Abstract

The purpose of this case study is to try to obtain the data in describing the early writing skills through occupational therapy approaches in kindergarten children who have autistic spectrum disorders. The research was conducted at the Rainbow Kindergarten Special Needs Son Tangerang to the subject of autistic children aged 5-8 years who underwent occupational therapy. The method in this study using a case study with data collection through observation, documentation and writing skills beginning asessmenin children.Results showed that children with autistic spectrum disorders have a different beginning writing skills in accordance with the characteristics of each child both aspects of behavior, fine motor, attention and concentration as well as the level of language comprehension. Impact accompaniment of the results showed that an increase in learning, especially in the beginning after the childs writing skills through occupational therapy.Keywords: writing skills, autistic spectrum, occupational therapy

Abstract

This study is attempled to investigasi about how to improve the writing ability through constructive learning in Sinar Bangsa kindergarten, Penggilingan Jakarta Timur on March until June, in the second semester 2008/2009. This study uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart model of classroom action research which consist of the four stages, those are: a) planning, b) action, c) observation and d) reflection. The research result olso concluded that, 1) the constructive learning can improve writing ability for kingdergarden students, 2) managing and organizing the dynamic class can improve the writing ability for kingderganrden students, 3) portofolio assesment system improve the writing ability for kingderganrden students. And the other result of this research is learnig constructive can improve the learning activity and the students outcome learning.Keywords: improve writing, constructive learning

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to develop a model play kinesthetic in improving early mathematical ability in group B TK Damhil Gorontalo.The research of method used is the development of a model (R & D) developed by Borg & Gall. The design of model development is done through the requirement analysis phase, product development, and testing. The first phase trial was conducted in TK Damhil Gorontalo with a number of students 20. The second phase trial was conducted in TK Al Murqi Gorontalo with a number of students 20. The effectiveness of the model test showed a significant increase in the process of assisting children with early mathematical abilities in early childhood. The results of this study generally illustrate that the kinesthetic play model is easy and practical to use. The kinesthetic play model can improve early mathematical abilities in early childhood. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan model (R & D) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall. Disain pengembangan model dilakukan melalui tahap analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan dan pengujian produk. Uji coba tahap pertama dilakukan di TK Damhil Gorontalo dengan sejumlah murid 20. Uji coba tahap ke dua dilakukan di TK Al Murqi Gorontalo dengan sejumlah murid 20.Efektivitas uji model menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam proses membantu anak-anak dengan kemampuan matematika awal pada anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum menggambarkan bahwa model permainan kinestetik mudah dan praktis digunakan. Model permainan kinestetik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan matematika awal pada anak usia dini. Kata kunci: Matematika awal, Permainan Kinestetik

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini tentunya memiliki tujuan yang akan dicapai setelah penelitian dilaksanakan, penelitian dengan mengangkat tema Pendidikan Jasmani Untuk Anak Usia Dini: Pengembangan Fundamental Movement Skill (FMS) bertujuan untuk membentuk fundamental skill pada anak usia dini agar dapat berkembang sesuai dengan karakter perkembangannya sehingga dapat menunjang aktivitasnya pada masa dewasa nanti. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan. Sedangkan model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan Research Development (RD) dari Borg dan Gall yang terdiri dari sepuluh langkah antara lain; 1) need asesmen 2) melakukan perencanaan 3) mengembangkan produk awal yang diuji oleh 3 ahli 4) melakukan uji lapangan kecil 5) revisi produk 6) melakukan uji coba lapangan sedang 7) revisi produk 8) uji coba lapangan besar 9) revisi produk 10) menyusun laporan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji coba kelompok kecil memperoleh skor, 70.04%, uji coba kelompok sedang 80, 34 % dan uji coba kelompok besar 86.89% sehingga efektivitas model untuk mengembangkan fundamental movement skill (FMS) pada anak bisa diterima dengan baik.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the aim of being a learning solution by developingan E-Module Total Physical Response (TPR) method in introducing vocabularyto children aged 4-5 years (development research in group A, Nusa Indah Kindergarten,North Toto Village, Tilongkabila District, Kab. Bone Bolango, Gorontalo).The method used in this study is a research and development method with the Hannafinand Peck model. In collecting data using observation, interviews, documentationand questionnaires in the form of questionnaires. The results of the expert validationtest showed that 83%, with the E-Modul product category, was very suitablefor use in learning. In the small group trial by the teacher, it got a percentage scoreof 89%, with the E-Modul product category being very well used in the learningprocess. The small group trial on children got a score of 3, with the E-Modul productcategory being good for use in the learning process. As for the field trial, the teachergot a percentage score of 90%, with the E-Modul product category being very wellused in learning. And field trials on children got a score of 3, with the E-Modulproduct category being good for use in learning. Based on the trial data, the developmentof the E-Modul Total Physical Response learning method provides benefitsto children by developing the six aspects of child development.

