Abstract

Nowadays,estimated about 500 millions people (12%) of the population wolrldwide are obese. In Padang Panjang city, found obese category in adults 18 years and over as much as 37%, which is the highest prevalence compared with other districts or cities in West Sumatra. The purpose of this study was to assess factors related to obesity in adults in Padang Panjang. It is a cross sectional research. The population is the entire number of adults in Padang Panjang. The sample size is 178 people, taken by Simple Random Sampling. Data were collected by questionnaire and interview using Food Frequency Quantitative (FFQ). Data processing was done by SPSS and analyzed by Chi-square test at p value 0,05. The result showed that there were significant correlation between knowledge level (p =0,023), physical activity (p= 0,026), mean intake of energy (p=0,000)with obesity and no signiicant correlation between smoking habbits and obesity (p=0,344). We concluded that low physical activity and knowledge, as well as high energy intake were risk factors for obesity.

Abstract

Background: According to the International of Diabetic Federation there has been an increase in cases. The incidence of diabetes mellitus according to Riskesdas (2013) data increased from 1.1% in 2007 to 2.1% in 2013 from a total population of 250 million people. This research aims to carry out the process of standard nutritional care in care management clinical nutrition in diabetes millitus patients. Methods: This type of research is descriptive observational and uses purposive sampling method. Results: Patients were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, the nutritional status of obese patients and the patient's diet was high in energy and fat. Conclusion: Based on the results of monitoring and evaluation on patients and the nutritional status of obese patients, intake before and after the intervention energy deficit is heavy, moderate protein deficit, good fat and carbohydrate deficit is heavy.Keywords: Nutritional Status, Patients, Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Abstrak: Stunting adalah kondisi dimana balita memiliki panjang atau tinggi badan yang kurang jika dibandingkan dengan umur. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode brainstorming booklet dan leaflet terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita stunting di puskesmas malalak. Metode penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) dengan rancangan pretest-posttest design. Penelitian di laksanakan pada 11-25 November 2021. Populasi penelitian seluruh seluruh ibu yang memiliki balita stunting di Desa Malalak sebanyak 112 orang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 orang ibu balita, dimana terdiri dari 2 kelompok yaitu 16 orang untuk kelompok dengan metode brainstorming booklet dan 16 orang untuk kelompok dengan metode brainstorming leaflet. Hasil penelitian didapatkan selisih rata-rata pengetahuan metode brainstorming booklet 20,72 dan metode brainstorming leaflet 12,28. Sedangkan selisih sikap metode metode brainstorming leaflet 9,78 dan metode metode brainstorming booklet 23,22. Penelitian ini menggunaka uji Wilcoxon dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% didapatkan nilai p-value=0,00 yang berarti adanya perbedaan antara pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi tentang stunting pada balita. Untuk itu kegiatan penyuluhan gizi dapat diberikan sesuai dengan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana agar dapat mendukung terselenggaranya kegiatan ini agar efektif dan efisien. Kata Kunci : Pengetahuan, Sikap, Booklet, Leaflet, Stunting

Abstract

Kota Padang tahun 2009, Kecamatan Koto Tangah prevalensi Total Goiter Rate (TGR) anak sekolahnya adalah sebanyak 37,5%. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan yang dilakukan di SD 05 Padang Pasir dan SD 37 Sungai Bangek didapatkan rata rata nilai untuk mata pelajaran kelas V dan VI ke 2 SD tersebut sangat berbeda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa SD 05 Padang Pasir (lokasi di pusat kota) didapatkan rata-rata nilai yang lebih tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menilai hubungan GAKY dengan kecerdasan anak pada anak Sekolah Dasar di kota Padang tahun 2015. Disain penelitian adalah case control study. Populasi adalah seluruh anak kelas V dan VI SD 05 Padang Pasir dan SD 37 Sungai Bangek.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 80 orang, yang diambil secara Simple Random Sampling.Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan Food Frekuensi Quantitatif (FFQ) secara wawancara. Pengolahan data dilakukan secara SPSS dan dianalisis dengan uji Chi-square pada p value < 0,05.

