Abstract

Manual lifting activities are still often used in the industrial world, both small and large industries. Occupational safety and health need to be considered because things caused by errors in material handling and excessive loads can cause injuries. This research was carried out in roof tile making activities in Godean. The activities carried out still use human power in flowing materials with the process flow. If this activity is carried out continuously, it is feared that it will cause accidents. Therefore, there is a need for evaluation, namely energy consumption by measuring heart rate, determining optimal rest time, Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) is a recommendation for the limit of weight that can be lifted by humans without causing injury even if done repetitively and over a long period of time. This RWL is determined by NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) and the Job Severity Index (JSI). This research is useful for providing information and input about the importance of health and safety as well as providing information and insight for workers to pay more attention to occupational health and safety.

Abstract

Pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam pembangunan manusia, bangsa, dan negara untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat secara keseluruhan. Namun, di wilayah pedesaan seperti Dukuh Kedung, Bantul, tersedia pendidikan yang memadai masih menjadi tantangan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, bimbingan belajar diselenggarakan sebagai bagian dari program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Universitas Alma Ata Yogyakarta. Para mahasiswa KKN menggunakan metode interaktif untuk meningkatkan prestasi akademik siswa, memfasilitasi orangtua yang sibuk, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. Bimbingan belajar ini memberikan dampak positif yang signifikan dengan meningkatnya minat dan motivasi belajar siswa/siswi, serta keterampilan akademik yang lebih baik. Evaluasi menunjukkan keberhasilan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan meningkatkan antusiasme siswa terhadap pendidikan. Harapannya, keberlanjutan program ini dapat terus meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di pedesaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of competitive advantage, entrepreneurial orientation, and product innovation on the business success of snack food MSMEs in Sukabumi City. The phenomenon observed is the importance of innovation and competitive advantage in facing intense business competition. The problem identified is that it is unclear how much each of these factors contributes to the success of MSME businesses. This study used quantitative method with descriptive approach and associative analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 67 snack food MSMEs in Sukabumi City. Validity and reliability of the instruments were tested using SPSS, and multiple linear regression analysis was used to test the research hypotheses. The results showed that competitive advantage had a positive and significant influence on business success with a significance value of 0.022. In contrast, entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation do not have a significant influence on business success, with a significance value of 0.118 and 0.695, respectively. It is concluded that competitive advantage is a key factor in determining business success of snack food MSMEs in Sukabumi, while entrepreneurial orientation and product innovation have no significant influence. Therefore, it is recommended that MSMEs in Sukabumi should focus more on developing competitive advantage to achieve better business success.
