Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is currently very rapid. Everyone is required to be able to use it in fulfilling the ease of obtaining the expected needs. The Padangsidimpuan Batunadua sub-district office is no exception, where the office has the main task of serving the community and fulfilling administrative needs as an Indonesian citizen. In serving, it takes understanding in the field of service systems and how to improve the quality of these services. One of the activities that can be carried out to increase the understanding of sub-district office employees about public services is socialization. The benefit of this socialization is to improve the quality of service and fulfill community satisfaction. From the results of this socialization activity, the participants increasingly understood the online-based public service system, knew the steps for making a web, and how to utilize the internet network, the right communication network. This activity received a very good response from the participants, was active in asking questions, and hoped that there would be other activities that would support their work at the Padangsidimpuan Batunadua sub-district office. Abstract

In the current era of globalization and digital, fast, precise and accurate information services are needed. One of the technologies that must be applied in government agencies is the implementation of e-government which refers to the development of national e-government, and is adapted to the conditions that exist in each government agency. The aim of this e-government is to improve the quality of service and especially to realize the smart city which is currently being discussed. One of the districts that has recently implemented a smart city is the South Tapanuli district. So that in this study an analysis of the application of e-government in realizing smart cities will be carried out with the aim of knowing the process of implementing e-government policies, implementing smart cities that focus on the community, and to find out the obstacles or obstacles in the implementation of e-government. The results of the study explain that the implementation of e-government in South Tapanuli district is indeed very effective in realizing smart cities in the midst of increasingly sophisticated technological developments. This is shown by the achievement of smart city aspects, although not optimal. In the implementation of e-government there are still a number of weaknesses, obstacles and challenges because the implementation in South Tapanuli district is still relatively new. These obstacles include the inadequate availability of human resources, the level of public capacity regarding e-government is still very low. Supporting factors for e-government implementation are full government support through regulations and established financial support.

Abstract

In the framework of the success of general elections (elections) in 2023 and the creation of a peaceful democracy, one thing that is being done is through outreach. Currently, the participation of first-time voters in the upcoming election is very important because nearly 20% of the total number of voters are first-time voters. In order for the number of first-time voters to continue to increase, the community service team as academics working at Graha Nusantara University conducted community service in the form of outreach about the importance of first-time voter participation in the upcoming elections. The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding of novice voters and in this case the students of SMK Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan who are 17 years and over. This service method is a lecture and a simple simulation about the procedures for choosing a candidate for leadership. This socialization activity was very useful and provided new insights for the participants as seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in asking questions and the results of the questionnaire where more than 80% of the participants answered that they understood the material presented. Abstract

Good urban village administration governance in developing its territory is that the governance that regulates villages/kelurahan must uphold transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and equality/fairness and adhere to the applicable rules and procedures. Good urban village administration will be a supporting factor in the development of the village and the welfare of the village community he leads. This community service is one of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in the form of socialization and training on administrative governance in Batunadua Jae Village, Batuandua Padangsidimpuan District, Padangsidimpuan City. The purpose of this service activity is to improve the ability and understanding of employees in managing and carrying out their duties and functions, especially in community services so that village development in the kelurahan area can be realized evenly. Based on the results of the evaluation, it was concluded that there was an increase in the attitude of employees in serving the public, the ability to carry out governance of government administration both in public service and in using computers had increased.

Abstract

Pembangunan desa tidak terlepas dari partisipasi perempuan. Namun hal ini, banyak masyarakat dan kaum perempuan belum menyadari akan hak-haknya sebagai warga Negara Indonesia seperti yang teruang dalam undang-undang No.4 Tahun 2014 tentang desa terutama di daerah pedesaan. Salah satu desa yang masih rendah partisipasi perempuan terhadap pembangunan desanya adalah desa Sihuikhuik yang terletak di Kecamatan Angkola Selatan Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Di desa tersebut hanya terdapat organisasi perempuan yaitu PKK. Dengan masalah tersebut, tim pengabdian melakukan sosialisasi tentang penguatan partisipasi perempuan untuk pembangunan yang berkelanjutan. Melalui kegiatan ini diperoleh fakta bahwa peserta sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini. Diharapkan ada program-program lain yang dapat mengembangkan motivasi, minat, kekuatan mental, keterampilan kaum perempun untuk mewujudkan pembangunan desa yang adil, makmur, dan sejahtera.
