Abstract

This research is qualitative research that aims to describe students' mathematical communication skills in solving math word problems on integer operations. The research subjects were 3 students of grade IV SDN 57 Oeran6tium (high, medium and low ability). The research instrument was the researcher herself and her supporting instruments, math story test questions, material for integer operations, and interview guidelines. The results of this study indicate that subjects with high mathematical abilities are able to understand the problem well so they are able to write down the aspects that are known, the aspects that are asked, write and compile the solution model and write the concluding sentences correctly. Subjects with moderate mathematical abilities are able to write down aspects that are known and asked well, are able to write and construct a solution model quite precisely and have not been able to write concluding sentences. Subjects with low mathematical ability have not been able to write down known aspects, aspects that are asked, write and compile a settlement model and have not been able to write concluding sentences correctly.

Abstract

Karya tulis ilmiah yang dihasilkan guru masih jauh dari harapan, baik dari segi jumlah maupun kualitasnya. Rata-rata guru masih mengalami kendala kenaikan pangkat berikutnya, karena ada persyaratan menulis karya ilmiah (Kompas). Salah satu alternatif solusi yang dianggap dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut ialah melalui “Pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah bagi Guru SD di Kota Kupang”. Tujuan dari PKM ini ialah (1) terselenggaranya kegiatan pelatihan karya ilmiah bagi guru SD di kota Kupang, (2) peserta mampu menguasai konsep penulisan karya ilmiah, dan (3) peserta mampu merancang karya ilmiah. Metode dari kegiatan PKM ini berupa pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah melalui ceramah, PBL, perancangan, serta penugasan. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini terdiri atas: (1) target peserta pelatihan adalah 20 orang guru SD di kota Kupang, namun karena banyak peminatnya panitia menambah kuota, sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 109 orang guru, maka target jumlah peserta pelatihan adalah 100% (sangat baik); (2) dalam kurun waktu satu minggu sebanyak 17 orang guru (85%) telah berusaha menulis karya ilmiah dari 20 target guru; (3) ketercapaian target materi pada kegiatan ini dapat dinilai baik (90%); dan (4) kemampuan peserta dalam penguasaan materi dinilai baik (85%).

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada efektivitas yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunkan model project based learning tentang materi sistem peredaran darah pada manusia kelas V SD Negeri Oebafok Kabupaten Rote Ndao. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif yaitu pre-experimental design secara khusus penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian one-group prettest-posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan peneliti sebanyak 20 siswa yang terdapat pada kelas V. Data yang dianalisis dalam penilitian ini adalah hasil belajar IPA yang di kumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest, hasil penilitian yang dilakukan peniliti menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbandingan dari rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,20 > dari rata-rata nilai prestest yaitu 57,20. Selanjutnya hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistic paired samples test dibuktikan bahwa hasil perhitungan uji-t memiliki nilai t test sebesar 13,178 lebih besar (˃) dari nilai t tabel 12, 621 pada taraf signifikansi 95% dan d.f 19 = 1.729. Jadi berdasarkan kritetia keputusan penerimaan/penolakan maka Ho ditolak dan Hα diterima. Peniliti menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi IPA tentang sistem peredaran darah pada manusia sebelum meggunakan dan sesudah menggunakan model project based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning about theme 6, sub-theme 3 and learning-1 with the Project Based Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with stages namely: Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. This research took place at GMIT Baumata Elementary School, Kupang Regency, with the research subjects being all fourth grade students at GMIT Baumat Elementary School, Kupang Regency, totaling 14 people. The data collection techniques used by researchers in conducting research include observation techniques, test techniques, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students through the use of the Project Based Learning learning model have improved well. This can be proven by the achievement of the average learning completeness of class IV students, which totaled 14 people, namely in the first cycle the percentage of completeness was 71.43% (10 people who completed) and in the second cycle the percentage of completeness was 100% (14 people who completed). The increase in student learning outcomes is seen from the increase in the average score of evaluation test work. The other increase that occurred was in the activeness of students in the class which was assessed using the observation sheet that had been provided by the researcher. From the results of the research above, researchers can conclude that the use of Project Based Learning learning models can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in learning about theme 6 My Dreams, sub-theme 1 Me and My Dreams learning-1 with the Make a match learning model in grade 4 SD Negeri Dendeng. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. Which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately raised and occur in a class together, with the following stages: Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. By taking the location at Dendeng Public Elementary School, Kupang Regency Class 4. The subjects of this research were 20 grade 4 students. Data collection was carried out by observation and test techniques. The results of observations of teacher activity in the first cycle, the class average value was 64.28 and in the second cycle, the second cycle average value was 80.35. Then observation of student activity in cycle I obtained class success of 55.7% and in cycle II obtained 76.8%. Meanwhile, the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I was 35% in cycle II, with an increase in percentage of 100%. Make a match in learning about theme 6 My Dreams Sub-theme 1 Me and My Dreams in the 1st lesson can improve student learning outcomes in grade 4 SD Negeri Dendeng, Kupang Regency.
