The presence of an aggregator business in agricultural marketing complicates the current understanding of middlemen. The presence of intermediaries has begun to be questioned and even considered a threat to the supply chain. This study aims to (1) analyze the evolution of research middlemen in influencing agricultural marketing and (2) identify what issues are developing in middlemen in agricultural marketing. Data were analyzed from 425 journals registered with Scopus from 1974 to 2021. The data were then processed and analyzed using Tableau, Ms. Excel, and VOSviewer. It generates bibliometric maps against middlemen in agricultural marketing through bibliometric analysis. The development of the middlemen issue discusses its implications for agribusiness management, social capital, value chains, and prices. The existence of middlemen cannot be fully considered as threatening the supply chain. Abstract

The increasing demand and consumption of oranges have led many local governments to participate in developing superior local orange varieties that are acceptable to consumers, such as the local orange variety called "rimau gerga lebong" from Bengkulu Province. This study aims to analyze consumers' preferences and willingness to pay for rimau gerga lebong oranges. Primary data for the study were collected through an online survey of 200 respondents who have purchased and consumed oranges in Bengkulu, Sumatera Selatan, and Jambi regions. The survey was conducted from April to May 2022. The data were analyzed using a discrete choice experiment (DCE) and willingness to pay (WTP) analysis. Four attributes were considered in the DCE and WTP analyses: taste, water content, freshness, and price. The results indicate that consumers prefer gerga oranges due to their fresh, high water content, and sweet taste attributes. Furthermore, consumers are willing to pay a higher price, with a maximum additional price of Rp. 936.08/kg for fresh oranges, Rp. 497.59/kg for juicy oranges, and Rp. 307.89/kg for sweet oranges. Improving the quality of orange attributes according to consumer needs can lead to increased profits. The findings of this study provide valuable insights for breeders and marketers to ensure that orange quality aligns with the needs and desires of consumers. Based on these findings, several managerial implications can be formulated to enhance and maintain orange attributes. Abstract

Corruption is one of the inhibiting factors in the business world in Indonesia. Efforts to eradicate corruption are carried out through education, prevention and prosecution strategies or known as the TRISULA strategy. One of the corruption prevention efforts carried out by the KPK is through the Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP) with eight areas. This study aims to analyze the influencing factors and the best strategic priorities in preventing regional corruption. This study uses primary data. Primary data was obtained through a survey with purposive sampling in 22 local governments. Data were analyzed using internal-external analysis, SWOT, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results of the strategy analysis show that the main strength factor is the commitment of the regional head and regional apparatus, the main weakness factor is the weak of intern monitoring. While the main opportunity factor is the role of the Corruption Eradication Commission in supporting local government corruption prevention efforts, while the main threat factor is the country's economy (fiscal conditions). The regional corruption prevention system is in quadrant V (hold and maintain). Sharpening MCP indicators is a strategic priority to prevent corruption in the regions.
