Abstract

Regional autonomy has been said as the key factor affecting forest degradation in Muna Regency. Local government policy in allowing both local community and bussines actors to exploit Jati forest in the name of local government income mirrors the domination of the logic of rational-anthropocentrism over local wisdom in managing natural resources. This paper suggests to bring back traditional values, root in the Local society, in managing the forest. Such way is believed to balance the need of economic resources and natural preservation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Figur merupakan faktor utama dalam pemenangan pemilu. Faktor ini mempengaruhi keterpilihan seorang calon legislatif dalam pemilihan umum tahun 2014 di Kabupaten Klungkung khususnya Dapil Nusa Penida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana faktor figur menjadi pengaruh terpilihnya seseorang sebagai anggota legislatif. Permasalahan dari penelitian ini adalah mengapa faktor figur dapat mempengaruhi keterpilihan anggota legislatif Partai Gerindra di DPRD Kabupaten Klungkung pada pemilu 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, sumber data  dalam peneletian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder dan melakukan penentuan informan dengan membuat tabel matrix informan. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dengan informan yang sudah dipilih dan mengumpulkan dokumen yang berkaitan dengan materi penelitian. Kesimpulan dari tulisan ini adalah figur menjadi sebuah pengaruh dalam pencalonan seseorang pada pemilu, pencitraan yang baik serta popularitas seorang figur dapat mempengaruhi keterpilihan figur dalam pemilu 2014, dan elektabilitas seorang figur membantu calon legislatif untuk memenangkan perolehan suara dalam pemilu   Kata kunci : Faktor Figur, Pemilihan Umum Tahun 2014, Kabupaten Klungkung, Partai Gerindra

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kinship system is referred to as Batak Association, such as Punguan Pomparan Raja Naiambaton (PARNA) that located in District of Simalungun. The purpose of this study to determine and describe the influence factors of Parna Association in the election District of Simalungun 2016. The theory used is theory of identity politics with primordial approach. This research method is descriptive qualitative. Research data collection techniques by observation, interview and documents. The results of this study found that Parna Association legitimacy as a majority is dominating community in District of Simalungun at the election by supporting one candidate regent that have relation. People in District of Simalungun still give prioritize aboriginal to become a leader in the region that can be seen from the way determining the choice of candidates still based on several factors: blood ties, races, religions, and regions. Abstract

ABSTRACT The enforcement of general election in Papua province especially in mountainous area in Papua still uses Noken system. A chieftain has an important role in making decision. The important role of a chieftain is not only in the tradition order but also in the country government system. The purpose of this study is to know the role of a chieftain in Noken system from the general election in Kamu District Dogiyai Regency of Papua Province 2013. This research used qualitative method and descriptive approach. The data source is primary and secondary data. The primary data was taken from the direct interview and documentation of the informant. The secondary data was collected by using the formal scripts inscriptive. The determination of informant is done by making the informant matrix table. The technique of data collection is by doing interview with the selected informant deeply and by collected the documents which have connection with this research. The result of this study is found that Kamu District in Dogiyai regency still uses Noken system in general election process. The system is hang system or string system where they still consider to deliberation process. The role of a chieftain is decision making in Noken system. The role of a chieftain is a social role and does not bound with the formal law in a country. The loyalty of the community based on the loyalty to chieftain. Based on the result, the roles of chieftain in Noken system are firstly, summon the people to give instruction about the general election process. Secondly, explain about candidate’s vision and mission. Thirdly, control the entry process of ballot as the result of the togetherness agreement into the Noken. Fourthly, bring and give the result of ballot to the organizing committee. The result of this research also found the negative impact of the chieftain role. The negative impact of the chieftain role is the greasing the palm happening where was done by the candidates. These candidates used the authority of the chieftain in making decision. Abstract

