Abstract

Sukorambi Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency, which is rich in local potential, especially abundant natural resources and is very strategic in improving local product management (UMKM). and compete with other products, thus, development and empowerment in Sukorambi District is important to improve the quality, production and marketing of UMKM products in Sukorambi Village. Empowerment activities that are expected to help the development of UMKM and are sustainable are achieved so that the products marketed are able to compete with other products. Therefore, Solutions to Problems in developing local UMKM products in Sukorambi Village use a Collaborative Governance approach, which offers the concept of empowerment by involving various stakeholders or multidimensional, this concept places the community as the subject of empowerment so that the program to be carried out truly answers community problems, development UMKM local products involve the community, village government, and the private sector.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang Komunikasi Pemasaran Wisata Baru dalam Memadukan Sebuah Konsep Wisata Alam Serta Edukasi di Desa Kemiri Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan potensi wisata yang dimiliki setiap daerah masing-masing sehingga dengan dibentuknya sebuah wisata baru tersebut bisa membantu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar wisata, serta bisa menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan dan juga bisa memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat luas mengenai keunggulan dan keunikan yang dimiliki pada tempat destinasi wisata yang ada di Kabupaten Jember. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori umum dari Cutlip and Center dan juga teori pendukung promotion mix dari Kotler (2001:98). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif Deskriptif. Yang menjadi objek penelitian ini yaitu Wisata Baru pada Desa Kemiri. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan 4 informan diantaranya yaitu pengelola wisata, karyawan yang bertugas dipemasaran dan dua orang pengunjung. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Desa Wisata Kemiri ini dalam proses pemasaran menggunakan langkah-langkah yang ada pada teori promotion mix, sehingga pemasaran yang dilakukan untuk wisata baru tersebut bisa secara maksimal. Walaupun dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dalam menjalankan pemasaran tersebut masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang dialami.

Abstract

Stunting has become a severe problem and has become a global issue. The condition of stunting is malnutrition which can hamper the physical development and intelligence of children, so that it will impact the quality of life in the future. Resolving stunting takes a very long time. It requires changes in behaviour, mindset, and strong political commitment from stakeholders. Understanding stunting is not only a health issue, but also covers a broader aspect. Stunting is a multidimensional issue closely related to social, economic, and educational inequality. The government has carried out many programs or policies to deal with stunting, significantly strengthening assistants or cadres at the village level. This effort aims to provide education and assistance in handling stunting, especially for prospective brides, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and toddlers. In addition to strengthening assistants in the field, the community can support the Dapur Sehat Atasi Stunting (DASHAT) institution. DASHAT is a community participation-based program to encourage balanced nutrition for families at risk of stunting by strengthening local food sources. Community service activities occur in Suci Village, Panti District, Jember Regency. Community service activities are carried out with DASHAT education and assistance by encouraging the strengthening of local food for families at risk of stunting. This activity uses a people-driven centre approach. Through this approach, participants identify and develop local food-based menus that can be used to fulfil balanced nutrition to overcome stunting. This activity can explain to at-risk families that if appropriately processed, local food sources can produce nutritious food.
