Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the value added of chrysanthemum flowers on Ningsih Florist. The research was conducted for 4 months in Kakaskasen II, Tomohon City. The data were obtained by direct interviews with business owners and then analyzed by descriptive quantitatively. The research results showed that acceptance ningsih florist business where the average monthly spending ± 5.148 stalk of chrysanthemum flowers with the acceptance of all the flower arrangements, namely IDR. 66,040,000.00. Enterprises chrysanthemum flower arrangements by Ningsih Florist as a whole can benefit and deserves to be developed. It is based on the analysis of the value added that gross value added amounted to IDR. 16,729,984.20, net value added IDR. 16,683,734.20, value added every feedstock IDR. 3249.80 / stalk. The calculated value added that each item is flower corsage flower arrangement has the value added IDR. 4,424 / item, bouquets IDR. 212 249 / item, flower table IDR. 914 / item, floral wreaths IDR. 8,615 / item, and flower board IDR. 115 140 / item.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify elements in "Marketing Mix 4P" which applies to the marketing of durian at Boulevard Mall, Manado. This research was carried out for 2 months from April to May 2016. Data was retrieved through a survey consisting of primary and secondary data. Data was collected using a "purposive sampling" method, intentionally interviewing six respondents from fifteen respondents in the area of Boulevard Mall, Manado. There are four types of durians sold in Boulevard Mall: durian gajah, durian susu, durian mentega, and durian madu. Prices are relatively affordable and vary based on the type, with the highest price being durian gajah. The sale location in Boulevard Mall was selected by the sellers because it is within easy reach of the southern part of Manado and has a lively atmosphere. It is close to the beach, which is an ideal setting for relaxing while enjoying durian. Sellers promote their goods to consumers by offering an opportunity to bid prices, giving bonuses when consumers buy a certain amount, offering delivery services, and giving consumers the opportunity to taste test it for free.

Abstract

Rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum L) in the form of a tree with fruit that has skin hair resembles a fruit crop wooded meant in the family Sapindaceae. Talawaan village is a center of rambutan fruit producer in North Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted in January to April 2016 in the village Talawaan Talawaan District of North Minahasa regency. This study using purposive sampling technique using a sample of 15 people rambutan growers. Data collected consist of primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the respondents farmers for the production of rambutan Talawaan village average per farmer as much as 1237.73 kg while the average production per tree as much as 78.51 kg with the average price per kilogram of rambutan Rp 6,000. Rambutan farm receipts on average per farmer Rp 7.4264 million while for the average receipts per tree Rp 471 060. Farm production costs to the cost of production per farmer Rp 228.374.33 while the cost of production per tree Rp 161.56.78, so revenues are reduced by the cost of production, the rambutan farm income to average per farmer Rp 7,198,025.67 while for earnings per tree Rp 454,904.63.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what sectors into the base sector and the role of base sectors on employment within the last 5 years in the Province of North Sulawesi study was conducted over three months starting in October 2016 until the month of December 2016 in the province of North Sulawesi. In this study, the data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sulawesi Province. The data is processed using descriptive analysis and presented in tables and graphs. From the results of research show that the sector became the sector base in North Sulawesi are agriculture, forestry and fisheries, construction, and transport and communications sectors. In the agricultural sector the rate of labor absorption is much larger than the other two sectors of the base, but the growth rate of its workforce decreased when compared with other bases of both sectors. It can be seen from the average level of labor absorption per each sector of a base. At the rate of growth of gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of North Sulawesi province to the agricultural sector amounted to 21.70 percent and the rate of employment growth of 0.22 percent, the construction sector amounted to 12.71 per cent with employment growth rate of 0.44 percent, while transport and communication sector amounted to 12.59 with labor force growth rate of 2.97 percent.

Abstract

The study aims to identify factors - factors that affect consumer purchasing decisions of fruit in Freshmart Tikala, Manado based on aspects of individual consumers, environmental influences and marketing strategies. This study is a qualitative research with quantitative approach. The research was conducted from September to December 2016 in Freshmart Tikala, Manado. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews with 60 respondents who have bought fruit in October 2016. The sampling method is to use accidental sampling method. Analysis of the data used consisted of a questionnaire test, classic assumption test, descriptive analysis, regression test, determination test, F test and t test. These results indicate the test results of multiple regression analysis is positive and significant F-test value <0.05, which means simultaneously independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results of t test analysis of individual consumer variables, environmental influences and marketing strategies significant value <0.05 means that the independent variable (the individual consumer, environmental influences, and marketing strategies) partially influence on purchasing decisions. The variable most influential in purchasing decisions is variable marketing strategy that has the highest coefficient of 0,243 and 0,000 significant value. Thus the individual consumer factors, environmental influences and marketing strategy and a significant positive influence in decisions on buying fruit.Keywords: consumer, purchasing decisions, fruit, Freshmart, Tikala, Manado

