Terhadap ibu balita untuk lebih menjaga dan memperhatikan kesehatan anaknya. Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is an acute inflammation of the respiratory tract caused by infectious agents such as viruses, fungi and bacteria that enter the body and attack the respiratory tract from the nose (upper respiratory tract) to the alveoli (respiratory tract that) which spreads by air. ARI (acute respiratory infection) often occurs in toddlers, because the body's defense system is still low so it is easy to be infected with ARI. The behavior of mothers in toddlers with ARI patients in the Lolantang Health Center, South Bulagi District, Banggai Islands Regency is still a concern, from the results of the data obtained in 2019 for the Lolantang Health Center, South Bulagi District, 11.2%. The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of mothers in infants with ARI patients in the Lolantang Public Health Center, South Bulagi District, Banggai Islands Regency. The research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the informants in this study were selected by Snowball Sampling with certain criteria in the Lolantang Health Center Work area, South Bulagi District. Key informants and regular informants are the head of the Lolantang Health Center, the holder of the ARI program and mothers who have toddlers with ARIs. Data analysis in the study went through three paths, namely: Data Reduction, Data Display, and Conclusion Drawing/Verification. The results of this study indicate that the behavior of mothers in toddlers with ARI patients in the work area of the Lolantang Health Center, South Bulagi District, handling mothers by giving orange juice mixed with honey and rubbing eucalyptus oil can relieve ARI in toddlers. Health workers provide more education/full understanding related to the prevention and management of ARI in toddlers, and mothers of toddlers are more concerned about maintaining and paying attention to the health of their children.
