Abstract

Determining the stock of goods is mandatory for a company of buy and sell goods, especially when there are many types of goods to sell. One of the companies that means is PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara. The company is one of the largest Honda motorcycle distributor companies in Riau. PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara also sells and purchases Honda motorbike spare Parts for its customers. Considering that there are quite a lot of types of Honda motorbikes and for one Honda motorbike there are already a lot of spare Parts, a system is needed that is able to store all motorbike data and spare Parts, and if possible can help predict the stock of items needed. This research aims to create a decision support system that can help PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara in predicting the amount of spare part stock needed. The method used in this system is the Exponential Smoothing method with the programming language used is the PHP language which makes this system a Web-based system that is used locally.

Abstract

This study investigated the design of learning in a virtual laboratory through collaborative inquiry and its effect on student knowledge. Learning design produces learning models that are measured based on validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method uses research and development that produces products and product effectiveness. The trial results were conducted on a small scale on eight students to measure the quality of student learning. To test the validity of the product through expert assistance, all the answers of the validator were calculated using Aiken's V validity coefficient. Further findings implied that students have begun to accept technology as a learning tool and provided opportunities for universities in learning development.

Abstract

Penentuan cluster optimal ini seringkali ambigu karena dihasilkan dari beberapa kelompok. Pemilihan informasi dari kelompok mana yang akan digunakan oleh pengguna menjadi masalah tersendiri karena menyangkut pembuatan kebijakan. Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) merupakan teknik evaluasi cluster untuk menentukan jumlah cluster yang optimal dan didukung dengan pengukuran jarak yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan cluster melalui teknik DBI yang diterapkan pada pengukuran Bregman Divergences, Mahalano dan Square Euclidean Distance, menggunakan algoritma K-Means dan K-Medoids. Hasil pengujian ditunjukkan melalui beberapa indikator yang digunakan sebagai tolak ukur untuk mengetahui kinerja Bregman Divergences dalam menentukan jumlah cluster seperti korelasi, algoritma cluster yang digunakan, pola DBI, hasil DBI, k-optimal dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk pengujian. Melalui kedua algoritma clustering tersebut, jarak Mahalano dapat menghasilkan pola pengelompokan yang konsisten dan teknik pengukuran Square Euclidean Distance berhasil menunjukkan performa DBI terbaik yang menempatkan k=2 sebagai cluster optimal, nilai DBI terendah sebesar 0,882 dan 1,030 pada waktu pengujian. selama 0 detik.

Abstract

This community service activity was organized by Permatadhis Pelita Indonesia in order to celebrate the moon cake festival or better known as the mid autumn festival, with the theme "Spreading Love Underneath the Moonlight". The purpose of this activity is to develop creativity and skills in non-academic fields for college student of the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology. The competition method is that participant doing register and collect posters or photographic creations via googleform link that has been provided and will be assessed by a team of judges. The elements of the poster competition assessment include creativity, caption, color composition and the message conveyed in the creation. Meanwhile, the elements of the assessment of the photography competition include conformity to the theme, creativity, captions, moments and taking photos.

Abstract

Seiring dengan bertambahnya data dan kebutuhan operasional kerja, fungsi perangkat lunak memerlukan pembaharuan dan peningkatan. Pentingnya kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan karena permasalahan muncul saat tidak memahami cara maupun metode yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas perangkat lunak, termasuk oleh Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri (SMKN) di Pekanbaru. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman sekaligus pelatihan kepada guru dan siswa SMKN di Pekanbaru tentang metode yang tepat untuk peningkatan kualitas perangkat lunak. Metode yang diusulkan adalah Technical, Economic, Legal, Operational dan Schedule atau disebut TELOS. Metode ini digunakan untuk menentukan kelayakan terhadap kualitas sistem informasi akademik sekolah yang perlu ditingkatkan. Sistem dianalisis melalui 5 aspek TELOS secara objektif melalui 50 responden pengguna sistem dari lingkungan sekolah. Hasil TELOS menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi akademik sekolah layak untuk ditingkatkan kualitasnya dengan rata-rata nilai TELOS adalah 7.812.
