Abstract

ENGINEERING FEED THROUGH BIOFERMENTATION AGAINST WASTE FISH CARCAS PRECENTAGE AND LENGTH OF INTESTINE IN BROILER CHICKENS   ABSTRACT The fulfillment of the purposes of the ration is currently experiencing difficult times due to high raw material prices, thereby impacting on the price of feed, particularly poultry rations. Utilization of fishery waste into feed material can give importance to livestock production, one of which allows to be used as an alternative feed ingredient is fish waste as silage. This study aims to determine the effect of fish waste silage on the growth of broiler chickens. DOC broiler study subjects unsex tail number 96. The study treatment consisted of P0 (commercial ration / control), P1 (commercial ration + 2.5% fish waste silage), P2 (commercial ration + 5% fish waste silage), P3 (commercial ration + 7.5% silage waste fish), with four replications. Experimental design is completely randomized design (CRD), the experimental results were analyzed by ANOVA followed by Duncan test. Results of this study was no effect of fish waste silage to the percentage of carcasses and gut length (P> 0.05).   Keywords: Carcass, Guts, Broiler. ABSTRAK Pemenuhan keperluan ransum saat ini mengalami masa yang sulit akibat mahalnya harga bahan baku, sehingga berdampak terhadap harga ransum, khususnya ransum unggas. Pemanfaatan limbah perikanan menjadi bahan pakan dapat memberikan arti penting bagi produksi peternakan, salah satu diantaranya yang memungkinkan untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pakan alternatif adalah limbah ikan sebagai silase. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian silase limbah ikan terhadap pertumbuhan ayam broiler. Subyek penelitian DOC broiler sejumlah 96 ekor unsex. Perlakuan penelitian ini terdiri dari P0 (Ransum komersial/kontrol), P1 (Ransum komersial + 2,5 % silase limbah ikan), P2 (Ransum komersial + 5 % silase limbah ikan), P3 (Ransum komersial + 7,5 % silase limbah ikan), dengan 4 ulangan. Desain percobaan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), hasil percobaan dianalisis dengan ANOVA dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tidak ada pengaruh pemberian silase limbah ikan terhadap presentase karkas dan panjang usus (P > 0,05).   Kata kunci : Karkas, Usus, Broiler.

Abstract

OPTIMIZATION OF FEED ADDITIVE ON BODY WEIGHT, ABDOMINAL FAT, AND BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVELS BROILER CHICKEN ABSTRACT   Culture to consume a healthy food as the factor that is very important to produce high-quality human resources.  Broiler chicken is one of food consumed widely, as a source of proteins and fats in large numbers in indonesia for all age (kids and adults). This research aims to  assess the optimization of the feed additive on body weight and blood glucose. The independent variable is giving a variant of feed additive herbs (Aloe vera sp, Morinda citrifolia sp, and Zingiber officinale sp). Dependent variable is body weight, abdominal fat, and blood glucose levels. Variable control of this research is the number of feed, health management, the type of chicken, the age of chicken, and  the system of cage. Some preliminary research has been done by researchers at various variant feed additive herbs to produce broiler chicken with the status of the physiology and performans ideal optimally. The results of this research shows the influence of treatment variant feed additive on increased body weight (P<0,05), There is the influence of treatment against the low blood glucose levels (P<0,05), and no influence treatment of abdominal fat (P>0,05).   Keyword: body weight, abdominal fat, blood glucose, feed additive, broiler   ABSTRAK   Budaya mengkonsumsi pangan yang sehat menjadi faktor yang sangat penting untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia Indonesia yang berkualitas. Ayam broiler merupakan salah satu pangan yang dikonsumsi secara luas, sebagai sumber protein dan lemak dalam jumlah besar di Indonesia untuk semua usia (anak-anak maupun dewasa). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji optimalisasi feed additive terhadap performans terhadap bobot badan dan penstabilan glukosa darah. Variabel independen adalah pemberian varian feed additive herbal (lidah buaya, buah mengkudu, jahe). Variabel dependen terdiri dari bobot badan, lemak abdominal, dan kadar glukosa darah ayam. Variabel kendali penelitian ini adalah jumlah ransum, manajemen kesehatan, jenis ayam, umur ayam, dan sistem perkandangan. Beberapa penelitian pendahuluan telah dilakukan oleh peneliti pada berbagai varian feed additive herbal untuk menghasilkan ayam broiler dengan status fisiologi ideal dan performans yang optimal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada pengaruh perlakuan varian feed additive terhadap peningkatan bobot badan (P<0,05), ada pengaruh perlakuan terhadap rendahnya kadar glukosa darah (P<0,05), dan tidak ada pengaruh perlakuan terhadap lemak abdominal (P>0,05).   Kata kunci: Bobot badan, lemak abdominal, glukosa darah, feed additive, Broiler

