The curriculum in its implementation continues to change. The change indicates that the nature of the curriculum itself is not stagnant but dynamic following the development of science and technology. The impact of the development of science and technology can occur in all lines of people's lives. The needs and demands in the wider community inevitably change as changes and developments occur. Changes in the education curriculum in regular educational institutions, inclusion, and special education intend that the national education goals contained in Law No. 20 of 2003 can be achieved properly. The problem of SDLB curriculum development has not been widely researched so this research is focused more on exploring the problems faced by educators of children with special needs at the elementary school level. The types of research used are qualitative types of case study design and interactive data analysis models Miles and Huberman. The subjects of the study were 4 teachers of SDLB Bhakti Luhur Malang. The main instrument is the human instrument. Supporting instruments use interview guidelines, recording tools, and observation guidelines. Miles and Huberman's model interactive data analysis step is 1) data reduction 2) data display 3) conclusion drawing/verification. Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence the PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) method has on the ability to help bathe in children with autism disorders. The research design used is the SSR (Single Subject Research) A-B-A design for 12 sessions. The results of the study focused on ten indicators of bath self-help exercises: 1) taking toiletries, 2) bringing toiletries to the bathroom, 3) putting toiletries in place, 4) taking water in buckets with dippers, 5) watering the body with water 4 to 5 times, 6) taking and wetting soap, 7) rubbing soap on the face, neck, and back of the ears, 8) rubbing soap on the left and right arms to the tips of the fingers and armpits, body and back, both feet and fingers, 9) rinse the whole body clean, 10) dry the body with a towel starting from the hair, face, neck, ears, arms and armpits, body, back, and legs, to dry. The results showed that the baseline-1 (A) phase was carried out for 3 sessions obtaining an average score of 36%, the intervention phase (B) was carried out for 6 sessions with an average score of 76.6%, and the baseline-2 (A) phase was carried out for 3 sessions with an average score of 80%. The results of visual analysis in conditions show that the directional tendency increases from session to session which means that it shows a good change (+). While in the analysis between conditions the level change from the baseline phase to the intervention phase increased from the previous data while the percentage overlap in phases A1 and B was 0%; Phases A2 and B by 0.3%. The conclusion that can be drawn is that changes in the ability to help themselves bathe in children with autism occur due to the intervention of the PECS method

Abstract

Most people view the elderly as a group that is not productive. Especially if the elderly are accompanied by certain disabilities. Most societies view that at an increasingly advanced age, the individual in question is more troublesome because there is not much they can do. However, the government has paid special attention to the elderly by issuing a Law of the Republic of Indonesia in article 13 of 1998 concerning the welfare of the elderly. This means that the elderly, especially those who are seen as still having potential, should continue to be empowered to remain productive in society. The purpose of this study is to describe 1) the productivity ability of the elderly with special needs before being given training in making tablecloths from patchwork and 2) the productivity ability of the elderly with special needs after being given training in making tablecloths from patchwork. This research includes quantitative research of experimental methods. The design study used the Design of One Group Pretest-Posttest. Meanwhile, the variable used is free, namely training in making tablecloths from patchwork and a bound variable, namely the productivity ability of the elderly. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics with the presentation of data in the form of tables, graphs, and percentage calculations. The subjects of the study were 2 elderly people with special needs aged 62 years and 67 years. Training activities are carried out as many as 6x with a duration of 60 minutes. The results showed that the ability to make tablecloths from patchwork obtained pre-test values for MS subjects: 47.5% and PS subjects: 57.5%. While the posttest value of MS subjects: 80% and PS subjects: 87.5%. When compared to the pre-test and posttest results, there are changes, which means that there is an increase in the productivity of the elderly after receiving training. This increase is that MS has increased by 32.5% and PS by 30%. The average increase in both subjects was 3.5%.
