Abstract

Faktor terpenting bagi anak untuk mengapresiasikan emosi mereka salah satunya adalah bahasa. Bahasa bagi anak dapat diperoleh melalui banyak faktor salah satunya dari pengalaman sehari-hari. Usia prasekolah memasuki fase pemahaman terhadap simbol termasuk bahasa, sehingga dibutuhkan metode untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak. Mendongeng merupakan salah satu metode yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa anak, karena dalam mendongeng terjadi proses mendapatkan kosa kata baru, mengevaluasi serta memahami informasi baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh mendengarkan dongeng terhadap kemampuan bahasa pada anak prasekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 orang siswa/i PAUD/KB Bunda Aini dengan rentang usia 5 sampai 6 tahun. Analisa data menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa mendengarkan dongeng berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap kemampuan bahasa pada anak prasekolah, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p = 0,000.Kata kunci: Anak prasekolah, Mendengarkan dongeng, Kemampuan BahasaThe most important factor for children to appreciate their emotions one of which is language. Preschool entered a phase of understanding of symbols including the language, so we need a method to improve the language skills of children. Storytelling is one method that can be used to improve the language skills of children, because in storytelling process occurs to get a new vocabulary, evaluate and understand the new information. This study aims to determine the effect on the ability to listen to storytelling in the language of preschool children. This study was an experimental study using a design pretest-posttest control group design with sampling using purposive sampling method. Subjects numbered 30 students of PAUD/KB Bunda Aini  an age range of 5 to 6 years. Abstract

Abstrak. Pada zaman yang semakin canggih ini penggunaan gadget tidak terbatas pada kalangan orang dewasa saja melainkan anak-anak juga telah menggunakan gadget. Gadget digunakan untuk membantu memenuhi segala kebutuhan salah satunya adalah kebutuhan mencari hiburan dengan bermain game, yang dengan mudah bisa dimainkan dengan menggunakan internet. Penggunaan internet untuk bermain game secara terus menerus dan mengakibatkan dampak negatif bagi dirinya akan menyebabkan internet gaming disorder. Tingginya tingkat internet gaming disorder pada anak dapat diatasi, salah satunya dengan memberikan pelatihan kontrol diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan konrol diri sebagai metode eksperimen dalam mengurangi tingkat internet gaming disorder pada anak usia sekolah serta melihat seberapa besar pengaruh perlakuan pada tingkat internet gaming disorder. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian eksperimen dengan desain control group pre-test post-test. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 12 orang anak usia sekolah 9-11 tahun dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang terbagi menjadi 2 grup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan pelatihan kontrol diri terhadap tingkat internet gaming disorder (p = 0,04 dimana nilai p < 0,05). Dengan begitu, pelatihan kontrol diri dapat menurunkan internet gaming disorder pada anak usia sekolah. Kata kunci: Internet Gaming Disorder, Pelatihan Kontrol Diri, Anak Usia Sekolah  Abstract. In this particular sophisticated era, the use of gadget is not limited only within the reach of the adults but also children for the sake of fulfilling many of the needs which one of it happened to be the need of entertainment through internet gaming. The use of internet for playing games continuously with its negative effect will lead to an Internet Gaming Disorder. High level of Internet Gaming Disorder can be overcome, one of it would be by giving a self-control training. This research aims to apply a self-control training as an experimental method to reduce the level of Internet Gaming Disorder in children as well as sighting at how much of an impact the intervention will be on the level of IGD. This research is experimental with control group pre-test post-test design. 12 children with the age of 9-11 will be chosen as participants through purposive sampling technique. The result of this research showed that there is a significant impact of a self-control training towards the level of igd (p = 0.04). With that being said, self-control training is capable of reducing the level of igd in children. Keyword: Internet Gaming Disorder, Self-control training, Schooler

Abstract

Objectives: Anxiety in sports is one of the factors that affect athlete performance when facing a match. Anxiety that arises not only consists of cognitive components, but also involves physiological or somatic components. This study aims to examine the effect of guide imagery and music (GIM) interventions in overcoming competitive anxiety in athletes before competing.Method: The subjects consisted of three experimental groups and one control group of futsal athletes. The questionnaire used was a competitive Anxiety scale that was compiled by the researcher himself for data collection. The research design used was quasi-experimental with non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Data analysis used non-parametric analysis, namely the Wilcoxon, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann Whitney Tests.Findings: The results showed the Guide Imagery and music intervention was effective in reducing athletes' competitive anxiety. This result can be seen from the decrease in competitive anxiety scores in the experimental group during the pre-test and post-test. In addition, there was a significant difference in competitive anxiety when a different test was performed with the Mann Whitnney Test between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusions: Guide Imagery and music therapy can be used to reduce competitive anxiety in athletes before a match.

