Abstract

This study aims to find out to determine the form of social network for Grouper (Epinephelus sp.) fishermen in Untia Fisherman Village, Makassar City before the Covid-19 pandemic period and to determine the ability of Grouper (Epinephelus sp.) fishermen in building social networks. during the covid-19 pandemic in the Untia Fisherman's Village, Makassar City. This study uses descriptive qualitative and data collection techniques are observation and interviews using questionnaires. The sampling technique used snowball sampling with a total sample of 10 people. This research was conducted in March-April 2021 in Untia Fisherman's Village, Biringkanaya District, Makassar City with data analysis methods, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, leveraging and affirmation of conclusions (drawing conclusions and verification). The results of this study indicate that (1) there are three forms of fishermen's social networks, namely vertical social networks, vertical social networks and diagonal social networks (2) The ability of fishermen to build social networks is still quite low.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the number and factors that influence fish consumption in Tamannyeleng Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency. This research was conducted from June to July 2021 in Tamannyeleng Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency.   The type of research used is a type of survey, which is research that takes samples from a population in the field and is used as basic data. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling. The technique of non-probability sampling is that each member of the population has zero chance. That is, sampling is based on certain criteria such as judgment, status, quantity, voluntariness and so on. The results of the study obtained were the amount of fish consumption before Covid-19 and after Covid-19 there was a difference. Before the existence of COVID-19, there were several who consumed fish as much as 0.5 kg per week, 1 kg per week, 2 kg per week and there were respondents who no longer consumed fish per week during Covid-19. It can be seen that the people of Tamannyeleng Village feel that during this Covid-19 period they are experiencing difficulties. Meanwhile, the factors that affect fish consumption of vulnerable people in Tamannyeleng Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency consist of income, education, taste, number of family members, fish prices and fish substitution prices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition and management of the Laguna beach tourist destination and describe the socio-economic impact of Laguna beach tourism on the social changes of the people of Pao-Pao Village, Tanete Rilau District, Barru Regency. This research was conducted in January-February 2022. The sampling method used was the purvosive sampling method with the following criteria, informants and the entire community who were considered to know in-depth information and problems and could be trusted as valid data sources and were willing to be interviewed. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. In Laguna beach tourism there are socio-economic impacts that affect the survival of the community which are felt by managers, traders/business actors and the local community, where the social impact on Laguna beach tourism, the community experiences changes in people's thinking patterns in responding to education and the times so that social interaction develops. over time, but it can still be monitored and overcome if it is negative and the economic impact that occurs, the community can open a business/sell-sell so as to increase their income. In improving the social welfare of the community, it can be done by developing lagoon beach tourism with the support of good facilities and infrastructure, cleanliness and safety as well as socio-economic impacts that provide social change for the community, whether it is a decent and harmonious life, even though the changes require a long period of time.
