Abstract

The Information Technology Study Program laboratory, located on the Aceh Polytechnic campus, is a place of practice for Information Technology Study Program students. This laboratory is often also used by guests for training or testing. Therefore, to make it easier for guests to see the details of the room, an Augmented Reality application for the Android-based Information Technology study program was built as a promotional tool and learning media. This application makes it easy for guests to find out the shape of the room, find out the contents of the room and explain videos about the Information Technology study program using a smartphone. Making this application using Blender software is used to create a three-dimensional model of the room, while Unity software is used to create applications.

Abstract

Natural science lessons have been taught to elementary school students. In natural science lessons, there are various kinds of materials, one of which is the photosynthesis system. There are many misconceptions in conveying material using the lecture method and printed book media. Based on these problems, the role of interactive multimedia is expected to help the teaching and learning process of agriculture become easier to understand by presenting it in the form of visuals, sound and moving images. The photosynthesis animation application was designed using Adobe Illustrator to create images, Adobe After Effects and Unity to create animations and visual effects. Based on the average evaluation results on this application, elementary school students more easily understand photosynthesis material by more than 85%.

Abstract

In previous research, if there was a power outage from PLN, the electrical system in the package receiving box experienced problems, so that the package courier could not access the package receiving box. The purpose of making this tool is to overcome electrical supply failures in IoT-based package receiving boxes. The system designed uses voltage sensors connected to each source of electrical energy from PLN, Photovoltaic (PV) and also batteries. After that, the voltage sensor gives a signal to the Arduino for the switching process to be carried out on each source of electrical energy. This system works, if there is a power outage from PLN, the electrical energy is supplied via PV. If the PV voltage is not sufficient, the electrical system will be supplied via batteries, so that the electrical energy in the package receiving box will always be available and can work even if there is a power outage from PLN. Based on the hybrid system test results, it was found that the voltage sensor works by detecting voltage from each source of electrical energy. When the voltage sensor does not detect a voltage source from PLN, the system will switch to PV, when the voltage sensor on the PV detects a voltage below 10 Volts, then the system will switch to battery.

Abstract

The tourism industry which is experiencing significant growth offers great potential to stimulate the economy of a region. This research aims to design and develop a web-based tour package application as a tourism promotion tool. This application uses the PHP programming language, uses the Laravel framework, and is integrated with the MySQL database. This application is designed to make it easier for users to find tour packages that suit their needs. Tourists can use this system to find out more detailed information regarding the list of available tour packages and make tour package orders. The stages in developing this application include stages such as needs analysis, interface design, system development using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework, integration with the MySQL database, testing, and implementation.
