Abstract

Laboratorium Alat Bantu Manufaktur di Jurusan Teknik Industri Itenas mempelajari sistem pemindahan material menggunakan automated guided vehicle. Sistem pemindahan material terdiri dari tiga proses yaitu request, transport, dan free. Identifikasi sistem pemindahan material sudah dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan analitik. Adanya keterbatasan pada sistem pendekatan analitik belum mampu menjawab permasalahan automated guided vehicle yang kompleks. Perancangan model simulator digunakan untuk menjawab kompleksitas sistem automated guided vehicle dan memberikan gambaran secara virtual bagaimana cara kerja sistem material handling menggunakan automated guided vehicle. Pengujian model simulator dilakukan dengan merancang skenario perubahan parameter agar mendapatkan output ukuran performansi sistem untuk menentukan sistem pemindahan terbaik. Kata kunci: Automated Guided Vehicle, Simulator, Ukuran Performansi ABSTRACT Jig Fixture Material Handling Equipment laboratory at the Department of Industrial Engineering Itenas study material transfer system using automated guided vehicle. Material transfer system consists of three processes that request, transport, and free. Identification of the material transfer system has been carried out using an analytical approach. The lack of a system of analytic approaches have not been able to solve the problems of complex automated guided vehicle. The design of the simulator models used to address the complexity of automated guided vehicle systems and provide virtual picture how the material handling systems using automated guided vehicle. Testing is done by designing a simulator model parameters change scenarios in order to get the output measure system performance to determine the best removal system. Keywords: Automated Guided Vehicle, Simulator, Performance Measures
