Abstract

The increasing conversion of land to non-agricultural land, especially in Indonesia, has resulted in the development of many agricultural models that no longer depend on large tracts of land or agricultural land. The current hydroponic model is one of the modern technologies that is easy to develop without relying on agricultural land. This is because hydroponics is an agricultural model that does not use soil as a growing medium, but plants are only fed with nutrient fluids through plant roots. Hydroponic gardens generally use a parallon type of pipe installation to drain nutrients by using a pump as the irrigation method. In addition, hydroponic gardens are also required to check nutrient levels regularly at 560-840 ppm. This is because sometimes ppm of nutrients will affect hydroponic plants if the number is outside this range. The problem is that the garden manager is required to control the nutrient levels 2 times a day, in the morning and evening, which is certainly very inconvenient for the garden manager. Therefore, in this study, the development of hydroponic garden monitoring technology based on IoT technology that can provide reports on nutrient levels via smartphones. The results of the research conducted are that the application developed is able to control the condition of the hydroponic garden in real time. In addition, through the use of solar panel technology, hydroponic gardens are also able to supply electricity for their operations without having to rely on electricity supply from PLN

Abstract

The education sector is one of the sectors that apply computerized information technology the most. This certainly has an impact on the continuous development of computer technology both in terms of hardware and software. One of the cases in the field of education that involves computers is the selection of the best principal using the decision support method. Decision support method is a method that can be used to provide recommendations on alternatives that have been previously determined based on predetermined criteria. In this study, a decision support model was developed using a combination of two methods, namely the Entropy and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods. The entropy method is used to calculate the entropy value and normalized entropy, while the SAW method is used to normalize and rank alternatives based on the existing criteria. The results obtained are that the use of these two methods is considered better than using only one method, both entropy and SAW

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has an impact on globalization which will affect all aspects of human life, especially in the world of education. This requires educators to make innovation in learning. One of the innovations that following technological developments, namely Augmented Reality (AR). Augmented Reality is a technique of combining real and virtual worlds and is based on 3-Dimensions (3D). The objects used can be 2D or 3D. This research is entitled Augmented Reality for Building Materials using Unity 3D, Vuforia SDK, and Blender Applications. In this research, the application was developed by involving 3 main software, namely vuforia, unity 3D, and Blender. Vuforia is a plugin for a software called unity 3D. Augmented Reality and Unity 3D are two platforms that make it easier for users to produce 3D graphics that will be displayed if the graphic that has been used as a marker is highlighted with a camera from an SP. The results of this study have succeeded in developing applications with building markers using vuforia, unity 3D, and Blender.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a study of mathematics that implements culture in the teaching and learning process, especially in mathematics learning, can be an alternative in teaching mathematics and also introduces cultural values to students, especially in Acehnese cake culture. Most students do not realize that in everyday life they have applied mathematical concepts. This is because students only consider that mathematical concepts are only learned during mathematics subjects at school. This study aims to describe the ethnomathematics found in typical Acehnese cakes. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection method is observation conducted by 5 observers, interviews with 5 typical Acehnese cake makers, and documentation. The results showed that there is ethnomathematics in typical Acehnese cakes, namely being a medium for learning mathematics about the concepts of integers, fractions, awakening and congruence, building flat, and building space

Abstract

Lingkungan keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama bagi anak dalam mendapatkan pendidikan sehingga dapat membentuk motivasi, keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan menanamkan kepribadian anak dalam pendidikan. Namun demikian, pandemi Covid-19 telah memberikan dampak yang luar biasa sehingga kegiatan di sekolah terpaksa diliburkan dan diganti dengan sistem pembelajaran daring. Orang tua menjalankan peran ganda di masa pandemi Covid-19 yaitu menjadi pendidik dan pengajar, karena sebagian besar tugas seorang guru berpindah ke orang tua. Sistem pembelajaran dengan metode daring merupakan proses pembelajaran tanpa tatap muka yang dilakukan melalui aplikasi online seperti google meet, whatsapp, dan zoom meeting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: a) peran orang tua pada pembelajaran matematika secara online/daring; dan b) kesulitan yang dialami oleh orang tua di masa pandemi Covid-19 dalam mendampingi anak usia 7-12 tahun pada pembelajaran matematika secara online/daring. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan menggunakan metode objektif sebagai pengembangan dalam menilai keberhasilan belajar siswa. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 30 orang tua siswa dan 30 siswa sebagai sumber data. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan mulai awal bulan Juni-Desember 2022 yang dilakukan di SD/MI di Lhokseumawe dan Aceh Utara. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa peran orang tua sebagai pendidik, pengarah, motivator, dan fasilitator sangat penting dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan metode daring. Sedangkan kesulitan orang tua dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan metode daring yaitu latar belakang orang tua relatif rendah, penghasilan orang tua di bawah UMP, ketersediaan waktu orang tua dalam mendampingi anak yang singkat karena orang tua harus bekerja, dan kemampuan orang tua dalam mengoperasikan gadget/komputer/laptop/internet.
