Abstract

Budaya Batobo yang terdapat di kabupaten kuantan Singingi banyak mengandung filosofis nilai- nilai sosial yang tinggi seperti semangat gotong royong, senasip sepenanggungan, mengerjakan ladang bersama-sama, memikul tanggung jawab secara bersama dan banyak lagi nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalammnya. Budaya tersebut saat ini sudah mulai luntur terutama di kalangan kaum muda. Untuk itu perlu budaya botobo di lestarikan. Untuk melestarikan suatu budaya dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan konseling. Tujuan layanan konseling adalah memberikan bantuan kepada invidividu agar berkembang secara optimal termasuk dalam perkembangan sosial. Salah satu pendekatan koseling yang cukup relevan untuk intervensi dalam rangka meningkatkan minat sosial adalah pendekatan Adlerian. Menurut John Wiley & Sons (2004) Adler adalah pendukung kuat dari hubungan sosial yang positif menurutnya, dengan membangun hubungan sosial yang sehat adalah kunci untuk memecahkan pekerjaan atau masalah pekerjaan. Pada dasarnya, manusia saling bergantung. Lebih lanjut Adler berpendapat bahwa ketika kita menerima saling ketergantungan ini individu dapat mengembangkan empati dan kepedulian terhadap orang lain yang pada akhirnya hubungan sosial bisa makmur dan meningkat. Intervensi konseling dengan menggunakan filosofis budaya botobo dapat digunakan untuk layanan konseling kelompok dengan memanfaatkan dinamika kelompok bagi pengentasan masalah sosial yang dialami oleh klien.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the learning process during the adaptation of new habits during the Covid-19 pandemic in schools in Riau Province. This study uses a qualitative method with interview data collection techniques through the telephone network and the WhatsApp platform (chat and video call). The subjects of this study were 11 elementary school teachers, ten junior high school teachers and 20 high school teachers in Riau province who were selected randomly. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the learning process during the new adaptation period during the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred in schools in Riau province mostly had in common; namely, the learning process was carried out in a mixed manner, namely offline and online, learning evaluation carried out by assigning tasks. The factors that hinder the learning process are the availability of applications, a less conducive atmosphere and less than optimal preparation.

Abstract

The world of education is required to produce human resources, in this case, teachers who continue to develop in line with technological developments and their professionalism. One of the teacher's demands in the field of professionalism is the publication of scientific papers. The purpose of this research is to provide scientific writing training for Vocational High School teachers. Participants in this training were 13 vocational school teachers. The training is given in 2 sessions, the first session is to offer training on scientific papers, the reasons why teachers have to make scientific papers, the concept of scientific papers, and the process of writing scientific papers. The second session provides an understanding of how to publish scientific papers, writing formats up to sending scientific papers for publication. Writing Scientific Papers to Improve Teacher Professional Competence before and after being given training experienced an increase from 56.5% to 79.6%. Based on this, it can be concluded that training in writing scientific papers can increase teacher professionalism.

Abstract

The competency test results for state high school teachers who served in Rokan Hilir Regency only passed 42 percent of the total teachers. This indicates that teachers’ performance is still poor. Internal and external factors both influence teachers’ performance. The internal factor is emotional intelligence, which is the ability to recognize one's own and other people's emotions. The external factor is job stress caused by the demands of the job and the work environment. The study aims to determine the impact of teachers’ emotional intelligence and job stress on teachers’ performance. This type of research uses a quantitative approach using linear regression analysis techniques. This research was conducted in all public high schools in the Rokan Hilir district. The population of this study was all teachers at public high schools who served in Rokan Hilir Regency, namely 879 teachers. Sampling using a random sampling technique with a size of 10% of the population, namely 90 teachers. The data collection technique is a non-test psychological measurement scale. Based on data analysis, the following results were obtained: Emotional intelligence has a significant influence on teachers’ performance at public high schools in Rokan Hilir Regency; Job stress has no significant effect on teachers’ performance at the State Senior High School of Rokan Hilir Regency; Job stress and emotional intelligence simultaneously have a significant impact on teachers’ performance.

Abstract

Ketrampilan Desain grafis yang biasanya hanya bisa dilakukan di Komputer, kini bisa dilakukan di perangkat mobile. Anak berkebutuhan khusus membutuhkan ketrampilan untuk hidupnya agar mandiri kedepannya. Salah satu wadah yang bisa digunakan dalam mengoptimalkan kemampuannya adalah dengan melatih anak untuk bisa mengembangkan potensinya di bidang desain grafis dan guru harus memiliki kemampuan tersebut agar bisa diajarkan kepada anak berkebutuhan khusus. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini memberikan pelatihan desain grafis untuk guru pendidikan khusus dengan menggunakan aplikasi “Logo Maker” yang bisa di download di google playstore. Peserta pelatihan ini adalah 15 guru Sekolah Luar Biasa Melati Rumbai. Pelatihan diberikan dalam 2 sesi, Sesi 1 dimulai dengan melakukan sosialisasi mengenai menu-manu yang ada pada Aplikasi “Logo Maker”. Sesi 2 memberikan pelatihan tentang cara membuat design menggunakan Aplikasi “Logo Maker”. Peneliti menilai perkembangan yang terjadi dengan menggunakan beberapa item pernyataan dengan skala tipe likert empat poin. Pelatihan Desain Grafis bebasis Android untuk Guru Pendidikan Khusus sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan mengalami peningkatan dari 57,6% menjadi 80,4%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan desain grafis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan aplikasi “Logo Maker” guru pendidikan khusus.
