Abstract

The monitoring on commercial engine lubricants have resulted that the properties ofmost lubricants (synthetic, semi synthetic and mineral type) have met the requirements specifiedforcommon engine oil. However, significant variations have been found in the properties such asviscosity, viscosity index and additive contents (anti oxidant &detergent). Too high in viscosity willgive difficulty during engine staring and increases the fuel consumption. Meanwhile if the viscosity istoo low this will create more risks for engine damage (metal to metal contact). Some of the samplesfrom synthetic, semi synthetic and mineral lubricants have shown that the additives contents (antioxidant, antiwear anddetergent) are too low. Lower additive contents means that the service life ofthelubricants will be shorter than the usual recommendation. Most of mineral lubricants are too highviscosity at normal temperature of engine operation (lOffC). This will decrease the efficiencyfor theengine operations (highfuel consumption).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan hasil belajar pendidikan kewarganegaran pada pembelajaran tingkat dasar melalui pembelajaran kooperatif model jigsaw. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Peserta Didik Kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri I Mayong Kidul Jepara Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang biasanya disebut dengan PTK. Pada penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua kali siklus tindakan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti adalah seorang pendidik dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Pada setiap siklus pada penelitian tidakan kelas ini terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, observasi serta refleksi. Selanjutnya subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri I Mayong Kidul Jepara Tahun 2015/2016 dengan jumlah peserta didiknya adalah 20 orang. This study aims to determine how to improve learning outcomes of citizenship education course at the primary (elementary) level of education in Indonesia through cooperative learning using jigsaw models. The research was conducted involving the students of grade five of Elementary School (SD) I Mayong Kidul Jepara in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research is a classroom action research that is usually called in Indonesian context as penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). In this classroom action research, the study was conducted in two cycles of action. In this study, the researcher is a teacher-researcher in the implementation process of civic education course. In each cycle of this classroom action research, I conducted several activities such as planning, actuating (implementation) the civic education course, observation and reflection. Furthermore, the subjects in this study were the students of grade five of Elementary School (SD) I Mayong Kidul Jepara Year 2015/2016 with the number of student participants is 20 people. Kata kunci: hasil pembelajaran, pembelajaran kooperatif, model jigsaw

Abstract

Biodiesel from Jatropha oil has several advantages compared to which from Palm oil, among others better cold flow properties (lower cloud point, pour point and CFPP). However, Jatropha biodiesel has an oxidation stability that is too low (2-3 hours) so that its application in the diesel engine is not acceptable. This paper reports the effect of addition of Palm bodiesel and commercial anti-oxidant on the oxidation stability of Jatropha biodiesel. The objective of this research is to find the formulation for Jatropha biodiesel which will meet the oxidation stability determined by World Wide Fuel Charter 2009 (WWFC) of min.10 hours. The required addition of BHT into Jatropha biodiesel is more than 10000 ppm to meet the WWFC specification. The addition of BHT will decrease to less than 10000 ppm if the Jatropha biodiesel was blended with Palm biodiesel as much as 60% v/v. Addition of antioxidant should be limited to a minimum value because there are also concerns about the negative effects of antioxidants on the engine components