ABSTRAK Stand-up comedy yang telah populer lima tahun terakhir di Indonesia menyajikan sebuah bentuk hiburan baru di masyarakat Indonesia. Pementasan sebuah komedi yang dilakukan dengan monolog menjadikan comic sebagai pelaku stand-up comedy menjadi pusat perhatian penonton. Berbagai macam hal dapat dijadikan materi oleh comic, dan sering mengangkat isu-isu yang sedang berkembang. Tidak hanya mencari tawa melalui stand-up comedy nyatanya juga dapat mendekati isu-isu sensitif seperti politik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut , menjadi menarik kemudian adalah bagaimana stand-up comedy dapat dikatakan sebagai bentuk dari komunisai politik di Indonesia. Cara penyampaian pesan yang dilakukan Sammy sebagai subjek penelitian juga akan memperlihatkan, bagaimana pesan politik dapat disampaikan melalui hal yang ringan seperti stand-up comedy. Pemilihan metode analisis isi menjadi tepat digunakan dalam menjawab masalah yang ingin diketahui. Penggunaan teori terkait seni penyampaian pesan yakni retorika juga relevan digunakan dalam menganalisis pesan politik yang terkandung didalam stand-up comedy. Penyampaian pesan politik oleh Sammy Notaslimboy melalui stand-up comedy dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, mulai dari penyampaian bit yang memiliki pola serupa dan terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian, sampai penggunaan bentuk emosional dengan menggunakan kata-kata maupun penggunaan intonasi. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi dan teori retorika dalam meneliti stand-up comedy sebagai bentuk komunikasi politik, dapat diketahui bahwa stand-up comedy merupakan salah satu bentuk dari komunikasi politik. Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of the Catholic Church Timor - Leste brings an interesting dimension in which the occurrence of a marriage between the State and Religion. The influence of the Catholic Church has existed since 450 years in Timor - Lifau to be Timor - Leste. The Church is so varied in their efforts to draw closer to the public for increasingly legitimized in the heart of the community it creates religious actors who have a role in the political constellation Timor - Leste. Period - a difficult period experienced by Timor - Leste in 2006 there has been a mess as a democratic state where the Timor - Leste should be able to run a good election no wonder the Church does not remain silent but the Church falls directly to supervise elections in 2007. And what about the actors religious view politics itself using qualitative research - verification also direct observation using deliberative democracy theory analysis on the relationship of state and religion to see the influence of religious actors of the State and this study will prove the role of religious actors in the political constellation Timor - Leste. Abstract

ABSTRACK Multiculturalism that occurred in the village kusamba to explain how the public perception of the village kusamba to the meaning of the politics of multiculturalism in klungkung, revealed how the patterns of relationship Muslim-Hindu of Bali. Perception in the village Kusamba be classified into three parts, namely, the public perception among the elite, the public perception among the middle and the public perception of society, common perception has the classified into three parts to know how the difference, justice and equality of each of the public perception in home village kusamba and village kusamba to the meaning of the politics of multiculturalism that happened. As a step a theoretical, this study uses the theory of multiculturalism which was said to be an amplifier to create the harmony among religious in the village of Kusamba who have the diversity of culture and religion. the religious harmony the village kusamba not only on tolerance, but.equality of all elements of society that materialized in the whole social, cultural, even in the political space. The method used in this study is the method of qualitative descriptive, while the techniques of collecting data through interviews, study documentation and analysis of documents. In the analysis of the findings in the field showed that there are differences and similarities to the public perception in the village kusamba and the values of multiculturalism that is embedded in generations and how a society able to cling to tolerance has been undertaken for a long time until today. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the case of human rights violations during the massacre witches in Banyuwangi in 1998. The central government that when it is exposed to many issues require a diversion issues in other areas to divert attention began when the reform era turn of the new order of oligarchs capitalist towards a democratic state. Therefore, this study will analyze the motives brutality of human rights violations that led to the massacre of the witches. The purpose of this research that examines how government as the dominant party using a various social control to a group that dominated the society. This study used qualitative methods - descriptive. The subjects were the victims and the community leaders who concern about the problems of this massacre case. By using the theory of hegemony to explore the phenomenon of the role of the state to a case that comes to the human rights violations like this. Namely data collection techniques with direct observation to the test site and the literature to comparison be empirical research results also snowball technique purposive sampling. Based on the analysis of cases of human rights violations during the massacre witches in Banyuwangi 1998 as a whole is a game the government on the transfer issue. Turbulent political force people to accept an issue to distract him from the turmoil in the capital but did not go according to the destination. The lack of public understanding about the violation of Human Rights to make the case - a case that concerned have not or even cannot be resolved properly, including cases of human rights violations in Banyuwangi 1998's.   Keywords: New Order, Human Rights Violations, Hegemony Gramsci

Abstract

ABSTRACK figure is the first factor in winning the general election. These factors capable of delivering from PKB party seat legislative council in the district of Tuban. This study aims determine as far as of influence the PKB candidate figure legislative to give winning in district of Palang while 1999-2014. This study uses qualitative research method by study elected legislative candidate. Sources data in this study uses primary sources and secondary sources. Technical gathering data can do by serious interview with informants has determined and gathering documents are related to study material. The findings in this study that, the PKB party victory in the District Cross Rofi'udin pioneered by figures who have achievements and the idea of renewal in the art of Islam. Among them is the art of propaganda tongklek and social activities undertaken by the students MA Al-Mustofawiyah. Tongklek art is a means to draw attention to more mature voters, whereas in social service conducted targeted at first-time voters. Conclusion from this study is influence the figure Rofi’uddin selected because of there are image has given from society by means of achievement, contribution to NU along with entrusted missionary endeavor from Kiai. Meanwhile, in sphere NU still trust with the mean sendikoh dawoh marang Kiai (all of command from Kiai is doing by Santri and society).
