Abstract

Passengers show great interest and comfort in using mobile devices to plan and book flights. By launching website and mobile application, Singapore Airlines will become a well-known brand in the society. More people will look for the airlines and use the app which is expected to increase their sales. The purpose of the research is to find out how Singapore Airlines mobile application will impact their ticket sales by doing comparative analysis and analyzing their Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of total tickets issued before and after they launch the mobile application. CAGR of tickets issued before Singapore Airlines mobile application launched is 0.51%, and 1.16% after they launched the mobile application. From comparative analysis, t-obs as -2.748 and t-table as 2.201 to -2.201 with correlation value 0.45. There is difference between total of ticket issued in Singapore Airlines in Jakarta office for Jakarta – Singapore route before and after Singapore Airlines mobile application launched with moderate level of correlation of mobile application impact to increasing of their ticket sales.

Abstract

The research was conducted at PT Satyamitra Surya Perkasa (PT.SSP) in Jakarta. The purpose of the research is to find out the flow of imported goods procurement in PT. SSP in 2017. This is an action research where the researchers can describe, interpret, and define a situation by changing…The data used in this study was qualitative data. The data was taken by interviewing and doing library research. The scheduler with exact time work duration and high probability for success was resulted from the implementation of CPM PERT critical flow and bar chart scheduling. This study analyzes the data from the process of procuring imported goods from the initial project request to the fulfillment of the material procurement head office which will eventually be used for project needs. The critical trajectory analysis using the PERT and Network Diagram CPM methods can indicate that the procurement of imported goods that have been analyzed normally in the day is 65 days after the assessment is conducted both in terms of time and expenditure of company funds for goods demand, goods ordering, customs clearance, shipping loading and unloading document and trucking, the time can be shortened to 45 days, and has a major impact on the development needs of the 2017 Lontar PLTU project.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal is a subsidiary of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II, which was established specifically to serve the cargo vehicle, according to the demand from the automotive industry in Japan. The purpose of this research was to determine the level of utilization or the current flurry of loading and discharging activity in international docks at PT. Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal. By using qualitative methods and queue theory, is clearly visible that the utilization rate at the time of loading activity was 15% (p), 24.23 units / hour (λ), 144.84 units / hour (μ), while the utilization rate at the time of discharging activity by 10% (p), 12.99 units / hour (λ), 125.23 units / hour (μ). Its proves that the current utilization rate of loading and discharging activities in the international docks is low (under-utilized), so it needs to increase vehicle traffic in order to increase the utilization rate.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the strategy of Damri transport service route Serpong – Soekarno Hatta International Airport. The method used SWOT analysis using IE (Internal-External) matrix, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation) which has total score of 3.51 and  EFE (External Factor Evaluation) with total score of 3.55. Samples taken from 8 (eight) staff of PERUM DAMRI in Soekarno Hatta Airport branch. It is in quadrant I of IE matrix which still increase and advance. The strategies needed to be applied are market elaboration and product development. Based on SWOT analysis using internal and external table analysis, the route is in quadrant I which has the Strength score of 4.07 and the Weakness score of 2.55 that create the difference of those internal factors of 1.52. On the other hand, the Opportunity score is 3.86 and the Threat score is 3.23 that construct the difference of those external factors of 0.63. The conclusion is the company is in solvent position that has positive strength and opportunity. The company could apply S-O strategy of SWOT matrix which uses the most of strength and opportunity factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the transport waiting line / vehicle queue at toll gate of Cibubur Utama. The analysis method used was Multiple Server Queue System - single stage. Based on the calculation and analysis obtained service time at the main cibubur toll gate is  9.064 seconds / vehicle. At the average level of business (r) reached 70 %. Peak Hours condition reached 170 % means that it is more than Over Utilized. Low Hours condition reached 39 %. The average number of vehicles queuing up (Lq) on average condition is 0.0241 vehicles. Peak Hours condition is 158 vehicles. Low Hours condition is 0.00003 vehicles. Average time vehicle queue (Wq) on average condition is for 0.028 seconds. Peak Hours condition is for 77 seconds. Low Hours condition is 0.00007 seconds. The average number of vehicles in the system (L) on the average condition is 7 vehicles. The condition of Peak Hours is 177 vehicles. Low Hours condition is as many as 4 vehicles. Average vehicle time is in system (W) at average condition for 9.092 seconds, Peak Hours condition for 86 seconds, and Low Hours condition for 9.064 seconds. In Peak Hours condition, the capacity of the main cibubur toll gate is not able to accommodate the number of vehicle arrival rates.
