Abstract

This research aimed to describe: 1) conditions and potential of instructional materials use now, 2) effectiveness,3) efficiency,and 4) attractiveness. Research approach used is research and development. This research was conducted at SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung SMAN 15 and SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung. Collection of data through observation, unstructured interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and n-Gain. The conclusion of this research are: 1) conditions of learning are still teacher centered, characteristics of student at the age of 15-17 years are less motivated to learn use learning resources textbooks. So the potential for development of teaching materials in modules. 2) Products modules effective with category index gain medium, average value of n-Gain experimental class 0.47 > control class 0.39. 3) The use of module efficient in learning, with efficiency values of 1.3. 4) The attractiveness of module in the category of attractive (88.21%).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan: 1) kondisi dan potensi bahan ajar yang ada dan digunakan saat ini, 2) efektivitas, 3) efisiensi, dan 4) kemenarikan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 13 Bandar Lampung, SMAN 15 Bandar Lampung, dan SMAN 16 Bandar Lampung.  Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket dan tes. Data dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif dan n-Gain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) kondisi pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru, karakteristik siswa di usia 15-17 tahun kurang termotivasi untuk belajar menggunakan sumber belajar buku paket.  Sehingga berpotensi untuk dikembangkan bahan ajar berupa modul. 2) Produk modul efektif dengan kategori indeks gain sedang, rata-rata nilai n-Gain kelas eksperimen 0,47 > kelas kontrol 0,39. 3) Penggunaan modul efisien digunakan dalam pembelajaran, dengan nilai efisiensi 1,3. 4) Daya tarik modul dalam kategori menarik (88,21%).Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, modul, kesetimbangan kimia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 27 Tegineneng. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi experiment). Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest and posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN 27 Tegineneng. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 20 siswa kelas IV SDN 27 Tegineneng. Penelitian ini akan menguji pretes dan postes. Perbedaan nilai antara pretes dan postes melalui uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test. Dalam pelaksanaan uji Wilcoxon untuk menganalisis kedua data yang berpasangan tersebut dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis uji melalui program SPSS versi16. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN 27 Tegineneng. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil Uji Wilcoxon bahwa Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) adalah 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The research goal was to know the influence of Show and tell method implementation toward speaking skill on 5-6th aged in Xaverius 3 Kindergarten Bandar Lampung. The research was quasi experiment with used design one group pretest-posttest design. The researcher used saturation sampling for 30 students. The collecting data technique used pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by t-test. Based on t-test calculation, Ha was accepted. T-score pretest and posttest result showed thit = 13.4 and ttabel= 1.69 (thit&gt; ttabel ). Based on the result, there was influence of show and tell toward speaking skill on 5-6th in Xaverius 3 Kindergarten Bandar Lampung.Keywords: Show and tell Method, Speaking Skill.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between scout extracurricular activities on student discipline. This research is a quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all students who joined the Scout extracurricular at SDN 2 Way Huwi, namely 24 students. The research sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique so that a sample of 10 students was obtained. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used the correlation Pearson product-moment with the help of the SPSS program. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between scout extracurricular activities and student discipline in SDN 2 Way Huwi with a significance value (0,000 <0.05). Discipline does not only come from parents, teachers, or students themselves, but student discipline can also be trained through scout extracurricular activities.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to describe the development of independence in early childhood. In more detail, an overview, and description of independent abilities is obtainde 3 children at TK Amarta Tani HKTI Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted in class B2 at TK Amarta Tani HKTI Bandar Lampung. This research used a qualitative approach, with 3 children as the subject. Collecting data using the method of ebservation, unstructured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis and validity test used triangulation. Based on the results of research conducted at TK Amarta Tani HKTI Bandar Lampung, KYA has not been independent in the aspects of development of emotional and cognitive independence, MS still has not show independence in the aspects of emotional independence, and MA is not yet independent in the aspects of cognitive independence.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe effectiveness of the learning model of guided inquiry in improving communication skills and mastery of concepts in solubility and solubility product lesson. Samples in this research were students of State Senior High School 1 Tumijajar of classes XI Sciences 3 and XI Sciences 4 even semester School Year 2011-2012 that have equal academic abilities. This research used a quasi experiment method with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Effectiveness of the learning model of guided inquiry was measured by significant differences in control class and experiment class, shown by significant gain. Based on the results of this research, average value of N-gain for communication skills in control and experiment class were 0,59 and 0,66; and the average value of N-gain for mastery of concepts in control and experiment class were 0,39 and 0,55. Hypothesis testing in this research used test two average different with t-test.  The hypothesis result test show that class that used learning model of guided inquiry had higher communication skills and mastery of concepts than class with conventional learning model. This indicated that learning model of guided inquiry was effective to improving communication skills and mastery of concepts in solubility and solubility product lesson.  Keywords: guided inquiry, communication skills and mastery of concepts

Abstract

Abstract: Philosophy As The Foundation Of Science In The Development Of Chemistry. This article aims to present an explanation of philosophy as the basis of science in the development of chemistry. This article uses the literature review method. The library sources used in this article are journals and books on the development of chemistry. The results of the research show that (1) Philosophy serves as the basis from which philosophy is obtained the truth which becomes the basis or foundation of chemistry. By learning something related to chemistry through knowledge (philosophy) is a step to get true and objective knowledge about chemistry. (2) Chemists and scientists agree on the basis of the development of chemistry, namely to obtain answers to the what and why questions about matter in nature, each of which will produce facts and theoretical knowledge about matter whose truth can be explained by mathematical logic. Finally, (3) The study of chemistry in its development includes aspects of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The ontology aspect includes the chemical concept of matter and matter. The epistemological aspect includes the understanding of chemistry that is obtained and developed based on experiments and theories. Abstract

This research aimed to describe the effect of realistic mathematical approaches on mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN 4 JatiMulyo. Type of this research is quantitative research using quasi-experimental methods and using one-group pre-test and post-test design. This research is conducted for grade IV odd semester 2019/2020 at SDN 4 JatiMulyo. The population in this research are all fourth grade students of SDN 4 Jati Mulyo with a total of 31 students. The sampling using saturated sampling technique (total sampling), thus the sample in this research amounted to 31 students. The data collection is done through tests, namely pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis. Based on the result and discussion in this research, it can be concluded that there is an effect of a realistic mathematical approach to the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD N 4 JatiMulyo. This is evidenced by the mean value of mathematics learning outcomes is 83.84 (very good category). From these results it can be concluded that there was an effect of a realistic mathematical approach to student mathematics learning outcomes.
