Abstract

Presence of lectures is an important factors to take the final exam. It is necessary to have a presence system with computer vision technology that is capable to handling problems manually. Computer vision technology used is face detection and recognition in order to monitor attendance data system. The face detection process in this study uses the Viola-Jones algorithm, and this algorithm has four stages, namely Haar Like Feature, Integral Image, Adaboost learning and Cascade classifier. The results of this study Viola-Jones algorithm successfully applied to the face detection process and in the face recognition process using the KNN (K-Nearest Neighbor) method with an accuracy rate of 94.79%.

Abstract

In order to meet the information needs of various data, it takes a data warehouse where data from data warehouse can be more useful information so that can be used in support of a decision quickly. Star Schema is one dimensional model of data warehouse that has fact tables in the middle and is surrounded by several dimension tables.

Abstract

The implementation of the charging manually lecture attendance list can give rise to various problems in monitoring students in real, spending a lot of files, and will need a room that is spacious enough for archive files lecture attendance When in a long time. Lecture attendance system the manual it's time replaced with a computerized attendance system and biometric features. In this research will be developed the system the presence of lectures based on face recognition and identification help ATMEGA32 microcontroller to open classroom. To be able to identify students facial recognition process on an image that is by using the method of Viola-Jones. From the test results, the success rate of introduction of the application of the presence of a lecture based on the identification of facial features using the methods of the Viola-jones of 89.3%. Moreover the application can store data made the presence of student coursework in database and present information in the form of lecture attendance report

Abstract

Graduation is the final stage of learning processactivities in universities. The undergraduate study period underSTMIK Bandung Bali regulation is scheduled in 8 semesters (4years) or less and a maximum of 14 semesters (7 years).Information Systems is one of the majors in STMIK Bandung Bali.The study period of this department can be influenced by manyfactors. These factors are the Kumulatid Credit Index (IPK),gender, scholarship, part-time work, Student Activity Unit (UKM).Purpose of this study was to determine the classification ofaccuracy factors. Abstract

Dam is a construction that is built to restrain rate of water into a reservoir, lake, or recreation area. Often dams are also used to drain water to a hydroelectric power plant. Most dams also have a section called the water gate to remove unwanted water gradually or continuously. Based on the existing problems, the author analyzes and designs a new system that anticipates weaknesses in the running system without causing new problems. The automatic control system for water discharge in the dam simulation uses the ATMEGA 32 microcontroller and the serial communication that the author proposes has answered the problems that arise. The automatic control system for water discharge in the dam simulation using the ATMEGA 32 microcontroller and serial communication can give good results in providing water level data in the aquarium container tested. The software used as a tool in this research is Borland Delphi7 and Arduino and the methodology used for the development of this application is the Spiral method. The results of the development of this system are expected to make it easier for the government to fix waterways.

Abstract

Sentiment analysis refers to Natural Language Processing techniques that are classified as Unsupervised Learning to identify positive, negative, or neutral opinions. Many of these opinions come through Twitter, because social media is quite effective and efficient in commenting because it can only write a maximum of 140 characters. From previous research, the value of the accuracy of the sentiment analysis carried out by one of the NLP libraries, namely TextBlob, has shown that Unsupervised Learning does not produce such good scores. With the Telkomsel service case study the writer took the dataset from Twitter and the results of the analysis with TextBlob only showed a value of 58.59%. Optimization is done by adding the Support Vector Machine method which is included in the Supervised Learning category. The best results obtained from this study are values that show 75%.

Abstract

In this research is done to know balance the position of Access Point on Wi-Fi network in Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Indonesia Tanjungpinang campus. The power of existing Wi-Fi network is not optimal in serving the entire area, so it needs to balance Access Point to get best signal quality. Network performance analysis is done by measuring the signal strength and coverage area of access point using netspot software, inSSIDer and Wireless Wizard. The netspot software is used to determine the coverage area of the access point, while the inSSIDer and Wireless Wizard software is used for wireless signal monitoring and positioning of access points for the best signal reception in the research area. From the measurement results, calculations and analysis obtained, the number of access points needed to cover an area is determined by the type of access point used. When viewed from the access point identified in the measurement area of the placement position of the access point, distance is not the only determinant of the best signal received by the user, the construction of the building made of the wall and the obstacle factors also affect the signal quality of the access point used.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi di era globalisasi sekarang ini sudah semakin pesat. Salah satu contoh hasil dari berkembangnya teknologi adalah komputer, yaitu sebuah perangkat elektronik untuk memanipulasi data yang cepat dan tepat serta dirancang dan diorganisasikan supaya secara otomatis menerima dan meyimpan data input, memprosesnya dan menghasilkan output dengan menggunakan suatu program yang tersimpan di memori komputer. Mikrokontroler merupakan sistem komputer yang seluruh atau sebagian besar elemenya dikemas dalam satu keping tunggal (chip) IC. Oleh karena itu, mikrokontroler sering disebut single chip microcomputer. Mikrokontroler biasanya dikelompokan dalam satu keluarga yang mempunyai bebrapa varian. Setiap varian mikrokontroler memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan penggunaanya, tetapi masih tetap saling mendukung dalam pemrograman (kompatibel). Tiap varian mempunyai perbedaan antara lain pada kapasitas memori RAM sebagai penampung data olahan dan memori flash PEROM sebagai penampung kode-kode program atau intruksi. Mikrokontroler tersusun dalam satu chip dimana prosesor, memori, dan I/O terintegrasi menjadi satu kesatuan kontrol sistem sehingga mikrokontroler dapat dikatakan sebagai computer mini yang dapat bekerja secara inovatif sesuai dengan kebutuhan sistem. Sistem ini dirancang dengan menggunakan RFID modul sebagai validasi member/user untuk memudahkan user dan penjaga studio musik, dan Arduino uno sebagai pusat kendali. Ketika user akan melakukan rental studio musik maka user harus memiliki RFID card, dan apabila waktu rental akan habis makan lampu pemberitahuan akan mati menandakan waktu rental telah habis, apabila user masih memiliki sisa waktu maka user dapat melakukan penyimpanan waktu rental.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the conditions of learning and teaching activities in Citizenship Education courses prior to the implementation of the development of Android-based learning media. (2) Knowing the development of IT-based learning media in STT Indonesia. The type of research used in this research is research and development research. The data source was chosen by the head of the study program, lecturers of civic education, and 8th semester students at STT Indonesia. This research was conducted in approximately 6 months. This development research resulted in the final product of learning media based on augmented reality of the history of the proclamation. Media development is developed through five stages (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). Based on the results of field trials conducted in small and large classes. The small class trial was carried out in the SI class with a random sample of 5 students, obtaining a result of 82.6%, it was concluded that this product was suitable for use. The results of the extensive trial were carried out to the IF class, SI.KA. The results obtained by 29 IF students got a response with a percentage of 78.2%, it was concluded that this product was feasible to use. Extensive trials conducted on 28 students of SI STT Indonesia Tanjungpinang received a response with a percentage of 74.7%, it was concluded that this product was quite feasible to use. Extensive trials were carried out on 29 students of the STT Indonesia Tanjungpinang KA received a response with a percentage of 87.6%, it was concluded that this product was very suitable for use. Finally, the field trial was carried out on citizenship education lecturers of STT Indonesia Tanjungpinang who received a response with a score of 92, 7%, concluded This product is very feasible to use.
