Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and evaluate the direct or indirect effects of leader-member exchange on work engagement and job satisfaction on employee performance. The study encompassed 215 employees who worked at the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City, with 140 employees constituting the sample size. Questionnaires and interviews were employed in this study's data collection process. SmartPLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 software is utilized for structural equation modeling in statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that direct leader-member exchange, work engagement and job satisfaction have a significant effect on employee performance. Leader-member ex-change has a significant effect on performance through work engagement and employee job satisfaction at the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City. This research provides information for the Office of the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency of Medan City and related parties to improve employee performance by increasing job satisfaction, and work engagement and improving existing leadership to provide employee comfort.

Abstract

Purchasing decision is an action or consumer behavior so whether or not to make a purchase or transaction, whether or not the number of consumers in making decisions is one of the determinants of whether or not the company's goals are achieved. In theory, the lower the price of an item, the more demand for the item and the better the quality, the higher the price. The formulation of the problems of this research are: (1) Is there an effect of product quality on purchasing decisions for consumers who use the Tiktok platform?, (2) Is there any influence of digital marketing on purchasing decisions for consumers who use the Tiktok platform?, (3) Is there an effect on quality? Products on consumer emotions on consumers using the Tiktok Platform?, (4) Is there any effect of digital marketing on consumer emotions on consumers using the Tiktok Platform?, (5) Is there an influence of consumer emotions on Purchase Decisions for consumers using the Tiktok Platform?, (6) Is there an effect of product quality on purchasing decisions with consumer emotions as an intervening variable for consumers using the Tiktok platform?, (7) Is there an effect of digital marketing on purchasing decisions with consumer emotions as an intervening variable for consumers using the Tiktok platform?. This study was designed using quantitative methods with a sample size of 356 respondents using Accidental Sampling. The data collection instruments used were questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that (1) Product quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, (2) Product quality has no significant positive effect on consumer emotions, (3) Digital marketing has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions , (4) Digital marketing has a significant positive effect on consumer emotions, (5) Consumer emotions have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, (6) Product quality has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions with consumer emotions as a mediating variable, (7) Product quality has no effect significant positive effect on purchasing decisions with consumer emotions as a mediating variable.

Abstract

This study examined the influence of leader-member exchange and perceived organisational support on job satisfaction, with employee engagement as a mediator, either directly or indirectly. This study employs a quantitative associative methodology. This study's participants were all PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) TPK Perawang employees. This study's sample consisted of a total of 67 employees who were selected using the saturated sampling procedure. Interviews and questionnaires were used for data collection in this study. This investigation employed SEM-PLS for data analysis. This investigation processes data using the Partial Least Square software tool. This study demonstrates that Leader-Member Exchange, Perceived Organisational Support, and Employee Engagement significantly affect Job Satisfaction. Leader-member exchange and Perceived Organisational Support significantly affect Employee Engagement. Leader-member exchange has a significant impact on Job Satisfaction through Employee Engagement, and Perceived Organisational Support has a significant impact on Employee Engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of work environment and workload on turnover intention with job satisfaction as moderation. The object of research was conducted at PT Sumber Sawit Makmur Unit Bandar Pulau, Bandar Pulau District, Asahan Regency. This research is included in the category of causal research using a quantitative approach. Sampling using the Slovin Formula which amounted to 53 field employees from a population of 113 people. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, distributing questionnaires and documentation studies. This research analyzes using the help of Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) software version 3.0 which is applied with computer media to test the strength of the relationship between turnover intention and its independent variables, namely work environment and workload and job satisfaction as moderating variables. The results of this study prove that the work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on turnover intention.Workload has a positive and insignificant effect on turnover intention.Job satisfaction variables are not able to moderate the influence of work environment and workload on turnover intention.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the effect of organizational commitment, compensation, on organizational citizenship behavior mediated by teacher loyalty in the Amal Usaha Majelis Dikdasmen Muhammadiyah Pematangsiantar. The data used in this study were obtained directly from respondents totaling 54 permanent teachers of Perguruan Muhammadiyah Pematangsiantar which were processed with the help of the SmartPLS program. The results showed that organizational commitment, teacher loyalty, individually had a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. While compensation with a negative direction has an insignificant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Organizational commitment variables, compensation, individually have a significant effect on teacher loyalty. Teacher loyalty significantly mediates the effect of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. Loyalty significantly mediates the effect of compensation on organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Purpose –The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of online word of mouth on the medical treatment of Indonesians in Malaysian hospitals. Design/methodology/approach – The analysis of 401 patients from Indonesia who had undergone medical treatment in Malaysian hospitals was done using SPSS. A convenience sampling technique was used in this study. A total of 401 questionnaires were distributed. Findings - the intensity and content of online word of mouth related to purchase behaviour, while valence of online word of mouth not related to purchase behaviour (rejected). Research limitations/implications – This research examined the concept of word of mouth communication and online word of mouth communication.. However, this study did not explore offline word of mouth or traditional word of mouth communication. Practical implications –The results indicate that the source from experts was not as the main information source. Hospital managers should be using another method to share hospital information through social media (online) Originality/value – This study will enable hospital managers should use the information technology sophisticated to promote their services and then using the comment of medical expert as a stimulation media.

Abstract

Quality human resources will help advance the company as a forum for improving good performance. Therefore, a company should provide positive direction to its human resources in order to achieve the goals set by the company. Many factors influence performance, including additional compensation and work morale. The purpose of this research is to analyze several things, namely: to find out whether there is an effect of additional compensation on employee performance, to find out whether there is an effect of additional compensation on work morale, to find out whether there is an effect of work morale on employee performance and to find out whether additional compensation has an effect on performance which is mediated by enthusiasm for working at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. This research uses associative research with a sample of 87 respondents who are employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III (Persero) Medan. Data collection techniques use a list of statements such as a questionnaire and data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (SmartPls) to test the four hypotheses proposed in this research. The results of this research show that: (1) the effect of additional compensation on employee performance is positive and significant; (2) the effect of additional compensation on employee morale is positive and significant; (3) the effect of work morale on employee performance is positive and significant; (4) work morale as a mediator variable plays a mediating role in the effect of additional compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh tunjangan kinerja dan kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja pegawai yang dimediasi oleh motivasi pada Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP) Kabupaten Gayo Lues Provinsi Aceh. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden yang merupakan pegawai di DPMPTSP Kabupaten Gayo Lues Provinsi Aceh. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Partial Least Square untuk menguji 7 hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan tunjangan kinerja dan motivasi memengaruhi secara positif serta signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai sedangkan kepemimpinan memengaruhi secara positif serta tidak signifikan pada kinerja pegawai, tunjangan kinerja memenagruhi secara positif serta tidak signifikan pada motivasi dan kepemimpinan memengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi. Tunjangan kinerja memengaruhi secara positif serta signifikan pada kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi dan kepemimpinan memengaruhi secara positif serta signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui motivasi.

Abstract

In connection with this study there are objectives, among others, to test the impact of ROA, EPS and DER effect on stock prices. This type of research is based on a quantitative approach. The population used in this study is the consumer goods sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the period 2018-2021 as many as 18 companies and a sample of 6 companies and then a total of 24 reports of observations. The results of the study, among others, ROA, DER partially does not affect the stock price, eps partially positive effect on stock prices and then simultaneously ROA, EPS and DER simultaneously positive effect on stock prices.
