Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of formulating the drama method and its effectiveness to improve speaking skills in second semester students majoring in English Education at IAIM Metro Lampung. This study used an experimental procedure where the researcher conducted a pre-test and post-test on 2 groups (control and experiment). The population of this study were second semester students majoring in English Education at IAIM Metro with a total of 20 children, consisting of 10 children for the control group and 10 children for the experimental group.This study aims to determine the process of formulating the drama method and its effectiveness to improve speaking skills in second semester students majoring in English Education at IAIM Metro Lampung. This study used an experimental procedure where the researcher conducted a pre-test and post-test on 2 groups (control and experiment). The population of this study were second semester students majoring in English Education at IAIM Metro with a total of 20 children, consisting of 10 children for the control group and 10 children for the experimental group. The results of this study are: 1) the process of preparing the drama method to improve speaking skills at IAIM Metro Lampung requires perseverance and thoroughness with the following steps: 1-Preliminary analysis,2- Product preparation,3- Product validation,4- Product revision ,5-Product trial, 6-Design revision, 7-Product production at the final stage. 2) The average score for the control group that did not use the drama method was 53.9, while the experimental group that used the drama method was 58.4. From the results of these values, the researchers calculated to with the results of 2,482 while the t value in (t-table) with a significance level of 5% was 2.10. Then it can be seen that the calculated t value is higher than the t-table value (2,482 > 2,10). With the conclusion that the use of the drama method can improve learning speaking skills in semester 2 IAIM Metro Lampung students.

Abstract

Mind Mapping learning, that uses images and text with a purpose to describe the instructional ideas and concepts, gets lot attention by academicians. A renewal of Arabic learning method and strategy through mind mapping needs to be implemented in Arabic learning. The purpose of this study was to find out the implementation of Mind Mapping to improve students’ Arabic speaking skill. The research method used in this research was descriptive quantitative by emphasizing the improvement of students' speaking abilities and eliminating boredom in learning Arabic. The analysis process presented the results of scores carried out before and after the implementation of mind mapping in Arabic learning. The results of this study were Mind Mapping strategy was effective in learning Arabic, especially in learning speaking skills, because it gave students the courage to bring out new vocabulary they must master. The results were known from the difference between students’ attitude and effectiveness of mind mapping before using this instructional strategy. Based on the percentage results, the success rate of learning rose by 30% and the level of boredom of students in learning decreased by 35%. It means that this strategy can be implemented to improve Arabic speaking skill of students with joyful learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe how to implement fun learning Arabic speaking using kinemaster video and measure its effectiveness. This research was conducted with a grounded theory qualitative approach. The implementation of this method was carried out on students in grades VII–XI of MTs Muhammadiyah Depok. Methods of data collection included interviews (with the school) and observations (of students' learning conditions).Meanwhile, the data analysis method used three steps, namely data reduction, analysis, and conclusion. The results of this study stated that this fun learning Arabic speaking skills was stimulated by kinemaster video. All materials were included in the video of the drilling process being carried out. After the implementation of the activities, students considered Arabic to be fun, increasing their score to 67% from the initial 33% who thought that learning Arabic was fun. The incoming data said that learning Arabic was very difficult. The meaning was down from the original 65%, while those who think Arabic was boring fell to 31% from the original 69%, and the data also showed a decrease in the very monotonous Arabic learning method, which was originally 63%, now only 37%. These results indicated that the improvement of students' speaking skills should be accompanied by interesting and fun learning methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to show how to use Quizizz-based psycholinguistic evaluation in a learning evaluation and to assess its effectiveness. This study used a qualitative descriptive case study approach, which resulted in descriptive data in the form of written or spoken statements from the participants and observations of their behavior. Thus, direct interviews with students of Independent Campus Freedom To Learn are one of the data collection strategies. According to the findings of the questionnaire and interview distribution, 89 percent of respondents claimed that this evaluation was not dull but provided a lot of diversity, even if 14.3 percent said they utilized Quizizz because it didn't support the signal. Furthermore, 100% of respondents thought the learning evaluation method was not dull or monotonous. These findings suggest that Quizizz-based evaluation is a lot of fun and doesn't get boring in the classroom, and it gets students excited about learning.

