Abstract

Stroke is the main cause of disability at high risk for cognitive impairment. Hypertension is the main trigger for the occurrence of stroke. The Barthel Index is one of the measuring tools used to assess patients with neurological disorders and undergoing rehabilitation. This study aims to compare the clinical outcomes of ischemic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension at Undata Hospital of Central Sulawesi Province from March 2020 to March 2022. This study uses an analytical observational research method with a cross-sectional design. The samples consist of 68 patients. The data were collected through secondary data, namely medical records of ischemic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertensive. The data were tested for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and processed using the Mann-Whitney and the unpaired T-tests. The results show no comparison of clinical outcomes of ischemic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension. The results of statistical tests of the Barthel index before going to the hospital obtained a p-value of 0.106.  and the results of statistical tests of the Barthel index after hospitalization is a p-value of 0.881. There is no difference in clinical outcomes in ischemic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension at Undata Hospital of Central Sulawesi Province from March 2020 to March 2022.

Abstract

Stroke is a neurological disorder characterized by blockage of blood vessels in the brain. This blockage will form a blood clot that can interfere with blood flow, clog arteries and end in rupture of blood vessels, which can cause bleeding and sudden death of brain cells due to lack of oxygen. To compare the clinical outcomes of hemorrhagic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension at UPT RSUD Undata Central Sulawesi Province for the period March 2020-March 2022. This study used an observational analytic research method with a cross sectional design. The research sample was 44 people. The data collected is in the form of secondary data, namely medical records of hemorrhagic stroke patients who have hypertension and non-hypertension. The data obtained was then tested for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, then processed using the Mann Whitney test and unpaired T test. The results of this study did not show a comparison of the clinical outcomes of hemorrhagic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension. Barthel Index statistical test results before hospital admission (P 0.386) and Barthel Index statistical test results after hospital admission (P 0.336). There were no significant clinical outcome differences in hemorrhagic stroke patients with hypertension and non-hypertension at UPT RSUD Undata Central Sulawesi Province for the period March 2020-March 2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi penerapan augmented reality (AR) dalam konteks pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran. Augmented reality adalah teknologi yang menggabungkan elemen dunia nyata dengan elemen virtual, menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan immersif. Metode studi literatur digunakan untuk mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi, dan mensintesis berbagai literatur terkait penggunaan AR dalam pendidikan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan AR dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan menyediakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih menarik dan relevan dengan konteks nyata. Selain itu, AR juga membantu dalam memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap konsep-konsep abstrak, seperti ilmu pengetahuan alam dan matematika, dengan memvisualisasikan dan memanipulasi objek dalam ruang tiga dimensi. Tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi AR meliputi aksesibilitas teknologi dan perlunya pelatihan yang memadai bagi pendidik. Meskipun demikian, teknologi ini menawarkan potensi besar dalam merubah paradigma pembelajaran menjadi lebih dinamis dan adaptif sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan panduan bagi pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam integrasi AR dalam kurikulum pendidikan, serta menyoroti perlunya dukungan lebih lanjut dari berbagai pihak untuk memastikan keberhasilan implementasi teknologi ini di berbagai lingkungan pendidikan.