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activities of the Amurang Port on the economy of the communities around the harbor. This research was conducted at the Amurang, Sub-district of West Amurang, South Minahasa Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. The reason for using qualitative methods for this research seeks to find answers to questions relating to the socio-economic life of the commonity who are residing around the port. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected by using observation, interview and documentation. The research found that the activities in Amurang Port can increase the income of local communities, opening up a new business thus increasing employment absortion, there are trading activities and there are social-economic activities around the harbor. Abstract

This study aims to analyze using multiplier effect analysing of tomato agribusiness activity against other activities that affect the economy. Data collection consists of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through a list of questions that had been prepared, while the secondary data obtained from the Head of the Agricultural Extension Agencies. The data collected by looking at the population number for eighteen tomato growers and interviews were also conducted at the Head of the Agricultural Extension Agencies (BPP) was one person. The data analysing method used is descriptive analysis and backward linkage and forward linkage analysis (multiplier effect analysis). The concept of measuring variables was used backward linkage, forward linkage, MPC1 of farmer’s income was spent in the village, and PSY, or expenditure farmer generate incomes. The results showed that the tomato agribusiness activities have backward linkage and forward linkage. The activities related to the tomato agribusiness activity has multiplier revenue of 1,090. Tomato agribusiness activity has an impact on the economy of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the rice supply chain management. Data retrieval is done is primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through a list of questions that had been prepared, while secondary data obtained from relevant agencies to study the Agriculture Department Kotamobagu. The sampling method is done by snowball sampling, where the sample is obtained based on information from first responders then browse to the next respondent. Data presented in tables and descriptive analysis to describe the characteristics of respondents. The concept of measuring variables used is the procurement, planning and control, operations or production and delivery or distribution. These results indicate that the rice supply chain management in the District of South Kotamobagu starting from farmers in the form of grain and then distributed by the farmers to millers. Activities drying, milling and packaging is done by the rice mill, then sold to wholesalers and retailers or directly to the final consumer in the form of rice. The process of the activities in the implementation of supply chain management is divided into three main streams are managed properly, the flow of goods / products, financial flows and the flow of information so that the production of rice in each member of the supply chain is always available.Keywords: management, supply chain

Abstract

This research was conducted in Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. Data to be used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from direct interviews with land transportation users. Secondary data were obtained from various publications issued by the Central Bureau of Statistics Manado City and Regional Agencies related to this research. This research uses SWOT analysis method (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), with analysis of development of transportation sub sector using External Internal matrix. The results of this study indicate that the strategy that can be set for the development of transportation network system in Manado City are Development of existing transportation network in Manado City, based on geographical potential and natural resources owned by looking at opportunities from the tourism and transportation sectors potential for the development of sea and coastal transportation, increased discipline of riders, passengers and pedestrians, balancing the percentage of vehicles and minimizing, congestion level with good parking location arrangement, maximize the development of road network in Manado City by optimizing the distribution of goods and human to the transportation of the feeder (transportation between environments) and maximize the integration of modes to access new road network, Improve the quality of human resources for the users Public transport needs to be done so that they are really ready to carry out transportation services to the general public as well as improve the discipline of utilization of driving license to minimize the users of motor vehicles.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to calculate the profit and added value of the business of processing bananas into banana chips. This research is carried out for two months, from April to May 2017. The research place in one household industry of banana chips in Dimembe Village, Dimembe Sub-district, North Minahasa Regency. The method used in this research is by taking primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct interviews using questionnaires. Secondary data is obtained through literature that supports and is associated with this research. Data analysis methods used in this study are: (1) calculate the Benefits of Banana Processing Business Being Chips, (2) calculate the Value Added Banana Chips. The results of this study indicated that the Agro-Business Processing of Banana Chips provides a benefit received is IDR 5,313,500 per month or twenty-three times of the production process. The value added enjoyed by the owner of agroindustry amounted to Rp 2.404/kg from raw materials used. This added value is an advantage gained by banana chips agroindustry in 1 kilogram of raw material usage.
