Abstract

Karang taruna Woila yang menjadi mitra PKM tidak memiliki aktifitas produktif, padahal terdapat potensi anggrek serat endemik Sulawesi Tenggara yang hanya ditemukan di daerah ini. Tujuan kegiatan adalah melakukan (1) edukasi tentang organisasi karang taruna dan peluang usaha, (2) sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang anggrek serat dan tehnik kultur jaringan, serta (3) pelatihan dan praktik kultur jaringan. Kegiatan PKM yang bermitra dengan Karang Taruna Woila diawali dengan sosialisasi untuk mengenalkan kegiatan yang akan dilakukan di Kelurahan Woitombo, Kecamatan Mowewe, Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Selain Tim PKM dan peserta dari anggota Karang Taruna Woila sejumlah 16 orang, juga hadir Sekretaris Camat dan Camat Mowewe, serta Kepala SMA Negeri 1 Mowewe. Pemaparan materi dilakukan oleh Tim PKM UHO dengan dua materi pokok, yaitu tentang (1) organisasi karang taruna dan peluang usaha; serta (2) anggrek serat, dan tehnik kultur jaringan. Untuk menguji pengetahuan dan persepsi peserta , dilakukan pre-test sebelum penyampaian materi, dan post-test setelah penyampaian materi. Kegiatan selanjutnya adalah pelatihan dan praktek tehnik kultur jaringan yang diikuti oleh empat orang anggota karang taruna terpilih di Laboratorium Invitro Fakultas Pertanian UHO di Kota Kendari dan di Laboratorium Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura (BBIH) Sulawesi Tenggara.di Konawe Selatan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah kegiatan PKM ini (1) didukung oleh pemeritah setempat, dan SMA Negeri 1 Mowewe, (2) setelah mengikuti sosialisasi dan edukasi, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, dan minat untuk melakukan budidaya anggrek serat, khususnya mengikuti pelatihan kultur jaringan, dan (3) pelatihan dan praktek kultur jaringan anggrek serat endemik Sulawesi Tenggara berhasil dilakukan oleh anggota Karang Taruna Woila.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) supply chain path, and (2) the performance of a supply chain commodity peanut Muna Regency. Sampling method used in this research was simple random sampling and snowball sampling. Supply chain path analyzed in qualitative descriptive. Supply chain performance is analyzed with a model approach to Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR). The results showed that members of the supply chain consists of peanut farmers, village collector (PPD), Sub-district collector (PPK) and inter-insular traders (PAP). There are three pathways of a supply chain that is a path I: farmer → PPD → PAP; path II: farmer → PPK → PAP; and path III: farmer → PAP. Abstract

Sago is a potential source of food with high calories and carbohydrates (rice equivalent). Sago consumer preferences can provide important information in making marketing strategy sago, and also is one of the indicators of market demand for the products of sago. The purpose of this study were to understand the srage of the purchase decision process undertaken by consumers of sago; analyze the level of customer satisfaction with sago attributes associated from sago; and analyze the consumer preference for various atrributes inherent in sago. The study was conducted in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Respondents were all members of a population of 21 respondents consisting of 15 restaurant owners who provide meals made from sago and 6 owners agro-industry made from raw sago. The study used Engel Model Analysis, Costumer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Analysis, and Conjoint Analysis. The results of the analysis gives an overview of some consumer behavior based on the decision-making process shows that the benefits sought in the purchase buy sago sago is as a raw material to be processed into a menu of traditional food and traditional cakes Kendari. Color sago is the main thing, which will be seen and considered by consumers to make purchases between and will buy sago in traditional markets as close to the place of business. The level of consumer satisfaction in this study were satisfied with the preference category that consumers like sago with normal color (pure white), normal scent (odorless), low prices and package sizes are 20 kg. The resulting combination of sago four attributes (color, flavor, price and package sizes) is acceptable to describe consumers' desire sago in Kendari. Abstract

The preference of quail egg’s consumer could be determined by measuring the consumer choice.  This preference could illustrate the attribute of quail egg that could be produced by producer and accepted by consumer.  The aims of this study were to analyze the attitude and behavior of the customer in case of buying quail egg, analyze the level of self interest and satisfaction of the customer to the quail egg attribute, and analyze the customer preference on a variety of the quail egg attributes. Data collected in Kendari, South East Sulawesi and were analyzed using Fishbein Multiattribute Attitude analysis, IPA analysis (Importance Performance Analysis), and Conjoint Analysis.  The result of Fishbein Multiattribute Attitude Analysis indicated that the 61,91% consumers were fond of quail egg. In average, the acceptabiity of the customer to the quail egg was ‘quite good’ and the behavior of the customer was consistent but they to re-buy the quail egg. While the result of IPA analysis (Importance Performance Analysis) showed that the most important and the most satisfine attribute of quail egg for customer was colourful attribute. The result of Conjoint Analysis revealed that the preference of the quail egg customer in Kendari City was the quail egg with low price, seasonal availability, less than 10 gram in weight, colourful and unpacking. Abstract

Product syrup varies make consumers have different perceptions in choosing syrup products as they wish. Product attributes include marketing stimuli that can affect consumer perception. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of coconut water taste syrup according to consumer perceptions. The design of this study is the experimental method and descriptive with the stage of product testing laboratory scale and descriptive analysis. A test to determine the composition of flavors preference by consumers conducted by 25 panelists with two replications. Parameters measured were the taste, color, aroma and texture. The results show that the composition according to the taste of the consumer perception is coconut flavors syrup cocopandan water and adding sugar to 65% with an average value of 3.56. The average value of each attribute is a sense of 3.54, 3.72 color, aroma 3,58 and texture 3.56.Keywords: taste, coconut water syrup, Perception.

Abstract

Meningkatnya permintaan makanan untuk menjaga imunitas seperti jahe hingga 50% merupakan fenomena baru pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Jahe merupakan tanaman biofarmaka yang memiliki kandungan shogaol dan gingerol yang terbukti dapat meningkatkan sistem imun tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan jahe dan untuk mengetahui respon permintaan jahe pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di Kota Kendari. Metode penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan accidental sampling dan diperoleh sampel penelitian sebanyak 50 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan jahe adalah harga jahe, harga kencur dan harga temulawak, sedangkan harga kunyit berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan jahe. Variabel pendapatan konsumen, jumlah anggota keluarga dan variabel dummy (alasan membeli jahe) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan jahe. Respon permintaan jahe akibat perubahan harga jahe itu sendiri, perubahan harga kunyit, harga kencur, harga temulawak dan perubahan jumlah anggota keluarga bersifat tidak elastis. Respon permintaan jahe akibat perubahan pendapatan konsumen bersifat elastis. Pengukuran seberapa jauh reaksi perubahan kuantitas terhadap perubahan harga dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya merupakan informasi penting mengingat dalam analisis ekonomi baik secara teori maupun praktek sangat berguna untuk mengetahui sejauhmana sensitivitas permintaan suatu komoditas terhadap perubahan harga maupun perubahan faktor-faktor lainnya yang terkait.
