Abstract

Education is a process of humanizing humans based on culture. Knowledge is the result of human sensing, or the result of someone knowing about objects through their senses. Through health education, it will be able to change the mindset of the Indonesian people, to always be aware of and care about disasters. The research design used was Pre-experimental pre-post test design aimed to show the effect of health education on public knowledge about landslide disaster management in Mulyorejo village, Silo district. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical test that the results obtained P Value of 0.000 <0,005 which shows that H1 is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of health education on public knowledge about preparedness for landslides in Mulyorejo Village, Silo District, Jember Regency. landslide in Mulyorejo village, Silo district, Jember regency.
