 mobil/petak dan 0,219 motor/petak parkir serta indek parkir rata-rata untuk kendaraan roda empat sebesar 97,38% dan untuk kendaraan roda dua sebesar 110,9%.Di tinjau dari karakteristik parkir, parkir kendaraan pada area parkir Fakultas Teknik Universitas Halu Oleo sudah tidak dapat lagi menampung kendaraan baik roda empat maupun roda dua. ]]>
