Abstract

Abstract: Improving the Role of Syariah Banking for Financing the Agricultural Enterprises. This essay attempts to discuss about the strategy for improving the role played by syariah banking in order to reach financial contribution in agricultural business. In this respect, the author argues that the roles of syariah bank could be maintained so that it can contribute more in to finance agricultural sector in the following strategies: to develop the number of syariah bank offices in agricultural environment, to deliver higher syariah financial contribution to agriculturalenterprises, to actively involve in product marketing of syariah banking finance for agricultural enterprises, to exclusively provide finance for syariah bank pertainingto agricultural enterprises, the purpose of which is minimize the potential harvesting failure.Kata Kunci: Perbankan syariah, pembiayaan, usaha pertanian

Abstract

The long term goal is to build a model of the nursery business partnerships forsustainable palm oil seedlings in order to meet the needs of oil palm seedlings in NorthSumatra. Specific targets to be achieved is to build partnerships in the nursery withnursery growers to produce quality seeds. The method used is to adopt a sustainableapproach in developing oil palm breeding in the Faculty of Agriculture UISU.Sustainable approach a synthesis of elements of ecological sustainability, economicsustainability and social sustainability / culture.Ecological sustainability is to maximize organic inputs to farming, by reducing asmuch as possible inputs inorganic. Attempts were made to provide good medium forseed planting with various organic materials such as compost, green manure andmanure, and the use of botanical pesticides. Nurseries carried out in two phases,namely pre-nursery and nursery. Economic sustainability is the nursery businessmanagement is set such that it becomes a source of income on an ongoing basisthroughout the year. Social sustainability / culture is to involve the community /farmers as seedlings and marketing partners. Abstract

Tujuan dari program pengembangan kewirausahaan (PPK) di Fakultas Pertanian (FP) Universitas Islam Sumatera Utara (UISU) adalah untuk membina, mendidik dan mengembangkan kewirausahaan bagi mahasiswa dan alumni berdasarkan spesifikasi produk dalam rangka menghasilkan wirausahawan muda yang kreatif, inovatif dan mampu bersaing dalam dunia bisnis. Sementara target spesifik adalah untuk menghasilkan pengusaha baru dengan berbagai keuntungan dari produk berbasis sumber daya lokal. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan ini melalui serangkaian kegiatan terstruktur dimulai dengan perekrutan 20 peserta, diikuti oleh pendidikan dan pelatihan manajemen bisnis, seperti manajemen produksi, manajemen pemasaran, manajemen keuangan. Peserta juga ikut serta dalam magang di industri mitra, kemudian kegiatan pengembangan produk berbasis sumber daya lokal dilakukan. Kegiatan pembinaan dan pendampingan dilakukan selama pelaksanaan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kewirausahaan pertanian berbasis sumber daya lokal lebih berfokus pada menjaga kualitas produk untuk mendapatkan pasar yang sesuai. Produk kewirausahaan tergantung pada kondisi lingkungan. Output dari kegiatan PPK diproduksi minimal 5 (lima) Pengusaha baru setiap tahunnya. Termasuk jurnal nasional dengan ISSN, publikasi di media massa, dan produk barang yang dihasilkan.

Abstract

North Sumatra Province is one of the provinces in Indonesia that places the agricultural sector as a sector that makes a major contribution to the formation of GRDP and employment. The agricultural sector contributes to the GDP of 22.04% and employment of 35.43% of the total workforce. This condition is the basis for consideration for the government to develop the agricultural sector through the superior commodity approach. This study aims to determine the direction of development of leading commodities in the agricultural sector in North Sumatra Province. The data used are primary and secondary data obtained through literature studies and interviews with experts/experts and policy makers. The selection of respondents was done intentionally. The data analysis method used is the SLQ and DLQ, ISM, and SWOT analysis methods. The results showed that the main commodities that were prioritized to be developed in North Sumatra Province were red chili, cabbage, tomatoes, eggplant, rubber, durian, salak, rubber and marine fisheries. The criteria for determining areas that are prioritized for developing superior commodities are areas that are included in quadrant I, namely those that show SLQ and DLQ values ​​greater than 1. There are 3 main criteria that affect the development of regional superior commodities, including job creation, increasing competitiveness, and providing contribution to the local economy. The direction of developing superior commodities in North Sumatra Province within the next 5 years is increasing productivity, increasing competitiveness of export-oriented leading commodities, intensification of sustainable agriculture-based agriculture, strengthening agricultural institutional regulations, strengthening supply chains, strengthening farmer competencies and capabilities, and increasing downstreaming of superior commodity products in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the condition of leadership, motivation, discipline, work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balap Estate. (2) Knowing the concept of leadership, motivation, discipline, work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balap Estate. (3) Knowing the effect of leadership, motivation, discipline, work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balap Estate. Report collection was carried out at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Balap Estate, Mandailing Natal District. The population is all employees of the Balap Estate with a total of 300 people. Withdrawal of samples using purposive sampling technique so that the total sample is 85 people. Data analysis used the Likert Scale method and the SmartPLS method.

Abstract

Food commodities are included in the volatile food category which is dominant in determininginflation because prices fluctuate so that they contribute to national and regional inflation. Thisstudy aims to analyze price stabilization and formulate policy recommendations to anticipatestrategic food commodity price fluctuations in North Sumatra province. Using weekly secondarydata, for the period January 2021-December 2022 (104 observations). Technical analysis using theARIMA model and the Coefficient of Variation. The results of the analysis with reference to pricestabilization indicators as a reference in stabilizing food supply and prices at the consumer levelindicate that there are seven commodities that need immediate intervention, namely Dry SeedSoybeans, Cooking Oil, Chicken Eggs, Pure Beef, Wheat Flour and Sugar. Sand. Alternative policiesin order to maintain the stability of food prices are (1) affordable prices, (2) availability of supplies,(3) smooth distribution and, (4) effective communication. These four strategies can be implementedin the form of (1) carrying out low-cost food market operations, (2) monitoring prices and dailysupplies carried out by the Food Officers Unit, (3) conducting food commodity bazaars before andduring the HBKN, (4) inter-governmental cooperation. Regional, (5) Efforts to provide food commodity supplies, (6) Active distribution of commodities to several markets in the North Sumatraregion, (7) Intensive coordination with TPID with the Ministry of Trade and the Economic Bureau ofthe North Sumatra Provincial Government, (8) High Level implementation TPID meetings ahead ofand during HBKN in several districts/cities of North Sumatra province, and (9) Use of RegionalIncentive Funds to increase food availability.Keywords: ARIMA, price fluctuation, coefficient of variation, price stabilization