Abstract

EFFECT OF SNAIL IN FLOUR on diet AGAINST TO BODY WEIGHT AND THE CONTENT OF CARCASS FAT DUCK (Anas javanicus)   ABSTRACT Research aims to know influence granting meal snail in diet against body weight and a fat content carcass ducks (Anas javanicus) in maintenance intensively. This research held in area farm district Brebes. Research done in two months. Methods used in this research is draft random complete with five treatment and four repetition namely P1 (control), 100 % diet + 0 flour snail, P2: 95 % diet + 5 % flour snail, P3: 90 % diet + 10 % flour snail, P4: 85 % diet + 15 % flour snail, P5: 80 % diet + 20 % flour snail. Results obtained dianalisis by test normality then test homogenity and continued with anova test and Duncan. The result showed that the flour snail in rations influential significantly to body weight and a fat content carcass ducks (Anas javanicus) in maintenance intensively (P<0,05). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di area peternakan Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 2 bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan lima perlakuan dan empat pengulangan yaitu P1 (kontrol), 100% ransum +  0% tepung bekicot, P2: 95% ransum +  5% tepung bekicot, P3 : 90% ransum +  10% tepung bekicot, P4: 85% ransum + 15% tepung bekicot, P5 : 80% ransum + 20% tepung bekicot. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisi dengan uji normalitas kemudian uji homogenitas dan dilanjutkan dengan uji ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian tepung bekicot dalam ransum berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap bobot badan dan kandungan lemak karkas itik (Anas javanicus) dalam pemeliharaan intensif. Abstract

BROILER PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION OF PERCENTAGE OF HERBAL SUPPLEMENTATION THROUGH AND CARCASS BLOOD TRIGLYCERIDE LEVELS   ABSTRACT People appreciate meat products free antibiotics or organic food products. Prevention of chemical substance in the broiler chicken meat can be done by mixing feed ingredients with herbal, with the addition of herbal powders like turmeric, ginger, and  basil. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of herbal supplementation on carcass percentage and blood triglyceride levels  broiler. his research uses three kinds of herbs that is turmeric (P1), Basil (P2), and Ginger (P3). There are four treatment including control (P4), with four replicates. The design of this research is complete a draft random. The research results were analyzed with Anova test followed by Duncan test. The results showed there was a very real influence due to the addition of herbs to the percentage of carcass  (P<0,01). The levels of triglyceride of blood a broiler indicating the result is no different real (P>0,05). Pencegahan penumpukan zat kimia dalam daging ayam broiler tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan pencampuran pakan dengan bahan-bahan herbal atau alami, yaitu dengan penambahan serbuk herbal seperti kunyit, jahe, dan kemangi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi herbal terhadap persentase karkas dan kadar trigliserida darah ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga macam herbal yaitu kunyit (P1), kemangi (P2), dan jahe (P3). Ada empat perlakuan termasuk kontrol (P4), dengan empat ulangan.  Rancangan penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak lengkap. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan Anova, dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang sangat nyata pemberian herbal terhadap persentase karkas (p<0,01). Paramater kadar trigliserida darah menunjukkan hasil tidak berbeda nyata (P>0,05). Abstract

The fat content has been known to vary so that the physical quality of meat is largely determined by its fat content. The purpose of this study was to determine the skin fat content of various types of chicken consumption. The study was conducted for 1 day at the AsriPlamongan Indah Semarang Housing, and UNDIP's animal husbandry laboratory to examine the skin fat content. The research subjects consisted of 12 chickens consisting of 3 broilers, 3 laying hens, 3 native chickens, 3 male chickens. The research variable is skin fat. The data obtained were analyzed using 5% ANOVA. The results of the study had a significant effect (P> 0.05) of 4 types of chicken on skin fat. Conclusion The fat content of chicken skin in various types of chicken consumption has different levels

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and study the techniques of tonic immobility, rectal temperature and meat moisture content of broilers. The subjects in the study were 100 unsex DOCs. The design used in this study was Complete Random Injection (CRD) with a 3 x 2 factorial pattern with herbal herbal factorial as many as 3 levels, while factor B treated 2 times with 4 replications, each replication of 4-5 broiler chickens. In this case J (2%) C1: feed commercial ration + ginger 2% + light 1L: 3D, J (2%) C2: feed commercial ration + ginger 2% + light 1L: 2D, K (0.2%) C1: feed commercial ration + turmeric 0.2% + light 1L: 3D, K (0.2%) C2: feed commercial ration + 0.2% turmeric + light 1L: 2D, S (3%) C1: feed ration commercial + bay leaves 3% + light 1L: 3D, S (3%) C2: feed commercial rations + leaves greetings 3% + light 1L: 2D. The research variables studied were the technique of tonic immobility, rectal temperature and broiler meat moisture content. The data obtained were then analyzed using variance (ANOVA) with a level of 5%, the results showed no significant effect (P> 0.05) of the six techniques on incompetence and energy intensity, there was a significant effect (P <0.05). ) the six faces of broiler meat water content.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik limbah ayam broiler dengan feed additive herbal dan intermittent lighting terhadap bobot badan dan panjang lele. Subyek penelitian DOC, sejumlah 96 ekor unsex dan lele 600 ekor. Perlakuan penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dengan 4 kali ulangan. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Perlakuan yang diterapkan JC1(pakan komersial+ 2 % jahe + pencahayaan 1L : 3D), JC2 (pakan komersial + 2 % jahe + pencahayaan  1L : 2D), KC1 (pakan komersial + 0,2 % kunyit + pencahayaan 1L : 3D), KC2 (pakan komersial + 0,2% kunyit + pencahayaan 1L : 2D), dan kontrol (pakan komersial). Teknik pengumpulan data, semua data diambil pada minggu ke 8 sejak pemeliharaan lele. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan Analisis of Variance (ANAVA), dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Ganda Duncan (UJGD). Hasil penelitian pemberian probiotik dari kotoran ayam yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan perlakuan feed additive herbal dan intermittent Lighting tidak ada pengaruh terhadap bobot badan dan panjang badan pada lele (P>0,05).
