Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the science governance of Islamic education, which is strengthened by the annual activity, the Darul Hikam education conference (DHEC), which is held by the Darul Hikam Bandung college. The method used is a phenomenological type of qualitative research. The data is analyzed philosophically, historically and pedagogically. The results of this study indicate that science governance in Islamic education is a necessity to be adaptive to technological developments, especially the metaverse through the readiness of concepts, human resources, hardware and software, and support from government policies. The 2022 DHEC program discusses how education governance needs to be prepared for changes in digital technology through seminars and calls for papers.

Abstract

Teachers and instructors who have the necessary skills and expertise are more likely to create a conducive learning environment and manage their classes effectively, resulting in optimal student learning behavior. This article presents the findings of a study conducted at the Department of Islamic Education Management, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, with the aim of examining the impact of classroom management practices on student learning behavior. This study used a quantitative approach, with an Ex Post Facto research design and a correlational descriptive research model. This research involved all students enrolled in the Department of Islamic Education Management, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, with a sample of 31 students. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires on classroom management practices and learning behavior scales. The collected data is analyzed using quantitative methods, especially the application of simple linear regression formulas. The research findings show a clear correlation between the implementation of effective classroom management and the learning behavior of students where . In essence, the more proficient class management is implemented, the more positive the impact on student behavior during the learning process.

Abstract

The educational process basically aims to improve the overall quality of human life. It can also be interpreted as a means of passing on culture through the transmission of certain information, utilizing mental processes and rationality to gain experience and develop abilities and a sense of dignity through the acquisition of knowledge and skills. The Freedom of Learning initiative was introduced by Nadiem Makarim Anwar, Minister of Education and Culture. This policy was implemented in response to the recognition that education in Indonesia has not paid enough attention to quality aspects. The research conducted for this initiative uses a quantitative approach rooted in the positivistic paradigm. A quantitative approach is a research methodology rooted in positivism, which is used to investigate a specific population or sample. Data collection in this approach involves the use of research instruments, whereas data analysis is mostly quantitative and statistical in nature, with the main objective of testing pre-established hypotheses. In the context of the Integrated Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Purwakarta Regency, it is known that the Principal's Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Work Motivation together have a significant influence on teacher performance, accounting for 87.00% of the total impact. The remaining 13.00% was associated with other variables that were not studied in this study but were known to affect teacher performance.

Abstract

The educational process involves the transformation of individual attitudes and behaviors, with the aim of nurturing and guiding the younger generation by imparting knowledge, values, and a fundamental outlook on life. Educational institutions implementing this process must understand the characteristics of effective schools and the framework for improving the quality of education. In terms of research methodology, quantitative data are used, which requires the collection of numerical data by the researcher. This data is obtained through variable measurements using research instruments. The collected data is then carried out statistical analysis. Based on the findings previously described, it can be concluded that learning management variables have a positive and significant effect on school quality. The manifestation of this phenomenon is seen on examination of the value of t, which yields a result of 3.668, exceeding the value of the table t by 1.658. Furthermore, an optimistic impact can be observed with a partial correlation coefficient of 0.311. This coefficient shows that learning management variables have a positive effect on school quality variables. In other words, with the improvement of the quality of learning management, the quality of schools also increases. Conversely, the quality of learning management decreases, as does the quality of schools. An R2 value of 0.898 provides further insight. This value illustrates that the variable of learning management contributes effectively by 89.8% to the quality of SMA Negeri 5 Bandung

Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to reveal the significance of one of the scientific theories, namely Newtonian mechanics, which is viewed from the philosophical-axiological aspect of student character education in the context of the reintegration of science and religion. So, a test was carried out on MTs Darul Fikri students in building a character education environment at school. Methods – This research design uses discussion group methods, interviews, observation, and documentation as instruments for researchers to collect data in the field. The research method was carried out using a descriptive-qualitative approach to obtain information regarding learning in schools, curriculum, approaches, strategies, methods, and learning models used, as well as data regarding the cognitive and affective aspects of students in the field.Findings – The research findings show that scientific concepts such as Newtonian mechanics can be integrated with religious values in the context of student character education. These findings support the idea that integration between science and religion can have a positive impact on the formation of students' character.Research Implications – The implication is that character education that includes moral values and the usefulness of science can be instilled through scientific concepts such as Newtonian mechanics. The limitations of this research are that there has been no concrete implementation of the integration of science and religion in the character education curriculum, and there has been no development of learning methods that effectively combine scientific concepts and religious values.
