Abstract

Development planning deliberations is an annual activity held by Badan Perencanaan, Pembangunan, Penelitian dan Pengembangan Daerah (BP4D). It is used to help government in regional development matters. It also helps to solve any problems occurred in regional development in order to bring welfare to the society. The implementation of information systems is required to optimize data tabulation and utilization. For instance, processing data from the results of planning deliberation which are taken from many parties, such as Bappeda and regional organizations. Further, the implementation of information systems in data processing is more efficient and modern. The result of the research is producing an information system to help regional development agency (BP4D) and regional organizations in processing and reporting the result of development planning deliberations. Furthermore, waterfall method with structured design is used in program system processing. Meanwhile, the testing method uses black box model. Then, the result of the test shows that the system has good performance.

Abstract

One of the ways to attract students' interest in learning English is to use interactive teaching materials. However, the teaching materials used at State Polytechnic of Fakfak are still in the form printed materials which seem inefficient to be used during the Covid 19 pandemic because the all the teaching process is online. Therefore, one of the solutions to implement mobile learning. Using mobile learning provides the users accessing material through smartphones and learning through mobile learning applications anywhere and anytime. This study aims to develop teaching materials in the form of an Android-based English Learning Application at Department of Informatics Management at the State Polytechnic of Fakfak, West Papua. The method used in this study is the Waterfall method, where a software development model is carried out sequentially, which means that one stage is carried out after the previous stage is completed. With the teaching materials in the Android-based English course, it can help the educators to carry out their duty as a lecturer to handle learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic.  The result of this study is an Android-based English Learning Application that is functionally tested using the Black Box method. Based on the test results, the application is functioning properly. This is proved by the feasibility test using distributed questionnaires to 40 students of the Department of Informatics Management. There are 96% of students stated that the application can be operated easily and is satisfying

Abstract

The rapid development of technology greatly affects people's lives today, one of which in Fakfak City has all been entered by the development of information technology. Fakfak is one of the regencies on the Papua island, the people of Fakfak Regency highly uphold religious values ​​and it is proven by the motto "Satu Tungku Tiga Batu". In Fakfak Regency, one of the the problems faced by some people is the search of worship places that must be done manually, by asking people around, or by looking at a map. In addition, some places of worship have historical values ​​that need to be known by many people. For example, the oldest mosque in Papua and West Papua is in Fakfak Regency. Regarding to this problem, an information system was created that can display information about places of worship in Fakfak. The method used in this research is a waterfall process model. This application is tested using black box methods and questionnaires. The result reveals that an Android-based application of the Geographic Information System for Places of Worship in Fakfak Regency can help to make it easier for tourists and the Fakfak community to find and obtain information related to places of worship in Fakfak. The results of the black box test state that the functions of the application are running well. The questionnaire test gave results from questions filled out by 20 respondents who stated that the application of the Geographic Information System for Places of Worship was suitable to use by the Fakfak community in obtaining information about places of worship and information on religious history and making it easier for users to find the location of the worship places they wanted to visit.

Abstract

Melayani penduduk yang berjumlah 3.243 jiwa (data BPS 2018), para pegawai Distrik Kokas dituntut untuk mampu bekerja dengan optimal agar segala kebutuhan administrasi masyarakat dapat terpenuhi, namun sayangnya sampai saat ini hanya beberapa dari pegawai Kantor Distrik Kokas yang mampu mengoperasikan komputer untuk membantu melaksanakan tugas pelayanannya dengan baik dan efisien. Hal ini mengakibatkan tugas pelayanan berjalan tidak prima, serta terjadi penumpukan pekerjaan dan berkas di beberapa pegawai yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengoperasikan komputer dari rekan kerjanya yang tidak familiar dengan penggunaan komputer. Untuk melaksanakan tugas pelayanan, para pegawai Distrik Kokas harus dapat bekerja dengan optimal, dan salah satu hal yang tidak dapat dihindari adalah pemanfaatan komputer untuk membantu meningkatkan kinerja dan output kerja yang berkualitas. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pegawai Distrik Kokas untuk melakukan tugas-tugas administrasi dengan menggunakan program Microsoft Word digagas dan akan dilaksanakan. Diharapkan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan, seluruh pegawai dapat mengoperasikan komputer, khususnya menjalankan program Microsoft Word untuk menunjang pekerjaan masing-masing secara lebih efisien dan tidak membebani hanya beberapa pegawai yang biasa bekerja dengan komputer seperti yang selama ini terjadi.

Abstract

Indonesian achievements in the ASEAN Games continued to decline in achievement starting in 1962 with the acquisition of 51 medals and up to 2014 with the acquisition of 20 medals. The decline in achievement was due to the lack of athletic resources due to the absence of media that could record athletes' abilities in the field. Can record the athlete's performance before running, running and after running using the Heart Rate sensor and Motion Capture sensor. The results of the sensor recording will be stored in the database. This system applies the Internet of Things (IoT) concept, using raspberry pi, Arduino microcontroller, T34 polar heart rate sensor to capture and send heartbeat to receivers, gyro-based motion-capture sensors that named wear notch where this sensor serves to capture the movement of athletes, sensors communicate with the system using 4G connectivity, use MQTT as edge computing which acts as a communication medium from sensors to databases, Maria DB and influx DB as accumulation which plays a role in storing heart rate and athlete's movements that have been recorded by sensors, athlete performance monitoring platform with a heart rate sensor and athlete's motion capture is a web-based application that collaborates all processes from the sensor to the system. Sensor heart rate recording results are categorized good because the error margin is only 0.4%. Wearnotch sensor data can be stored in the database, and athletic data can be recorded before sports, while sports, and after sports in real-time