Abstract

AbstrakWork From Home (WFH) selama masa pandemi covid 19 memberikan dampak yang cukup beragam bagi setiap orang. Terjadinya perubahan secara tiba-tiba dalam habitual keseharian senantiasa menyebabkan ketidaksiapan secara emosional pada setiap anggota keluarga, baik orang tua maupun anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua akan pengaruh negatif yang dapat terjadi akibat interaksi yang terjadi antara anggota keluarga, pada perkembangan perilaku anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; Mirror of effect merupakan suatu fenomena yang terjadi dimana perilaku anak mencerminkan perilaku lingkungan sosial di sekitarnya. Karakteristik anak yang cenderung mudah berimitasi, belum memiliki konsep yang kuat tentang moral serta menyukai aktivitas bermain menyebabkan kemungkinan Mirror of effect terhadap hal negatif dalam perkembangan perilakunya akan terjadi jika orang tua kurang mampu mengendalikan emosi selama Work From Home pada masa pandemi covid 19. Oleh sebab itu maka diharapkan orang tua mampu mengendalikan emosi dan selalu berusaha menciptakan lingkungan keluarga yang kondusif untuk perkembangan perilaku anak. “Mirror of Effect” in the Development of Child Behavior During Work From Home (WFH) during the Covid Pandemic 19AbstractWork From Home (WFH) during the Covid 19 pandemic had quite a variety of impacts for everyone. The sudden change in daily habituals always causes emotional unpreparedness in each family member, both parents and children. The purpose of this study is to increase parental awareness of the negative effects that can occur due to interactions that occur between family members and on the development of early childhood behavior. The research method used is literature study. The results showed that; Mirror of effect is a phenomenon that occurs in which children's behavior reflects the behavior of the social environment around them. The characteristics of children who tend to easily imitate, do not have a strong concept of morality and like playing activities, causing the possibility of a Mirror of effect on negative things in the development of their behavior if parents are less able to control emotions during Work From Home during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, it is hoped that parents will be able to control emotions and always try to create a family environment that is conducive to the development of children's behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan agar dapat mengetahui pengembangan panduan media montase berbahan alam dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Perwati Kelurahan Liluwo Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research And Development). Langkah- langkah dalam penelitian ini yaitu tahap I studi awal pendahuluan, tahap II Desain produk, tahap III Validasi Ahli, tahap IV Revisi Produk dan tahap V Uji coba kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian pada uji validasi ahli menunjukan bahwa, 86% (Sangat Layak) untuk validator ahli media, dan 90% (Sangat Layak) untuk validator ahli materi. Serta hasil penelitian uji coba kelompok kecil pada anak menunjukan bahwa anak pertama mendapat skor 3 dengan kategori baik, anak kedua mendapat skor 3 dengan kategori baik, anak ketiga mendapat skor 3 dengan kategori baik, anak keempat mendapat skor 3 dengan kategori baik, dan anak kelima mendapat skor 3 dengan kategori baik. Dari analisis data yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan media montase berbahan alam untuk meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Perwati Kelurahan Liluwo Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan valid.

Abstract

Penilaian kecerdasan anak melalui aspek perkembangan kognitif adalah suatu permasalahanyang hendakya dibuatka sebuah solusi, maka dari itu peneliti mengangkat sebuah artikel ini melihat di sekolah TK Al-Ikhlas masih memilki kendala salah satnya keterlambatan kognitif pada anak usia dini. Artikel ini bertujuan utuk mengembangkan dan memberikan daya cipta pada pendidik di TK Al-ikhas berupa pengembangan dalam menerapkan aspek perkembangan kognitif ini guna meningkatka kualitas dari permasalahan yang terjadi di TK Al-ikhlas di Molibagu, adapun luaran dari hasil artikel ini menciptakan suatu pengembangan dan daya cipta bagi pendidik di TK Al-ikhlas di Molibagu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalahan dimana Kognitif pada setiap anak cenderung mengalami keterlambatan yang tidak sesuai dengan tingkat pencapaian perkembangan. Abstract

The objective of this research was to examine the effect of weaving on a child’s concentration level. The research method was the experimental with pre-experimental design (one group pretest-posttest). The results of the research with 30 children as sample showed that there was difference between the average pretest and posttest. It can be seen in pretest obtained 15.97 and the standard deviation was 1.4735 while in posttest obtained 29.07 and standard deviation was 2.09981. These results proved that there is a significant influence before and after treatment. So, there is an influence of weaving activities on children's concentration.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to determine the effect of the caterpillar game on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City.Design/methods/approach – The research uses experimental quantitative with pre-experimental type one grub pre-test and post-test. Data analysis used the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, followed by a t-test using SPPS software. Research respondents consisted of 30 children.Findings – The findings of this study resulted in an analysis of the value of the tcount amounted to 3,689. While the value of the ttable (α) = 0.05, which equals 0.674. If tcount >ttable 3.689 >0.674, in other words, tcount > ttable, then H 0 rejected and H 1 received. So that there is an influence between the caterpillar game on the ability of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in children aged 5-6 years at the State Kindergarten of Pembina Ki Hajar Dewantoro, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City.Research implications/limitations – This study focuses on children aged 5-6, the activity, and how the child completes the task correctly. In the learning process, some children are still challenged in their level of understanding, so there is a need for proper implementation of learning.Practical implications – This research contributes in the form of innovations to teachers in providing fun learning and references for the teaching team in developing learning media for children.Originality/value – This research provides an in-depth understanding of learning media innovation and developing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) on early childhood education.Paper type: Research paper
