Abstract

This research is motivated by the inability of internal audit at PT-BLU to encourage the performance of strategic government programs implemented through universities. One of the government's priority programs run by PT-BLU is a program to strengthen religious moderation. This study aims to identify the models of internal control implemented at PT-BLU and their empowerment to encourage the performance of strengthening religious moderation in Higher Education. For this purpose, researchers empowered qualitative research methods by collecting data using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The data collected was then checked for validity using the triangulation technique and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of the study show that: (1) there are 2 (two) models of internal control that have been implemented at PT-BLU, namely: the partial-thematic internal audit model and the collaborative internal control model. (2) there is an audit model that is being developed, namely a risk-based internal-partial audit model, and an audit model that has the potential to be further studied and applied to PTKIN-BLU in the future, namely an integrative audit model; (3) the models of internal control that have been implemented by PTKIN BLU can be empowered to support and encourage the strengthening of religious moderation and other strategic programs.

Abstract

In running an organization, conflicts are always present and cannot be avoided by every member of the organization. Usually conflict is naturally present in any cooperative relationship between individuals and groups. Conflict will be positive if it can be managed properly through conflict management built by a leader in his or her own right. The principal becomes a leader in running the organization of the school's educational institution. The role of the principal of MI Nahdatul Ulama II is certainly required to be able to manage the conflicts that occur in MI Nahdatul Ulama II. This study aims to find out how the strategy or type of handling carried out by the principal in conflict management as an effort to realize teamwork performance. The method used in this research is qualitative research and the type of research, which includes field research using phenomenologicaldesign. The results of this study show that principals manage conflicts with strategies of collaboration, accommodation, and compromise. Through these three ways of handling conflicts, the principal is proven to prevent, avoid, and be able to minimize the impact of conflict in the MI Nahdatul Ulama II Pontianak school environment, as well as the realization of teamwork performance where the principal and all teachers can contribute according to their capacity and ability so that the team can achieve the best results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the school's efforts to facilitate the development of social intelligence based on multicultural values in elementary school students, using a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. , where data collection is done through observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was checked using the triangulation technique and then analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results of the study show that the strategy for developing social intelligence can be carried out on the basis of multicultural values in Goleman's perspective which includes 4 aspects, namely: 1) The most important strategy of empathy with the value of tolerance, 2) The strategy of adjustment or adaptation to democratic values. 3) Strategies with the right sense of empathy with the value of equality 4) Strategies through social awareness with habit. Based on these four aspects, it can be concluded that through the theory of social intelligence from a multicultural perspective, several school strategies are obtained through habituation, namely: greeting the teacher when in front, visiting sick people, queuing when in the canteen, practicing distributing qurbani meat, facilitating students to celebrate religious activities and not doing verbal and non-verbal bullying.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang upaya sekolah dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan kecerdasan sosial berbasis nilai-nilai multikultural pada peserta didik di sekolah dasar, menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. , dimana pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data diperiksa menggunakan teknik triangulasi kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengembangan kecerdasan sosial dapat dilakukan dengan basis nilai-nilai multikultural dalam persepektif Goleman yang meliputi 4 aspek, yaitu (1) strategi tentang empati terpenting dengan nilai toleransi, (2) strategi penyesuaian atau adaptasi dengan nilai demokrasi, (3) strategi dengan rasa empati yang tepat dengan nilai kesetaraan, (4) strategi melalui kesadaran sosial dengan pembiasaan. Berdasarkan keempat aspek tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui teori kecerdasan sosial persepektif multikultural diperoleh beberapa strategi sekolah melalui pembiasaan yaitu: Menyalami guru ketika didepan, menjenguk orang yang sakit, mengantri ketika dikantin, latihan membagikan daging kurban, memfasilitasi siswa untuk merayakan kegiatan keagamaan dan tidak melakukan bulliying verbal maupun non verbal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal parental guidance strategies for elementary school children in wise social media. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The data was obtained in this study using interviews and observation. This research was conducted in the village of Wawai substation located in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. This research was conducted in February-March 2023. In-depth interviews were conducted with 3 parents whose children attended Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 13 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models through the stages of condensing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the strategies of parents in guiding their children to wise social media and the negative and positive impacts what happens in using social media itself. The results of this study indicate that elementary school-age children still need adequate supervision in using social media, so they can use it properly and correctly. Parents are influential figures in children's lives, for this reason, it is necessary to optimize their role as mentors in all areas of their children's lives, including in social media. The guidance strategy given by parents to their children for wise social media can be done by: (1) time management, namely setting time limits for using social media, (2) monitoring, namely parents accompanying, monitoring, and accompanying children when using social media, and (3) explanation, namely explaining to children what the benefits and risks are when using social media. There are 2 negative impacts of social media, they are addiction and lack of physical activity. While the 2 positive impacts are easy access to information and learning to be creative.

Abstract

In the context of child development, this research explains the cultivation of character that aligns with Pancasila values. This research aims to analyze the cultivation of character in accordance with Pancasila values from the perspective of the development of elementary school-aged children. This research uses a qualitative descriptive strategy. The steps were through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques as an approach to data collection. In the observation process, the researcher made observations in the classroom. The informants interviewed were the school principal and class teacher. Information is collected through published literature. The data that has been found is triangulated and tested for validity to validate the findings. The results of this study indicate that, from a child development perspective, character development can be divided into three domains: cognitive development, linguistic development, and social and emotional development. A learning environment that encourages students' original thinking can be created through cognitive development. To help children develop their language skills, educators should always teach them how to speak politely in formal and informal settings. Students are expected to take responsibility for themselves, others, and their academic commitments as part of their social and emotional growth.

Abstract

Orang tua sebagai pendidik pertama, mempunyai kewajiban membimbing, melindungi serta membesarkan anak. Keberadaan orang tua sangatlah penting, sehingga peran orang tua merupakan dasar pertama dalam pembentukan pribadi anak. Upaya tersebut dapat terwujud apabila orang tua menerapkan pola asuh yang tepat, karena pola asuh yang diberikan kepada anak akan mempengerahui pekembangan sosial-emosional anak. Setiap orang tua tentu mempunyai pola asuh yang berbeda, diantanyanya yaitu: Pola asuh otorite, pola asuh demokratis, dan pola asuh permisif. Pola asuh orang tua pada anak usia dini mencakup pemberian rangsangan fisik, mental, emosional, moral, maupun sosial yang akan mendorong tumbuh kembang anak secara optimal. Gaya pengasuhan terhadap anaknya, akan mempengaruhi pada perkembangan sosial dan kepribadian anak. Gaya pengasuhan yang tidak baik akan menurunkan perkembangan sosial anak yang baik. Pola asuh orang tua berarti kebiasaan orang tua, ayah dan ibu dalam memimpin, mengasuh dan membimbing anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh orang tua dalam membentuk perkembangan emosional anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa perkembangan emosional anak dengan kecenderungan pola asuh demokratis berkembang baik

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the world of higher education. Students as agents of change are expected to have a strong ethical foundation to face the challenges they face in this era. This research aims to analyze the ethical foundation that students must have in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The research method used is literature study by collecting data from various sources such as scientific journals, books, articles and other related documents. The research results show that the ethical foundations of students who are effective in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 include integrity, responsibility, social skills, adaptability, and technological awareness. Integrity refers to strong personal morality and ethics, responsibility involves taking a responsible attitude towards student duties and roles, social skills involve the ability to communicate and collaborate, adaptability involves the ability to adapt to technological changes, and technology awareness involves understanding the ethical implications of new technologies. This research provides a better understanding of the ethical foundations needed by students in facing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0.