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find out students’ motivation towards English in State Polytechnic of Fakfak, West Papua. The participants of the study were 53 students from Informatics Management Study Program. The instrument used in the data collection was a questionnaire that consists of 20 indicators where 9 indicators refer to instrumental motivation, and 11 indicators are integrative motivation, and 2 open-ended questions were aimed to know another students’ motivation in learning English. Then, the data were analyzed descriptively. The finding indicates that the majority of students at Informatics Management Study Program have integrative motivation in learning English. However, it is also possible that the students have both integrative and instrumental motivations. Based on the students’ responses from open-ended questions, most of the students learn English because it is useful in getting an excellent job in the future, to study or work abroad, to pass an English proficiency test and to be able to read English materials, and also to make friends with English native speakers. Thus, in learning English, motivation is crucial to determine the learners’ achievement. As Dornyei (1998) indicated that it is very possible to successfully reach goals and good achievement with sufficient motivation.

Abstract

Sistem monitoring lingkungan air secara realtime merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan dalam upaya menjaga ekosistem air pada negara maritim dan kepulauan, seperti contoh Indonesia yang memiliki kekayaan sumber daya air yang sangat besar. Dalam rangka mengintegrasikan sistem monitoring dengan teknologi big data untuk analisa realtime, kami mambangun sebuah sistem yang dinamakan SEMAR (Smart Environtment Monitoring and Analyttic in Realtime system), yang merupakan platform IoT-Big data untuk monitoring lingkungan air. Akan tetapi, SEMAR belum memiliki sistem analisa. Sehingga kami melakukan penelitian untuk membangun sistem analisa untuk klasifikasi kualitas air menggunakan metode Indeks Pencemaran, yang mana akan menjadi ekstensi buat sistem SEMAR. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan algoritma Linear SVM dan Decision Tree yang digunakan memiliki tingkat akurasi di atas 90% dan rata-rata MSE sebesar 0.019075. Sementara untuk waktu pemrosesan sistem SEMAR hanya membutuhkan rata-rata 0.5 detik untuk memproses data yang diterima hingga proses visualisasi.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sistem yang berjalan, membuat perancangan aplikasi penjualan dengan barcode.  Adapun sistem yang digunakan di Toko Multazam masih manual, sehingga perlu dikembangkan menjadi sistem yang terkomputerisasi yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja petugas atau kasir dalam meningkatkan pelayanan. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman  Java dengan database XAMPP 1.7.3, serta l Report untuk pembuatan laporan. Dimana dalam pengolahan data penulis menggunakan sistem barcode. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan adanya sistem tersebut, maka proses pengolahan data dapat diproses dengan mudah dan waktu yang relatif singkat.

Abstract

Bahaya kebakaran dapat berdampak fatal seperti kehilangan harta benda bahkan korban jiwa. Pasar merupakan salah satu tempat yang sering terjadi kebakaran, seperti pada pasar Torea, Tumburuni, dan Sebrang di Kabupaten Fakfak. Tindakan preventif merupakan hal yang diperlukan guna menghindari, mencegah dan meminimalisir terjadinya bencana kebakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem monitoring asap berbasis IoT yang dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi adanya potensi bahaya kebakaran di pasar. Metode penelitian dalam perancangan sistem ini mengacu pada model SDLC waterfall. Komponen yang digunakan berupa sensor asap MQ-2, raspberry pi, buzzer/alarm, yang dapat dijalankan pada perangkat mobile dengan platform website dengan server IoT thing speak. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem deteksi asap berbasis IoT, yang berfungsi untuk memberikan peringatan dini mengenai adanya potensi kebakaran melalui alarm. Sistem ini dapat digunakan untuk membantu mendeteksi dan menghindari potensi terjadinya bahaya kebakaran.

Abstract

Politeknik Negeri Fakfak merupakan salah satu Instansi Pendidikan vokasi yang ada di kota Fakfak Provinsi Papua Barat yang meluluskan mahasiswa setiap tahunnya. Sejak wisudah pertama pada tahun 2015,  belum ada penerapan sistem informasi pengolahan data alumni berbasis web di Politeknik Negeri Fakfak sehingga data alumni masih diinput secara manual. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Data Alumni akan dapat membantu dan mempermudah pihak kampus menyimpan data secara struktur dan dapat membantu alumni dalam mencari informasi data alumni yang dibutuhkan dengan mudah dan cepat. Alumni mempunyai peranan penting untuk pengembangan sebuah instansi pendidikan karena alumni berperan sebagai duta yang mencerminkan kualitas instansi pendidikan diranah publik. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Data Alumni Politeknik Negeri Fakfak, maka pihak kampus dapat mengetahui kualitas lulusan sebagai acuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas mahasiswa angkatan selanjutnya dan juga sebagai media masukan untuk kemajuan Politeknik Negeri Fakfak. Proses perancangan sistem informasi ini menggunakan metode DBLC untuk perancangan database dan metode waterfall untuk perancangan sistem. Sistem ini dapat diakses oleh petugas yang mengelola aplikasi, masing-masing ketua jurusan dan alumni Politeknik Negeri Fakfak. Kumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, interview, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka.  Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Sistem Informasi Data Alumni pada Politeknik Negeri Fakfak berbasis web. Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa   sistem yang telah dibuat dapat memenuhi persyaratan fungsional secara baik
