Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aims to understand the influence of the use of the dossier onBAP and Kinetin induction shoots from protocorm dendrobium orchid (dendrobium Sp)Conducted in the laboratory biotechnology Faculty Agriculture University SamratulangiManado for 4 months from from june until September 2015. The research uses randomdesign complete with treatment K(kontrol), B1( ms + 1 ppm ) dossier, B2( ms + 2 ppm )dossier, B3( ms + 3 ppm ) dossier, K1 (ms + 1 ppm kinetin ), K2 ( ms + 2 ppm kinetin ),K3 ( ms + 3 ppm kinetin ) and repeated as much as 3 times. Data analyzed by of varianceand continued with BNT 5% (test different real smallest).Treatment 3 ppm BAP had have real impact on higher plants and number of leaves. Thehighest plants that is 1.676 cm across get in treatment BAP 3 ppm while plants the lowestin BAP 2 ppm namely 0.500 cm. Number of leaves most found in BAP 3 ppm namely9.81 and number of leaves at least found in BAP 2 ppm namely 4.56, treatment BAP andKinetin has not been affecting the long the leaves of an orchid dendrobium.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to find out about the effect of plant growth regulators BAP on induction and multiplication shoots of broccoli Brassica oleracae L. var. italica Plenck. This study has been carried out at the Laboratory of Biotechnology Faculty of Agriculture for 3 months starting from April to July 2016. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of a single factor, namely the concentration of BAP with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Shoots of broccoli isolated from sterile sprouts and maintained on shoots induction medium consisting of Murashige and Skoog basic medium. Benzylaminopurine (BAP) with a concentration of 1 ppm to 5 ppm is added to the media for inducing and multiplication shoots of broccoli. Results of the study showed that with a concentration of 1 ppm BAP,2 ppm and 5 ppm induce shoots faster than other treatments while the number of buds Award BAP concentration of 1 ppm, 4 ppm and 5 ppm produced the highest number of shoots among other treatments. Keywords: Shoots of broccoli, Benzilaminopurin, induction and multiplication

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the nutmeg crop cultivation techniques carried out by farmers in Sangihe Islands Regency. This research is a quantitative data of collection techniques using a structured questionnaire to collect data on the cultivation of nutmeg applied by farmers, from seeding to the control of pests and diseases. Farmers surveyed 150 people, divided into three sub-district in the District of West Tahuna, Manganitu and Kendahe.  Determination of farmers in every village performed by using the "purposive sampling" or intentionally sampling based on the presence or absence of inputs received assistance. The results showed that the nutmeg crop cultivation practices applied by farmers in the district of Sangihe is still not in accordance with good farming techniques, such as the preparation of seedlings, fertilization and pest control. Keywords: Study, Cultivation, Nutmeg Plant, Sangihe
