Abstract

This study aims to analyze the summative evaluation of 6th grade thematic learners in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Regarding thematic learning which contains the learning process, learning assessment and learning evaluation must be based on student needs. The Summative Evaluation was carried out at the end of the semester, at SD Batujaya. This Summative Evaluation was carried out using a test technique. The technical test used is the details of the questions in the form of multiple choice and descriptions. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which tends to use analysis in the form of interviews, documentation and observations. In this online learning, the role of parents is very important in the teaching and learning process to replace a teacher in guiding student learning. The results of the study using summative evaluation in thematic learning in 6th grade elementary school are quite effective.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze student’s difficulties in discussing the material for data management for class VI. Regarding Mathematics learning related to understanding the material, discussion, student difficulties and the teacher's efforts to overcome the student's difficulties. The research method used is a qualitative research method with data collection in the form of interviews, documentation, and observations. The results of this study reveal how the difficulties in data management are (mean, median, and mode). In grade VI students, it has been seen how many students already understand and which students have difficulty understanding the learning material. Students' difficulties can be influenced by lack of attention in learning (concentration), lack of student response when participating in teaching and learning activities (reaction) and the slow thinking power of students in understanding the material.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the assessment of skills in writing narrative essays using visual media in fifth grade students at SDN Kalideres 06 Pagi. Regarding the skills of writing narrative essays, there are many obstacles faced by students, especially in expressing their ideas or thoughts in written form, students' lack of interest in reading, difficulties in determining the object of writing, difficulty in arranging the right words in standard language, and thinking that writing is something which is unpleasant. Therefore, the solution to overcome these obstacles is by using visual media because it can attract students' understanding to be skilled at writing narrative essays. This type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and test. The research subjects were teachers and students of grade V. The results obtained in this study were that students achieve the highest score of 90 and the lowest score of 55, it is important for students to increase their scores. In assessing the teacher gives scores according to indicators in writing using visual media including conformity with pictures, accuracy of the meaning of the whole story, and accuracy (words, sentences, spelling, and grammar).
