Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the Treffinger learning biocard. onstudents' creative thinking skills. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with Nonquivalent Control Group. The study population was all class XI MIA SMAS PAB 8 Saentis with a sample of class XI MIA 2 as the experimental class taught with the Treffinger assisted by biocards and XI MIA 1 as the control class taught with the problem based learning model. The research instrument was a 20 item essay test of creative thinking skills on the excretory system material. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical.analysis descriptive statistical showed that the average value of creative thinking skills of students who were taught using the Treffinger learning biocards was higher than the problem based learning model. analysis inferential statistical learning model Treffinger assisted by biocards effect on students' creative thinking skills.Keywords creative thinking skills, Treffinger learning model, biocard, excretion system material.Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh biocard pembelajaran Treffinger. kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuasi experimen dengan tipe Non-equivalent Control Group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI MIA SMAS PAB 8 Saentis dengan sampel kelas XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar dengan Treffinger berbantuan biocard dan XI MIA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajar dengan model problem based learning. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes keterampilan berpikir kreatif esai 20 butir materi sistem ekskresi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa yang diajar menggunakan biocard pembelajaran Treffinger lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah. analisis statistik inferensial model pembelajaran Treffinger berbantuan biocards berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa.Kata kunci keterampilan berpikir kreatif, model pembelajaran Treffinger, biocard, materi sistem ekskresi. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v23i2.pp723-732

Abstract

Gunung Sibuatan adalah gunung yang paling tinggi di Sumatera Utara yang dijadikan sebagai salah satu tujuan wisata para pendaki. Banyaknya pendakian yang dilakukan ke Gunung sibuatan membuat keberadaan hutan terancam. Salah satunya adalah keberadaan anggrek terestrial yang tumbuh di jalur pendakian sehingga sangat perlu dilakukan pendataan. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mengetahuai keanekargaman anggrek terestrial di kawasan hutan lindung gunung Sibuatan. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksplorasi, waktu penelitian dilakukan pada Juli-Agustus 2020. Penelitian dilakukan di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Sibuatan Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo, Provinsi Sumatera Utara sesuai habitat anggrek terestrial. Berdasarkan eksplorasi yang telah dilakukan terdapat 12 jenis anggrek terestrial. Adapun jenis anggrek terestrial yang ditemukan di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Gunung Sibuatan Kecamatan Merek, Kabupaten Karo, Provinsi Sumatera Utara adalah Anoectochilus longicalcaratus, Gastrodia siamensis, Calanthe chrysoglossoides, Erythrodes blumei, Cymbidium hartinahianum, Platanthera angustata, Dendrochilum lepidum, Eria crassipes, Coelogyne longifolia, Eria sp., Trichotosia ferox dan  Cymbidium lancifolium.

Abstract

Painted terrapin (Batagur borneoensis) is a critically endangered freshwater turtle that has an annual migration behavior from freshwater rivers to the coast during the breeding season. In the habitat selection, painted terrapin also have a tendency that is influenced by certain factors to meet their needs. This underlies the possible of environmental characteristics influence on their nesting site selection and the eggs production. This study aims to determine the correlation between eggs amount that obtained from each nest with : 1) distance of nesting site from vegetation, 2) distance between each nests, 3) distance nesting site from coastline, and 4) the slope of nesting site. Data collected by observation in the field and using Purposive sampling method to determine 4 research stations. Data was analyzed with multiple linear regression analysis by using IBM SPSS 22. The results showed the types of vegetation around the nesting sites were Casuarina sp., Ipomoea pes-caprae, Cyperus sp., Scaevola taccada, Thespesia populnea and Avicennia sp. The result showed the average of distance between nesting site is  90.7±124.4 meters, the average distance of nesting site to vegetation about 2.5 ± 3.8 meters, the average distance of nest to the coastline is  4.6±2.7 meters, the average slope of the nesting sites about 10.7°±3.1°, and the average number of eggs is 16.9±3.1 eggs. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the eggs amount is not influenced by the distance of nesting site from coastline, the distance to each nesting site, the distance of nesting site with vegetation and the slope of nesting site.