Abstract

Sijunjung Regency in 2014 - 2015, especially koto VII subdistrict shows the number of settling that is close to 10,83%. From the preliminary survey that the researchers conducted by Anthropometry according to BB / TB Index, it was found that the nutritional status of the students was less than 35.19%, Normal nutrition was 64.77%, it showed that the students' learning ability and nutritional status were quite low. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the nutritional status of students. The research design used was analytical with Cross Sectional Study approach. This research was conducted in SDN 17 Palaluar in Koto VII Sub-district of Sijunjung Regency and the time of research implementation in Mai - July 2017. The population in this research is all students of SDN 17 Palaluar in Kecamatan Koto VII Sijunjung Regency amounted to 210 people. Sampling technique done by simple random sampling. Data were collected using 2 x 24 hour food recall form and cheklist sheet. Univariate and bivariate data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that 42.6% of children's nutritional status was abnormal, 39.7% less energy consumption, 48.5% less protein consumption, 57.4% of children did not have infectious diseases, 45.6% physical environment was not good, 63 , 2% food snack is not good, 51,5% food advertisement is not good. Statistically got relationship of energy consumption, protein, infectious diseases, physical environment, food snacks, food advertisement with nutritional status at student. It is hoped that Puskesmas will organize nutrition program of students through UKS (School Health Unit), so it can provide early information to schools about the importance of maintaining nutritional intake and nutritional status that can support student achievement. Schools can provide education and knowledge to school children about nutritious food. This research can be done by further researchers in elementary schools in other areas

Abstract

Ketidakseimbangan antara makanan yang dikonsumsi dengan kebutuhan pada remaja akan menimbulkan masalah gizi kurang atau masalah gizi lebih. Status gizi baik atau status gizi optimal terjadi apabila tubuh mendapat asupan zat gizi yang cukup.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara asupan zat gizi makro dan pengetahuan gizi dengan status gizi pada siswa MTs.S AN-NUR Kota Padang tahun 2018. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan desain Cross Section Study. Analisa bivariat dilakukan dengan uji statistik dengan menggunakan uji Chi-square dengan tingka kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian distribusi frekuensi status gizi (28,1%) berstatus tidak normal dan (71,9%) berstatus gizi normal, distribusi frekuensi asupan energi terdapat (93%) yang memiliki asupan energi cukup dan (7%) yang memiliki asupan energi kurang, distribusi frekuensi asupan protein terdapat (94,7%) yang memiliki asupan protein cukup dan (5,3%) yang memiliki asupan protein kurang, distribusi frekuensi asupan lemak terdapat (64,9%) yang memiliki asupan lemak cukup dan (35,1%) yang memiliki asupan lemak kurang, distribusi frekuensi asupan karbohidrat terdapat (94,7%) yang memiliki asupan karbohidrat cukup dan (5,3%) yang memiliki asupan karbohidrat kurang, distribusi frekuensi pengetahuan terdapat (94,7%) yang berpengetahuan gizi tinggi dan (5,3%) berpengetahuan gizi rendah. Hasil penelitian ini tidak ada hubungan antara asupan zat gizi makro dan pengetahuan gizi dengan status gizi pada siswa MTs.S AN-NUR Kota Padang tahun 2018. Untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam mempertahankan status gizi yang optimal diharapkan kepada siswa lebih memperhatikan pola makan yang seimbang dan memakan makanan yang bervariasi setiap harinya

Abstract

Masalah overweight dan obesitas penting untuk diperhatikan pada remaja karena 80% remaja berpeluang mengalami obesitas pada saat dewasa. SMA Pembangunan Kota Padang memiliki prevalensi status gizi lebih tertinggi pada tahun 2017 yaitu 22,52%. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan energi, asupan lemak, aktivitas fisik, pengetahuan gizi dan kualitas tidur dengan kejadian gizi lebih pada remaja SMA. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional study. Variabel independen (asupan energi, asupan lemak, aktivitas fisik, pengetahuan gizi, kualitas tidur) dan variabel dependen (kejadian gizi lebih) dikumpulkan dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah SQ-FFQ, kuesioner, timbangan berat badan dan microtoise. Populasi sebanyak 389 orang dan sampel 57 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji chi-square pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 28.1% siswa mengalami gizi lebih. Proporsi kejadian gizi lebih banyak ditemukan pada remaja dengan asupan energi berlebih(64.3%), asupan lemak berlebih(70%), aktivitas fisik tidak aktif (47.6%), pengetahuan gizi cukup (50.0%),dan kualitas tidur buruk (36.4%).Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan asupan energi, asupan lemak, aktifitas fisik, pengetahuan gizi dengan kejadian gizi lebih (p<0,05), dantidak terdapat hubungan kualitas tidur dengan kejadian gizi lebih (p>0.05). Disarankan kepada remaja untuk lebih memperhatikan makanan yang dikonsumsi terutama makanan yang mengandung tinggi energi dan tinggi lemak agar tidak terjadi kenaikan berat badan secara signifikan, aktif melakukan aktivitas fisik, meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi demi mencapai sikap dan tindakan positif dalam memilih makanan yang akan dikonsumsi.

Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional status that indicates a lack of intake, chronic and recurrent infectious diseases and is characterized by TB/U below (<-2SD) standard deviation according to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2005. The results of the survey on stunting in children under five, the Padang City Health Office in 2018 and 2019 it is known that the highest prevalence of stunting at the Air Children's Health Center was around 33.33% to 23.51%. This study aims to determine the relationship between exclusive breastfeeding, macro intake, micro intake, and infectious diseases in toddlers with the incidence of stunting in the work area of the Water Children Health Center in 2021.This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted in the working area of the Anak Air Health Center which was held in June-July 2021 with a total sample of 77 respondents. Sampling was done by Simple Random Sampling. The dependent variable of the study was the incidence of stunting with a microtoise/stature meter, while the independent variables were exclusive breastfeeding using a questionnaire, energy intake, protein intake, zinc intake, iron intake using the SQ-FFQ form and infectious diseases using a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi-Square test on SPSS version 26 program.The results showed that there was a significant relationship between exclusive breastfeeding (p= 0.004), energy intake (p= 0.000), protein intake (p= 0.003), zinc intake (p= 0.013), iron intake (p= 0.011). and infectious diseases (p= 0.029) with stunting in children under five in the Padang City Water Health Center in 2021.The research suggests the active role of the government, especially health workers, to tackle stunting in children under five. In addition, it is hoped that parents can pay attention to their child's nutritional intake so that the child's nutritional adequacy is fulfilled and can prevent stunting.

Abstract

Hypertension can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Every 20 mmHg increase in systolic blood pressure or 10 mmHg diastolic blood pressure. Based on data obtained from the Rawang Health Center, Sungai Penuh City, Jambi Province, the number of hypertension sufferers is 218 people in 2021. This researcher aims to determine the effect of counseling with poster media on the incidence of hypertension in elderly women. 55-64 years old in the working area of the Rawang Health Center full river city.This type of research uses Quasy Experimental which means pseudo-experiment while the design is One groups Pretest Posttest. The population of this study were all elderly women aged 55-64 years who were registered at the Rawang Public Health Center, namely 218 people. Realizing these calculations, the sample size was 68 elderly women 55-64 years old.The results of this study indicate that the average knowledge of the elderly with hypertension before counseling with hypertension poster media in the intervention group was 66.94 + 8,249 and in the control group was 65.20 + 13,490. The average knowledge of the elderly with hypertension after counseling with hypertension poster media in the intervention group was 71.00 + 9.908 and in the comparison group was 70.61 + 9.493. the average attitude of the elderly with hypertension before health education with poster media in the intervention group was 61.64 + 13.08, and in the control group was 61.44 + 12.83. the average attitude of the elderly with hypertension after health education with poster media increased in the intervention group 65.50 + 16.45 and in the control group 64.70 + 15.76.the effect of health education with poster media on hypertension management knowledge in elderly women aged 55-64 years in the intervention group and no effect of health education with poster media in the control group in the working area of the Rawang Public Health Center in Sungai Penuh City, Jambi Province.

Abstract

Background: One of the problems caused by malnutrition in pregnant women is Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). CED is a condition in which a mother experiences a chronic (chronic) lack of energy and protein. Efforts made to improve the nutrition of pregnant women with CED are by providing additional food and consuming iron (Fe) tablets. Objective: to determine the effect of giving iron tablets (fe) and food supplementation biscuits to changes in hemoglobin and LILA of pregnant women with Chronic Energy Deficiency at Pauh Padang Health Center. Methods: The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest two group design. The study was conducted in November 2021–January 2022. The sample size was calculated using the Lameshow formula and a sample of 52 people was obtained, with a total of 26 people in each group. The research was conducted by interview and observation. Data analysis to see the difference before and after the intervention using non parametric mann-whitney. Results: The results showed that there were differences in LILA in the control and treatment groups (P=0.000), there were differences inhemoglobininthecontrolandtreatmentgroups(p=0.001).Conclusion: thereweredifferences in hemoglobin and LILA in the control and treatment groups .
