Abstract

Teacher Training Institutions (LPTK) have emerged as an area for attention in arranging professional teacher candidates and possess high competitiveness for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030. In this regard, teacher candidates will conduct Field Experience Practice (PPL) to implement theoretical understanding with practical experience to strengthen competences. This study was carried out to analyze the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Triple Helix model-Based Lesson Study (THLS) of PPL. Research subjects consisted of lecturers, teachers, students, and PPL managers at the university. This study conducted through the Plomp development model, the research instrument included a questionnaire, test, and observation sheet. Data were analyzed using the miles-huberman analysis model. The results showed that the level of validity and practicality of PPL model is considered very good with the percentage 92%. The model is effective showed there is a difference in the research skills between pre service science teacher who followed the THLS PPL model and the common PPL model. The THLS PPL model is considered suitable for technical use to enhance the research skills of prospective teachers.

Abstract

Kreativitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran merupakan salah satu solusi atas permasalahan rendahnya hasil belajar di Perguruan Tinggi. Pada penelitian ini, kreativitas dan inovasi ditunjukkan dalam bentuk media permainan tradisional, yaitu congklak termodifikasi dan model pembelajaran blended learning. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar materi konfigurasi elektron pada mata kuliah Kimia Dasar 1, Program Studi Pendidikan Kimia Unpatti. Media congklak dirancang sedemikian rupa sesuai dengan aturan pengisian elektron dalam orbital-orbital atom. Sementara blended learning dilakukan dengan mengkolaborasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament dengan e-learning melalui aplikasi google classroom dan kahoot. Hasil tes awal dan tes akhir ini dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif berdasarkan nilai n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media congklak termodifikasi melalui blended learning dapat memotivasi mahasiswa memahami materi konfigurasi elektron, yakni sebanyak 94,12% mahasiswa lulus dengan kualifikasi berbeda. Selain terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dengan kategori berbeda, yakni 7 mahasiswa (41,18%) meningkat dengan kategori tinggi, 8 mahasiswa (47,06%), dengan kategori sedang, dan 2 mahasiswa (11,76%) dengan kualifikasi rendah. Secara keseluruhan, peningkatan hasil belajar berada pada kategori sedang, dengan nilai n-gain 0,7.
