Abstract

Pemanfaatan perkembangan teknologi yaitu Internet of Things (IoT) telah sangat memudahkan pekerjaan manusia. IoT memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengelola dan mengoptimalkan elektronik dan peralatan listrik yang menggunakan internet. Dengan adanya teknologi IoT ini, maka sistem pengontrolan pintu gerbang bisa menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sebuah mikrokontroler ESP32 yang merupakan otak dari keseluruhan sistem kerja alat, smartphone Android digunakan untuk menampilkan interface pengontrolan, sedangkan software pendukung yang digunakan yaitu MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) untuk memberikan perintah yang akan diterima oleh mikrokontroler ESP32. Dalam perancangan rangkaian keseluruhan sistem dari pintu gerbang dengan control Android dibagi menjadi 3 bagian, yaitu: power supply, bagian input dan bagian output. Bagian power supply merupakan input tegangan yang didapat melalui adaptor. Bagian input terdiri dari 1 buah input yaitu MQTT. Bagian output terdiri dari motor servo dan buzzer. Alat ini telah diuji dengan menguji coba alat selama 10 hari untuk mengetahui kelayakan pada alat dan didapat hasil bahwa alat dapat diimplementasikan pada gerbang kosan yang menjadi tempat penelitian.

Abstract

Based on the results of the situation analysis conducted at the Bina Latih Karya SMKS, problems can be solved through PKM. The problem is that the Internet of Things learning has not been implemented due to a lack of teachers who have the ability to teach the Internet of Things. The agency already has an IoT device but there is no implementation of learning yet. Based on the results of the Internet of Things training which has been attended by one class of SMKS Balai Latih Karya students, it can be concluded that this training can help the school in providing IoT material which has not been obtained in class so far. This training is also very interesting for students, marked by the enthusiasm of students in participating in this IoT training activity.

Abstract

Telkom Lampung Vocational School has four competency skills that you can choose from. These four skill competencies are related to one another. The major related to the internet of things is TKJ, so this class was invited as a training participant. IoT training is indeed one of the requirements requested by Telkom Vocational School. This request is because the Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that is being discussed lately. With this technology, every device that we use can later be connected to the internet. This training received good appreciation from the teacher and also the students who participated in this activity. The students were very enthusiastic in participating in the internet of things training because it added to their knowledge and skills. Hopefully the implementation of this training will add enthusiasm for students to continue learning and be able to continue to the higher education level.

Abstract

In Indonesia there are often natural disasters, one of which is flooding. Flooding is a natural disaster that is marked by the overflowing of river water irrigation channels in urban areas, one is the river Irrigation that exists at the Technokrat University of Indonesia. Therefore, the study aims to develop a flood early detection tool using LoRa (Long Range) technology to monitor potential flooding in Kalibalau, Indonesian Technocratic University, Bandar Lampung. The research method involves installing an ultrasonic sensor in the Kalibalau River and connecting it to the Heltec Wifi LoRa 32 V2 microcontroller. Test results show that the LoRa transmitter and receiver operate as planned. This tool does not require an internet connection because it uses the Heltec Wifi LoRa 32 V2. The status of the river is categorized into four: Safe, Alert 1, Alert 2, and Danger, with appropriate warnings. The test showed a delay of 5 seconds on the water height reading. At safe (water height 44 cm), the buzzer does not sound. At morning 1 (water altitude 82 cm), it sounds once with a 1 minute delay. The device has a communication capacity of up to 400 meters. Thus, the tool is effective in monitoring the Kalibalau river and giving early warning of potential floods. This research has contributed to the development of flood monitoring technology to increase public alertness and safety in flood-prone areas