Abstract

Achievement motivation is very important for students because it is the driving force that enables them to achieve what they desire. Parental involvement becomes one factor that influences achievement motivation. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parental involvement and achievement motivation as mediated by self-efficacy. Among a sample of 200 junior high school students, using a quantitative approach,  data in the current research showed that self-efficacy significantly mediated the relationship between parental participation and achievement motivation.  Motivasi berprestasi sangat penting bagi siswa karena motivasi berprestasi berperan sebagai daya dorong yang memungkinkan mereka mencapai apa yang mereka cita-citakan. Keterlibatan orang tua menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi berprestasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji peran efikasi diri dalam memediasi hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan motivasi berprestasi. Sampel atau subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri berperan signifikan dalam memediasi hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan motivasi berprestasi.

Abstract

TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Al Qur’an) merupakan sebuah tempat diselenggarakannya pendidikan dan pengajaran agama Islam khususnya Al Quran, termasuk pendidikan moral. Pada kenyataannya, program pendidikan di TPQ pada umumnya hanya mengajarkan bagaimana membaca Al Quran, tidak mengajarkan isi dan makna dari Al Quran itu sendiri, sehingga pendidikan moral kurang mendapat perhatian. Dengan demikian, hal yang penting yaitu membuat kreasi pada metode pembelajaran penanaman nilai-nilai moral menggunakan metode yang lebih menarik. Metode story telling merupakan salah satu teknik yang menarik untuk mempelajari nilai-nilai moral pada anak-anak. Program ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode story telling dengan metode BERLIAN (Bercerita-ExpeRiential-LearnIng-ANak) untuk menananmkan nilai-nilai moral pada anak. Strategi yang digunakan dalam program ini adalah pelatihan dan dilanjutkan dengan pemantauan dan pendampingan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta merasakan pentingnya metode story telling yang diterapkan di TPQ untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai moral pada anak-anak. Mereka juga sepakat untuk menerapkan metode ini di TPQ, tetapi dalam penerapannya mereka terkendala dengan terbatasnya waktu, belum terbiasa, kurangnya keterampilan, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri. Pendampingan dan tindak lanjut perlu dilakukan agar program dapat diimplementasikan dengan lebih baik.

Abstract

Socio-emotional competence is important in children's development, because it can help them in problem solving, increase in prosocial behavior, form good relationships, and adapt to growing and complex demands. Lack of socio-emotional competence in the early stages of development is associated with aggressive tendencies, bullying, low problem solving, social isolation, rejection of relationship with peer, lack of skill in taking responsibility, involvement with crime, and drug use. Therefore, in increasing the set of competencies that children need for the future, boy-boyan become an alternative learning media through experience. With feedback from the games, children will get new knowledge to be applied in everyday life. A total of 60 male and female subjects aged 9-12 years were divided into three research groups, namely the experimental group 1 who received the boy-boy game method with experiential learning, the experimental group 2 who played only boy-boyan, and the control group. Method used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest subject design. Data analysis used Kruskal Wallis and Mann-Whitney, and the scale used was the Socio Emotional Competence Questionaire which was measured at the pretest and posttest. The results showed that there were significant differences between the three groups (ρ 0.000), and there was an increase in three aspects of socio-emotional competence in children through boy-boyan with the experiential learning method compared to only playing boy-boyan. Keywords: Childern ; Socio-Emotional Competence ; Traditional Play

Abstract

AbstractA slow learner is a child who has a delayed learning process. It affects other abilities such as adaptation, communication, and personality that can affect self-esteem. High self-esteem will make someone able to think positively about themselves and be more confident. One treatment to improve self-esteem is using Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). It helps children to explore themselves through play media. This study aimed to see the effect of CCPT on the improvement of self-esteem in slow learner children. This study designed by using a quasi-experiment with a control group also pre-test and post-test. Subjects were 20 people with 9-11 years age range who were identified as slow learners. There were two groups in this study: experimental groups and the control groups that each contained 10 children. Rosenberg Self-Esteem (RSE) was used as an instrument of self-esteem (?=0,85). The data analysis method used Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. It proved that Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) was effective in increasing the self-esteem of children who were slow learners. Slow learner children can increase their self-esteem through fun activities. Keterlambatan ini berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan lainnya seperti adaptasi, komunikasi dan pribadi yang dapat memberi dampak terhadap harga diri. Anak dengan harga diri yang tinggi membuat mereka dapat berpikir positif mengenai dirinya sendiri dan lebih percaya diri. Salah satu bentuk penanganan untuk meningkatkan harga diri adalah menggunakan Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Terapi ini membantu anak mengeksplorasi diri melalui media bermain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh CCPT terhadap peningkatan harga diri anak slow learner. Desain penelitian menggunakan eksperimen quasi dengan kelompok kontrol serta pre-test dan post-test. Terdapat dua kelompok dalam penelitian, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang terdiri atas 10 anak, dan kelompok kontrol juga terdiri atas 10 anak. Rosenberg Self Esteem (RSE) digunakan sebagai instrumen untuk mengukur harga diri (?=0,85). Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) efektif meningkatkan harga diri anak slow learner. Anak slow learner dapat meningkat harga dirinya melalui terapi yang menyenangkan yaitu melalui bermain. Kata kunci: child centered play therapy; self-esteem; slow learner
