Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide an understanding and also to increase the knowledge of students, especially in MAN 2 Malang City about education regarding the prevention of sexual harassment and violence as a self-help before entering the campus world. The method used is in the form of socialization. While this socialization activity is carried out in two ways, the first is the presentation of the socialization material by the resource person using the talk show method, then the second is continued with group discussions. Don't forget that at the end of the activity there is an evaluation in the form of a post-test to find out how far the students' understanding is after getting this socialization briefing. The data that the author collects are reports of activities in the field which are supported by documentation in the form of photos and videos of activities, which are then analyzed and processed to be presented descriptively in this article. The subjects of this activity were fifty students at MAN 2 Malang City consisting of twenty student council students and 30 students for each class 11 head and administrator. The implementation of this socialization activity went smoothly as planned, the students were very enthusiastic and also eager to ask various questions. By carrying out this activity, students get an idea of how to act if there are acts of harassment and sexual violence that occur around them.Tujuan dari adanya kegiatan ini yaitu untuk memberikan suatu pemahaman dan juga untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa, khususnya di MAN 2 Kota Malang mengenai edukasi seputar pencegahan pelecehan dan kekerasan seksual sebagai pembekalan diri sebelum memasuki dunia kampus. Metode yang digunakan yaitu berupa sosialisasi. Adapun kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan dua cara, yang pertama yaitu pemaparan materi sosialisasi oleh narasumber dengan metode talk show kemudian yang kedua dilanjut dengan diskusi secara berkelompok. Tidak lupa di akhir kegiatan terdapat evaluasi berupa post-test untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh pemahaman siswa setelah mendapatkan pembekalan sosialisasi ini. Data yang penulis kumpulkan yakni laporan kegiatan di lapangan yang didukung dengan dokumentasi baik berupa foto maupun video kegiatan, yang kemudian dianalisis serta diolah untuk disajikan secara deskriptif di artikel ini. Subyek kegiatan ini yaitu 50 siswa di MAN 2 Kota Malang yang terdiri dari 20 siswa OSIS dan 30 siswa tiap ketua dan pengurus kelas 11. Pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi ini berjalan dengan lancar sesuai rencana, terlihat para siswa sangat antusias dan juga bersemangat mengajukan berbagai pertanyaan. Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini, para siswa memperoleh gambaran bagaimana cara bertindak apabila terdapat tindak pelecehan serta kekerasan seksual yang terjadi di sekitar mereka.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve the capability of local tour guides in buffer villages in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) area. One of the locations chosen by the Service team is Wonokitri Village, which is located close to the tourist destination of Mount Bromo. Based on the results of field observations, there are several problems why Wonokitri Village is only able to survive as a 'transit village' which is indicated by the low occupancy of tourists staying at local guest houses. This is due to the low communication skills of local tour guides to attract both domestic and foreign tourists to stay longer in Wonokitri Village. In fact, based on the narrative of local residents, they are trying to develop other tourist objects that are expected to be able to support the local economy. Through this service activity, the Proposing Team arranged a series of mentoring and training activities for members of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Wonokitri Village, Tosari District, Pasuruan Regency. The service activities consist of first, training in communication skills for tour guides and tourism actors (owners of guest houses, stalls, and souvenir sellers). Second, assistance in making social media as a promotional media, branding as well as local tourism marketing. Finally, thirdly, English language skills training in the context of tourism for tour guides and other tourism actors. The outputs of this activity are publications in the mass media, activity documentation, scientific articles presented at national seminars, and scientific articles published in accredited national journals.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum aims to empower students with a more independent and innovative learning approach. However, the process of implementing the Independent Curriculum in sociology learning at SMAN 1 Tumpang was faced with several problems. This article aims to identify and analyze the challenges, difficulties, solutions, and strategies for implementing the Merdeka curriculum in the context of learning sociology at SMAN 1 Tumpang. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were selected using a purposive sampling technique, namely one of the Sociology teachers at SMAN 1 Tumpang who was involved in the learning process and school staff related to implementing the independent curriculum. The study results show that implementing the independent curriculum at SMAN 1 Tumpang brings several challenges that require the active role of educators in identifying the needs and abilities of individual students. Making teaching modules, teacher difficulties in implementing P5, and learning administration. In dealing with these difficulties, the Sociology teacher at SMAN 1 Tumpang took various strategic solutions, such as integrating technology in education, providing training and coaching to teachers, and creating collaboration between teachers and students.Menavigasi Arus Tantangan : Problematika Pengimplementasian Kurikulum Merdeka dalam Pembelajaran Sosiologi di SMAN 1 Tumpang - MalangKurikulum Merdeka bertujuan untuk memberdayakan peserta didik dengan pendekatan pembelajaran yang lebih mandiri dan inovatif. Namun, proses implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran sosiologi di SMAN 1 Tumpang dihadapkan pada sejumlah problematika. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tantangan, kesulitan, solusi dan strategi penerapan kurikulum Merdeka dalam konteks pembelajaran sosiologi di SMAN 1 Tumpang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yaitu salah satu guru Sosiologi SMAN 1 Tumpang yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran dan staf sekolah yang terkait dengan implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMAN 1 Tumpang membawa sejumlah tantangan yang memerlukan peran aktif tenaga pendidik dalam mengidentifikasi kebutuhan dan kemampuan siswa secara individual, tidak hanya itu berbagai kesulitan juga muncul diantaranya yaitu sulit mengubah kebiasaan siswa yang dituntut belajar mandiri, kesulitan dalam pembuatan modul ajar, kesulitan guru dalam penerapan P5, serta kesulitan dalam melakukan administrasi pembelajaran. Dalam menghadapi berbagai kesulitan tersebut, guru Sosiologi SMAN 1 Tumpang mengambil berbagai solusi strategis, seperti mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, memberikan pelatihan dan pembinaan kepada guru, dan menciptakan kolaborasi antara guru dan siswa.
