Abstract

Abstract In the eastern part of the Republic of Indonesia, Papua has still considered a land of political and socio-economic conflict despite the richness of gold and uniqueness. Since the integration of Papua into Indonesia, the conflict still occurred and led to the separatism issue. Many have perceptions that there is a foreign state actor behind the issue. The role of the Indonesian government to overcome the conflicts in Papua is still questionable. In addition, the US with Freeport seems to be another issue that possibly has a linkage to several problems that occurred in the land. According to that perception, by taking a literature study, the writing will briefly explore Indonesia's role in dealing with the conflict and the US interest in Papua. Keywords: Papua, Indonesia, the US

The transfer of the State Capital (KN) from Jakarta to East Kalimantan Province in North Penajam Paser Regency has now been determined by the government with the enactment of Law No. 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital. In the law, it is explained that one of the functions of IKN is as a Center of gravity (CoG), namely symbolizing the sovereignty of a country, therefore IKN is a national vital object to maintain its existence from threats, therefore IKN requires a system and strategy to protect it in this case. non-military threat. In this thesis the researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method with the formulation of the problem from the problem statement to be able to protect the IKN from non-military threats in the Indonesian Archipelagic Sea Lanes (ALKI) II. The results of the research that the researchers got were the significance of non-military threats in the inland waters defense area in ALKI II, giving rise to an urgency to develop a new IKN defense strategy that can ward off non-military threats in the planning stages of the IKN transfer. Which then the researcher concluded that in efforts to move the IKN it is important to analyze the defense of inland waters in ALKI II with the aim of maintaining the defense of IKN with an inland waters defense strategy, in order to realize national defense from non-military threats.

Abstract

Geographically, Indonesia has the longest coastline in both Asia and the world. This makes coastal areas vulnerable to various crimes, especially those using the sea and the coast as an alternative. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen through community empowerment in coastal areas as part of the duties of the Indonesian Navy as written in RI Law Number 34 of 2004 Article 9 (e), which is to maximize its role in empowering maritime defense areas. The purpose of this study is to analyze the empowerment of coastal communities carried out by the Indonesian Navy in supporting Indonesia's maritime defense strategy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The result of this research is that by empowering coastal communities as Komcad Matra Laut, in addition to increasing Indonesia's maritime defense, it can also improve welfare and human resources in coastal areas. Defense and the economy support each other so that peace and prosperity can be created for the Indonesian people. Suggestions from this study are that synergy between the Indonesian Navy and the City and Provincial Governments is needed in empowering coastal communities as Marine Command Command in supporting Indonesia's maritime defense.

Abstract

Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI) is an archipelagic country. Indonesia's struggle to gain world recognition as an archipelagic country was first obtained through the Archipelagic State Concept in the Djuanda Declaration on December 13, 1957. Indonesia's maritime territory is an area rich in resources that are beneficial for the welfare of society. So far the development of the outer islands has not shown good results. This is caused by many factors, among others, geographically the location of the outermost islands is difficult to reach, there are limited business scales, methods of exploiting marine resources that are not yet effective, limited facilities and infrastructure, limited ability to manage available natural wealth. This research aims toanalyze community empowerment activities living on these islands as one of the efforts to maintain territorial integrity and realize Indonesia's maritime defense. This research is a qualitative research. The research design is descriptive analysis. The results of this study arecommunity empowerment in the outermost small islands in maintaining territorial integrity and realizing Indonesia's maritime defense through the Service of the Indonesian Navy, Development of Regional Resilience and Social Communication and the Government of Natuna Regency providing various types of assistance, such as socialization of fish farming and fishing gear. The empowerment cooperation carried out by Lantamal IV Batam with the Regional Government of Natuna Regency has not gone well, the actors involved in implementing the empowerment cooperation have not worked together optimally and there are still obstacles faced, namely uniting community empowerment activity programs between Lantamal IV Batam and Natuna Regency.

Abstract

Keywords: selat taiwan, naval war, sea denial, policy, surface-to-surface missile (SSM) Abstract We need to remember again that in February 2022 Russian troops placed their air power and ground forces on the border with Ukraine and also stationed their troops in Belarus, who would have thought that the Russian troops that were parked were predicted to be just a show of military strength, in fact Russia attacked quickly to the Ukrainian capital Kiev, as recently as December 12, 2022 Beijing placed 18 Nuclear-powered H-6 Bombers around the border with Taiwan in response to the visit of the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, will war break out between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of China Taiwan, everything is certain I don't know when the attack will occur, I will explain the strategy from my point of view acting as Taiwan, which on paper Taiwan's military strength is more inferior when compared to the military power of the People's Republic of China, will Taiwan be conquered!, or can Taiwan put up such fierce resistance? Like the war between Russia and Ukraine, or can Taiwan counterattack, of course the focus of the discussion in this article is the use of the Airspace, Sea and Seabed in the Taiwan Strait, where this strait is a springboard for Beijing to control Taipei, along with its review.
