Abstract

From the result of the survey conducted it seem that one of famous hotel which have good image in Malang has not conducted an evolution of comprehensive performance when it seen from the perspective of Balanced Scorecard (BSC), because it only focuses on financial performance. A company needs a type of planning which can create the future of the company through the changes happening recently. Balanced Scorecard is one of new method used is case study method. The object researched is Hotel X in Malang. And the objectives is to know the hotel performance if it is evaluated using BSC quality, they are 1) Increasing the quality of planning significantly, and 2). Increasing the quality of the management of personel performance. The result of the research shows that the performance of hotel X, when it is evaluated using BSC method still needs improvement in the four perspectives is of BSC and for increasing the performance of hotel X, the alternative choosen is to improve the management of personel performance in the frame BSC.

Abstract

Profit is one indicator in evaluating the performance of a company. To achieve the required profit, good profit planning is needed. Because with the existence of better profit planning, the company in controlling costs will be more directed. Cost-volume-profit analysis (cost-volume-profit) is a very necessary compilation of companies wanting to do profit planning and decision making related to the relationship between costs, sales volume and prices. The purpose of this study was to study how cost-volume-profit in 2015-2016 can be used for income in 2016 at UD. Budi Luhur Demak. The method used was descriptive method. The results of this study indicated that cost-volume-profit analysis from 2015-2016 at UD. Budi Luhur increased profits while sales volume decreased and fixed costs increased. Through this cost-volume-profit analysis, it can be predicted the minimum number of sales that must be achieved to obtain agreed profits in 2016. It is better if company management can apply cost-volume-profit analysis in the profitability.

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the gender difference toward intention to use the mobile banking application in Semarang. Data is collected by self -  administered questionnaire, and pass over to bank customer which done their financial transaction by Automatic Teller Machine. The Sample used in this research is 50 respondents, consist of 30 male respondents and 20 female respondents who never have a mobile banking application before. The results of this study indicate that there is a gender difference in the intention to use mobile banking applications. On the other side, even it is easy to be used, female customers are not feeling the benefit offered, thus resistant to use mobile banking applications. This result brings another contradiction toward The Technological Acceptance Model. Data is examined by the SPSS application, and Mann – Whitney statistical model.Keywords: Mobile application; bank; gender difference

Abstract

Economic growth and business in the era of globalization require all companies to obtain maximum profits. To run a business requires information. Information is required by management to reduce uncertainty in decision making. The purpose of this study is to apply cost behavior analysis in making decisions to accept or reject special orders. The method used is descriptive quantitative. The results show that management has not implemented cost behavior analysis in separating fixed costs and variable costs. The results of the cost behavior analysis, especially the decision making to accept or reject special orders, show that the proposed alternatives are able to accept special orders, because the selling price of the special order is greater than the variable cost. Management of PT. Putra Sejati should start implementing cost behavior analysis so that special orders can be used as an alternative to increase company profits.

Abstract

The cost plus pricing approach in determining the cost of production is very important because this method is more detailed in including the cost components needed in a production process. This situation can affect the determination of the selling price and the resulting profits. The full costing model as the determination of the cost of goods manufactured (HPP) is expected to be a tool for UD Budi Luhur. This study aims to analyze how to determine the selling price at UD Budi Luhur with the selling price according to the cost plus pricing method. The method used is quantitative descriptive method. The results show that the management has not applied cost plus pricing analysis in calculating the selling price. The selling price generated by this method is lower than the method the company has used previously. UD Budi Luhur's management should begin to apply the cost plus pricing method by using a variable cost approach in calculating the selling price so that the selling price achieved by the company can compete with similar products on the market.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and obtain evidence of the factors that influence the interest in using internet banking. The object of this research is BSM (Bank Syariah Mandiri) customers who use internet banking. The research data is in the form of primary data with data collection using a questionnaire with a purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that trust, security, ease of use, and service features had a positive and significant effect on the interest in using internet banking. The results of this study are expected to contribute to BSM (Bank Syariah Mandiri) in formulating its marketing strategy in order to maintain a competitive internet banking and develop a system of internet banking in the future so that BSM customers (Bank Syariah Mandiri) can continue to use internet banking.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian menganalisis keputusan pembelian di marketplace selama pandemi COVID-19. Keputusan pembelian yang baik sebagai pertanda bahwa selama pandemi, marketplace tidak terpengaruh dengan adanya pandemi. Analisis pengaruh brand image, word of mouth (WOM), lifestyle, kualitas informasi diharapkan dapat memberikan ukuran sejauh mana masyarakat memberikan keputusan pembelian di Marketplace. Kuesioner yang diperoleh dengan cara non probability sampling sebanyak 218 responden. Pengolahan data dengan analisis regresi linier berganda menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel independen berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Faktor-faktor ini akan memberikan kontribusi bagi marketplace dalam mengembangkan sistemnya untuk meningkatkan kinerja yang maksimal. Kata Kunci: brand image; word of mouth; lifestyle; kualitas informasi; keputusan pembelian. Abstract The study analyzed purchasing decisions in the marketplace during the COVID-19 pandemic. A good purchase decision is a sign that the marketplace is not affected by the pandemic during the pandemic. Analysis of the influence of brand image, word of mouth (WOM), lifestyle, and quality of information is expected to measure the extent to which people make purchasing decisions in the marketplace. The questionnaire was obtained using non-probability sampling of as many as 218 respondents—data processing with multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 25. The results showed that all independent variables had a positive effect on purchasing decisions. These factors will contribute to the marketplace in developing its system to improve maximum performance. Keywords: brand image; word of mouth; lifestyles; information quality; purchase decision.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kualitas produk (X1), citra merek (X2), harga (X3) dan kepercayaan (X4) terhadap keputusan pembelian (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen Universitas AKI yang pernah melakukan pembelian di Shopee Marketplace. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 135 orang dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan pendekatan non-probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi dengan SPSS Berdasarkan uji regresi pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil Y = 2,752 + 0,022 X1 + 0,183 X2 + 0,556 X3 + 0,258 X4.hasil Berdasarkan uji parsial, variabel kualitas produk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Marketplace Shopee sebesar 0,022. Variabel citra merek berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Shopee Marketplace sebesar 0,183. Variabel harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Shopee Marketplace sebesar 0,556. Variabel Trust berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Shopee Marketplace sebesar 0,258. Hasil uji determinasi menunjukkan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,648.
