Abstract

This study aims to describe the pedagogic competence of teachers in implementing blended learning-based learning in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research method, with preparatory steps, field work, and data analysis. The data sources were all 24 teachers of SDN 001 Salo, consisting of 3 male teachers and 21 female teachers. The data collection technique used is teacher pedagogic competency analysis and observation. The research instrument used was the teacher's pedagogic analysis sheet and the observation sheet for the implementation of blended learning-based learning. The data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the teacher's pedagogic competence seen from the teaching experience was at a good level. The teacher's pedagogic competence in implementing blended learning-based learning is at a good level. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's pedagogic competence in implementing blended learning-based learning is at a good level. Elementary school teachers need continuous training and mentoring in order to maintain and improve their pedagogical competence.

Abstract

This research concerned on students’ reading comprehension using Think Pair Share (TPS) method. The objective of research is to know the improvement of students’ reading comprehension in reading kids story material when Think Pair Share (TPS) Method is applied in fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu. This research is Classroom Action Research. It has been conducted on May 2021. It conducted in six meetings. The subject of the research is students of fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu included of 26 students. The result of this research showed that Think Pair Share method can improve students’ reading comprehension in reading kids story material it proved from the comparison of students score in every cycle. In pre-cycle, 5 students or 19,2% that achieve score higher than KKM 70. In cycle I, it improved to be 15 students or 57,7%. In cycle II, 24 students or 92,3% have score higher than KKM. In conclusion, the use of Think Pair Share method can improve students’ reading comprehension of fifth grade at SD Negeri 003 Siabu in academic year of 2021/2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari rendahnya hasil belajar siswa SD Pahlawan Pada Mata Pelajaran IPA. Hal ini disebabkan karena guru mengunakan metode yang kurang variasi yaitu metode ceramah sehingga siswa menjadi pasif dan siswa tidak memahami materi atau tugas yang diberikan guru. Salah satu solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengunakan model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah untuk, mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan Quantum Teaching pada pembelajaran IPA materi Energi. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus dan setiap siklus nya dilaksanakan 2 kali pertemuan. Penelitian dilakasanakan pada siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan. Teknik pengumpulan data ini menggunakan teknik obeservasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA materi energi dapat dilihat dari rata-rata pada siklus I 68,00 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 63,00%, dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus II 75,2 dengan persentase ketuntasan 78%. Jadi pembelajaran IPA materi Energi dengan model Quantum Teaching dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Pahlawan.
