Abstract

Discipleship teenager’s is very essential for the growth of teenager’s attendance which does not affect the spiritual life but also outwardly, the phenomenon of declining discipleship is feared to also have a negative impact on the growth of teenager’s attendance in worship. This study aims to determine how much influence discipleship teenager’s directly have on the growth of church attendance. This study uses quantitative methods based on quantification in data collection and analysis to test the established hypotheses. Conducted at the Junior Church of Bethel Church Indonesia Tabgha Batam, from October 2021 to May 2022. The results of the research prove that the level of (1) understanding of the benefits of discipleship is in the range 176.80-185.375: moderate to high class, (2) the growth rate of attendance is in the range of 144.68-151.36: high class. This study also found (3) The contribution of the influence of discipleship partially to the growth of church attendance was 76.9%. The magnitude of the direct influence of the Discipleship teenager’s aged thirteen to eighteen year’s variable on the growth of church attendance is 24,066, meaning that if the Discipleship teenager’s (X) is 0, then the growth of church attendance (Y) Junior Church of Bethel Church Indonesia Tabgha Batam the value is 24,066 units. The regression coefficient of the Discipleship teenager’s variable (X) is 0.685; This means that if the Discipleship teenager’s is increased by one time, it will increase the growth of church attendance (Y) by 0.685.

Abstract

The problem of parent and child relations has hit Christian families which has an impact on the mentality of children who no longer respect their parents, also has an impact on not fearing God and of course affecting the spiritual cycle in the Christian family's journey today. Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church sees that strengthening parent-child relationships in terms of Christian family values which contain ethics, morals and faith education, needs to be considered and improved by finding effective ways to achieve these goals. The purpose of carrying out this community service is to provide counseling on strengthening parent-child relationships through re-education of Christian family values. This activity was carried out in 2022 at Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church. The method used is counseling to strengthen parent-child relations through re-education of Christian family values, monitoring through re-education of Christian family values. All stages have been carried out properly supported by high congregational participation.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the understanding of the Great Commission plays a role in caring for personal evangelism in the youth of Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Church Batam so that the Youth of Bethel Indonesia Church Bride Of Christ Batam have the enthusiasm and courage to carry out personal evangelism as part of the Great Commission. This research is descriptive qualitative research and the resource persons in this research are the Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church youth who were taken randomly. Research data was collected through in-depth interviews using the coding method. The data obtained was then analyzed using the stages of condensation, data display, drawing conclusions. The research results show that understanding the Great Commission plays a role in caring for personal evangelism in the Bethel Indonesia Bride of Christ Batam Church Youth, which is a natural expression of living Christianity. Jesus Christ is the pioneer of mission itself. God's plan in His eternal sending is to bring transformation and liberation to humans and all of His creation to bring about the eternal kingdom of God. Personal evangelism is an attempt to bring about a breakthrough in the boundaries between faith in Jesus Christ and the absence of it. The form of personal evangelism concern at Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church Youth is carrying out direct personal evangelism or face to face, via WhatsApp and intensely calling people who are in the process of evangelism. This fact is also supported by the statement of the Bethel Indonesia Bride Of Christ Batam Church Youth who felt a deep bond between themselves and the church and the people who were the targets of personal evangelism.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the development of the use of audio-visual learning for creativity in children's religious education at the Bethel Indonesia Tabita Lobam Church, Bintan. This research is research in the form of field research or field research is a type of research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the community at the PkM location. The research results obtained in the implementation of coaching on the use of audio-visual media consist of several stages. First, the teacher makes preparations by preparing equipment in the form of a projector, sound system, laptop and children's story CDs. Second, the teacher carries out apperception, such as asking questions about the story they are going to learn. Then, the teacher conditions the children to sit neatly and comfortably, after that the teacher shows a video with a duration of 15 minutes. After that, the teacher and children conduct questions and answers regarding the video that has been presented and give the children worksheets to measure the extent to which the children understand the material presented using audio-visual media. With this audio visual learning media, children are able to: increase interest in learning, motivate them in the learning process, and children get a real picture of the concepts being studied and this becomes an advantage in itself. The inhibiting factors in efforts to maximize the use of visual media are human resources, infrastructure and also less than optimal internet signals

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the application of the cooperative learning model to improve the ethics of Sunday school children at GPdI Kavling Seroja Batam. This research is research in the form of field research or field research is a type of research. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The data in this research comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the community at the PkM location. The research results obtained in implementing cooperative learning to improve the ethics of Sunday school children at GPdI Kavling Seroja Batam mean that a Sunday school teacher can make the ethics of Sunday school children better and learning more active. Using creative learning models is one way that can be done. implemented so that learning becomes more active and will influence the learning outcomes of Sunday school children. This success is determined by other interesting activities that can support the improvement of Sunday school children's soft skills. The inhibiting factor in efforts to maximize this is the lack of understanding of parents regarding this matter, the school environment and the home environment of Sunday school children.