Abstract

Pembentukan Bi’ah Lughowiyyah Bahasa Arab sangat berkaitan erat dengan sebuah pembelajaran bahasa Arab, khususnya pada pembelajaran maharat al-kalam (ketrampilan berbicara) merupakan keterampilan pokok yang harus dikuasai oleh para pembelajar dan merupakan salah satu tujuan akhir pembelajaran bahasa Asing. Faktor yang mendorong mahasiswa untuk mempelajari bahasa Asing adalah mereka dapat berkomunikasi dengan penutur aslin Bahasa yang dipelajarinya, termasuk sebuah komunikasi lisan. Dan apabila diklasifikasi berdasarkan segi linguistik, keterampilan bahasa Arab menjadi empat mahārāt atau keterampilan berbahasa, dan diantaranya adalah: (1) Al-Istima’ (2) Al-Kalam (3) Al-Qiroah dan (4) Al-Kitabah.. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui implementasi Pembentukan Lingkungan Bahasa Arab Berbasis “Bi’ah Lughowiyyah” Mahasiswa PBA UHAMKA (strategi dan implementasi)? Kemudian bagaimana Strategi seorang dosen dalam Pembentukan Lingkungan Bahasa Arab Berbasis “Bi’ah Lughowiyyah” Mahasiswa PBA UHAMKA khususnya pada masa pandemic saat ini? Hasil yang didapati dalam peenlitian ini adalah mereka menganggap Lingkungan Bahasa arab itu membosankan menurun menjadi 33%, dari yang awal sebanyak 67% yang menganggap bahwa pembentukan lingkungan Bahasa Arab sangat monoton dan membosankan sebanyak 47% mereka dari yang awalnya sebelum ada pembentukan Bahasa berbasis bi’ah lughowiyyah arobiyyah sebanyak 63%, sedangkan yang menganggap Lingkungan Bahasa Arab sebagai Bahasa komunikasi anak PBA dalam keseharian naik menjadi 68 % dari yang awalnya sebanyak 32%, kemudian banyak mahasiswa PBA yang berpendapat untuk Selalu memprkatekkan Bi’ah lughowiyyah Bahasa Arab dalam keseharian meningkat menjadi 63% dari yang awalnya hanya sekitar 37%. Untuk skema perkuliahanya ada beberapa tahap yang harus dilalui. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif grounded theory,, maksudnya disini adalah menggambarkan sejauh mana implementasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab ketrampilan berbicara .Pembentukan Lingkungan Bahasa Arab Berbasis “Bi’ah Lughowiyyah” Mahasiswa PBA UHAMKA

Abstract

In this researcher will try to provide one of the lessons that attracts students' attention, one of which is the implementation of the SPADA DIKTI account which attracts attention and will find out the effectiveness of the SPADA DIKTI application on this platform, the research method used qualitative research with approach data in this study were included descriptions the primary data source which is carried out with a data collection technique is more on observation. Based on the explanation and data analysis, it was found that: By using an E-Learning. This In this special education menu there are several things related to learning, starting from Homepage, My courses, Vcon, Assigment, Exams, logbook, and presences. Here the researcher will explain one by one the steps of E-Learning at this higher education, especially in learning psycholinguistics courses. In this system the teacher can see the effectiveness of a learning system, the steps in applying a learning system, especially in the E-Learning system, can also help to monitor the seriousness of students take part in learning, especially psycholinguistics starting with the application of Spada Dikti, uploading materials, evaluations and student attendance lists, all neatly and effectively in learning the SPADA DIKTI learning system.

Abstract

The aim of study was a deep understanding of the description of content validity of a LMS-Moodle Based to support learning Arabic academic writing. This research focused on tracing LMS that are suitable to be used to carry out Arabic academic writing learning in college. This study used a Research and Development method that combines two research methods to describe the validation mechanism of the LMS-Moodle Based device for learning of Arabic writing. To develop this research instrument, the researchers developed an instrument based on the IPA Matrix analysis. After developing the instrument, LMS assessment was carried out by several experts in the field of learning media who assessed the LMS used in learning Arabic academic writing. The results of this study indicated that the LMS used for learning Arabic academic writing is feasible to use based on the measurement of the matrix science.

Abstract

An irrational use of drug and drug abuse are some of the impacts of the low knowledge of the public about medicine, including vocational students. This study aimed to assess the knowledge, perceptions, and attitudes of Muhammadiyah Susukan high school (SMK) students about medicine. The research was conducted by using descriptive and analytical methods with cross sectional using a questionnaire instrument. This research was conducted in June 2020. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. The results obtained indicate that students' perceptions of drug safety are 76.7%, students have a positive attitude with drugs 91.7%, but have less knowledge (50.6%). The place where respondents live in the village has a close relationship with their level of the knowledge. There is a relationship between perception and attitude (P 0.05) but there is no relationship between knowledge and perception (P 0.05), and between knowledge and attitude (P 0.05). Low levels of knowledge and perceptions can cause students to abuse drugs or use drugs that are not rational. So that efforts are needed to increase students' knowledge about medicine.Keywords: knowledge, perceptions, attitudes about medicine, students

Abstract

This research was conducted to apply the Quizalize application to reviewing Arabic listening skills materials. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and surveys. Based on existing data, there are three steps to conducting this media review. The first step is that students must download the Quizalize application at www.quizalize.com. The second step is to describe the competencies possessed by students. The third step is the results of the assessment of listening skills. The survey answered that Quizalize is able to train students to take tests carefully so as to increase their understanding of listening. especially Arabic language skills. Survey data stated that 72.1% of the reviews using Quizalize were very pleased, while 20.4% said that reviews using the Quizalize application had to prepare a large quota. However, 7.5% are less skilled due to a lack of understanding of Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Community service activities are one of the four pillars of Muhammadiyah higher education which must be carried out by lecturers. Community service in this case is the "Al-Ab Alughowi" Arabic Game Training for Kindergarten Teachers "Aisyah Bustanul Athfal. The purpose of this activity is to increase the skills of kindergarten teachers in learning Arabic and to make Arabic learning teaching. This community service partner is the Kindergarten Teachers "Aisyah Bustanul Athfal" in Sukmajaya Depok District, while this activity is to provide training on Al-Ab Al-Lughowi. The result of this activity is that the training is carried out with 3 things, First: namely the procedures for language games, Second: discussion of the benefits of games for kindergarten children. Third: is the game practice by Aisyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten teachers. This training helps Arabic teachers to be creative and innovative in teaching Arabic at school. The results of this activity are expected to increase understanding of Arabic language games specifically for Aisyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten teachers to become additional skills for teachers.
